But the problem arises that Daemon has no male heir so it would end up in the same situation but later, and even Viserys could see its a bad ideia to force Daemon to marry again.

The northern slope has lava flows like on Hawaii, and the dragons swim in it and it heals them.

There is also a natural harbor.

In the hot springs the closer to the volcanos magma chamber, the hotter the springs.

TBF there's few structures at all, thank the army for that, but it represents an opportunity to build up entirely new structures, physical and institutional, to receive these people. Think about it as growing pains.

More like the other islands are just plain better for building an economy.

We have fishing and we have volcanos and dragons.

And about a few thousand acres or arable land that is mostly under lava…

This is why I wanted sunstone, but in a few hundred years we'll have a pretty damn good area for tourism! In any case I'm pretty sure we can manage for now by focusing on a harbor and residential areas.

Hey wait a minute, I just realized that we can build our capitol to our specifications. We can make it so that the damn place doesn't end up like Kingslanding! ALL HAIL COMPETENT MUNICIPAL PLANNING!!!

I'm not sure I see the benefit of this, the Stepstones are supposed to be an area facilitating naval commerce and travel. Why spend so much building bridges to rival some of the longest in the real world when we can build shipyards to do the same thing?
