Familiar - BAHH QUEST; The manga; the other spinoff :V
Renu's recent manga pages reminded me of something I was making back in December. I stopped working on it because I was using ink and a dip pen for the first time, instead of penciling it and editing on a computer like I usually do, but it was stressing me out to work with such a permanent medium while still so inexperienced with it.

It was going to be a conversation between Anna and the priest of her town, shortly before the end – or beginning, depending on how you look at it. It was going to be a talk about where the line between warrior and monster is drawn, and whether a god either unwilling or unable to answer prayers for salvation was worth worshiping.

Anyway, I never even finished the first page. Maybe sometime in the future.

Renu - Anna is awkward, Aleksandra is fabulous,

Ok, I contrasted the two so much that it's not even the same style anymore, but yeah.

(and yes, I think I remember Anna being the tallest of the cast, but meh.)

(and if you're wondering why Sandra has the same skirt as Amanchu's uniform, errr... I don't know what you're talking about. This is slander. Lies and slander.)

Top Hatted Zombie - Wibbly wobbly little Anna, Anna growing up from wibbly wobbly
I do much of my thinking about Gaiden to OSTs from RWBY -- a few of them are beautifully relevant, probably because RWBY is also a very "loss of innocence / emerging unstoppable enemy" themed kind of thing when it wants to be. Die, Time To Say Goodbye, sometimes Red Like Roses II. I've got a mental montage set to Time To Say Goodbye, stuff like babayAnna poking her head out of a barn and seeing her father take an AG bullet before going full valk all over. Later, 16yo Anna rising above an army... Anna growing into Durga one part at a time in a sequence -- as if the armor is swallowing her up, feet then legs then stomach then gauntlets + chest, shoulders and finally helmet, and each scene has her fighting AGs. I had a whole thing planned out at one point, almost considered PMing it to the artists because frankly we could really set something to that OST and it would make sense... mostly. Couple parts would be weird.

THIS IS YOUR FAULT
I HAD THINGS TO DO THIS MORNING
WHY

Anna-WIP
(also watch me draw her hair different in literally every frame)

Top Hatted Zombie - Anna growing up from wibbly wobbly
I think that might be indicative of her hunching up her shoulders as she catches her balance, and then relaxing them down once she's recovered.
Yep. Added in a few more frames to make it more obvious. (and finished the second bit, but I think I'm going to take a break now before we get to the sad)

Renu - The Archytypical Tsundere and Behold Nue, In between Shadows and Light.
Whelp, now I want to build a distribution map for BAHHSCQ fans. Are any others willing to reveal their country/state/province/etc.? I'm personally in Washington, USA -- though my location tag already gives that away, really.
Well, it's in my profile, but Paris, France.

Oh, and the stream has finished.

And some rumors say there may have been a tentative to draw Koujiroko, but the authorities have dismissed that claim.

BlackNoise - Anna
Funny coincidence, 1/30th of a millisecond is just off the amount of time the information about the teleport should have taken to reach Anna, assuming they start on synced clocks which should be the case with the drone doing the counting.

Either Langston cheated more by starting a full 64 microseconds before t=0, or she stared at her - 32us banking on Anna not noticing the suspiciously perfect-timed teleport, Anna being Anna detected that instantly and when later asked Langston would claim that technically some observers would see the Anna's countdown reach zero before she teleported so it most definitely wasn't cheating.

On an unrelated note, I drew this a while ago and kinda forgot about it:

Not sure if it was before or after I've seen the PVC symbol currently in use. I'd always imagined Anna as more innocent/awkward/sad looking than tired/dead-eyed. Also for some reason I thought she's pretty lightweight for a near 2m tall goddess of battle.
