So...

After this update, there will be a hiatus, for the next few weeks.

Sorry, I don't make the rules.

A New Home
A New Home:

You looked out the towers, feeling the oily black stone that seemed to hold the great towers. The Port that you could see was carved through the island's entire width. All towards the port and an underground harbor. Protected from the summer stones, hurricanes Dragon fire, and lava.

The entire castle was reminding you of Dragonstone, your home, the stone that had clouded you in obsidian and Dragon Glass. Yet as you did, you looked to Vaegon who was sitting. "What did you do?"

Vaegon had been resting in his new, bare solar that was ready for him. Smooth tabletops, and chairs, comfortable at the touch, and of course, without books. The bed space for someplace to sleep was empty. But otherwise, it was as if he designed the castle for your family, your staff… and you.

He looked at you. "Giving you a place to survive what is to come," Vaegon stated as he rubbed his face. "There is a war coming, a terrible war, that is being played out in the shadows, one that even Viserys does not know about, and it will come to Westeros, and destroy it." He stated. "Something evil."

You narrowed your eyes. "I don't believe you uncle." You stated as the man coughed.

"Believe what you want. But unfortunately, that is something that I cannot deny. For the vision was from your sister."

Your eyes widened and rage filled your being as you grabbed the Maester, and held him out the window. "You know where she is!?" You demanded.

Vaegon was not surprised or shocked… in fact, he expected it. "Yes. She is safe from those that would use her gifts of prophecy to cause great harm to the world."

You still held onto his chains, but let him go a little lower. "Prophecy is an illusion." You proclaimed.

"To some yes, especially. Yet others see the ability to see the future as something far greater. Something far more powerful than just simple madness and trinkets. Men have died from it" He then paused. "And if you kill me, your father won't get his daughter back, for he will be destroyed."

"Where is she!" you growled.

"On the isle of Lang… the only place Savage won't be able to touch her." He then smiled as your grip loosened. "The warrior women of the isle, and that of the Boneway, have powerful magics to keep him from reaching her."

"Who is Savage?" You asked.

"A Man I wished I never trusted, whose words blinded me to the horrors that I have unleashed… more a god than an actual man. He wandered the East since time immemorial, a former Dorthraki that gained immortality through means that I do not know. Though Magic I cannot understand." He replied. "What little I know of him, is that he had eyes on Westeros since Valyria fell. Yet he could not have anticipated himself being caught, nor Aegon conquering Westeros, and forming his own kingdom." There was a sigh, as he moved past you, back to his chair. "I cannot speak for what his plans truly are… only that his plans involving Westeros are military in nature."

"Then how can I defeat him?" You asked.

"You cannot defeat what cannot die." The Maester replied. "It is why I made this place as I have. This is a fortress… and a prison. A Place to house him if we were to finally catch him. And your family has become its wardens."

You nodded, before scowling. "Damn you."

"Not until I am dead," Vaegon replied. "Be with your family. We have work to do."
----------------------

You have 10 actions.

Governmental Actions

[]Taxes and Tariffs: You need to make sure everyone is following your taxes and tariffs. Even Corlys.

[]Pirates and Peace: You need to reign in the Brethren Court. Mostly to make sure you get your share of the loot, once they finally get licensed.

[]The Port: You need men to work in the Port, and that means you need places for them to work from.

[]The Books: You need to make Vaegon get ready to start keeping tabs on your finances so that you don't get into the black or red to quickly.

[]The Castles… Greenhouses?: Vaegon created a large section of the CAstle dedicated to large expansive greenhouses, like the Glass Gardens in Winterfell, where they can grow year-round crops. It would be best to get someone on that.

[]Furnishing the Castle: While the Blackstone is there, there are not really any comfortable places to sleep. So you need to get the place furnished.

Personal Actions

[]Dragonrearing: You are going to Vhaegar and separate the dragons to parts of the island where they will be comfortable.

[]The Wolf of the North: Cregan Stark has Arrived from the North with his Retinue. And he has with him a gift for the Last Dragonlord.

[]Lord Westerlings' Revenge: Lord Westerling has a request he wishes to make. He wishes to write a letter, saying he would never pay homage to the West ever again.

[]Maester Vaegon's Gifts: He wishes to talk to you about… the future, and your family.

[]My Brother's Keeper: You need to see your brothers. Now!

[]Fly: You wish to try and fly on the back of your dragon. You want to fly in the sky.

[]Learn a Skill (Line tail what you want to try and learn. Subject to QM Approval can be taken multiple times costing one action each)

[]Train a Skill: Choose one of your skills to train and become better. (Dragon Riding and other dragon-related skills are now available)

[]Teach a Skill: You want to train your wives, how to do something you know. (Any skill you have that is master rank or above can be taught. Can teach your wives and children.)

[]The Dancing of Dragons: You must teach your children something incredibly important. These Dragons are not pets. They are intelligent creatures… and powerful ones as well. They must understand that they may look pretty. But they are deadly.

[]Lighting the Way: Alicent is drawing in… what you can only describe as a wish for overwork. Something is gnawing at her

[]Plot: You want to start a Plot (Enter a Plotting Miniturn)

I am glad we have Dragons because walking up that stairs it's going to be a pain.
Every day is Leg Day...

Nyra has the perfect exercise to get rid of the extra weight from the pregnancy...

Turns out, all the girls decide to carry the kids on their back going up the stairs, all the while they actually decide that Lucien's exercise regime is actually something that will make them good, and well.

Well. there will be adventures, but mostly familial in nature.

For this turn I would be fine with more personal actions.

I think this one:

[]The Port: You need men to work in the Port, and that means you need places for them to work from.
[]The Books: You need to make Vaegon get ready to start keeping tabs on your finances so that you don't get into the black or red to quickly.

Those are pretty good picks, for the 10th and the last I would either start teaching our brides Time Management or try to get the Brethern Court in place...

I am really curious about Lord Westerling action, what happened? Is he going to break his vassalage to Lord Lannister? How does Lucien comes in?

Edit: Teaching Nyra and Ali Time Management seems a good ideia. Speaking of spouses do you think Laena has a bonus to getting twins since in cannon she is the only one to give birth to twins?

Do you realize that "family vacations" with Targaryen tend to leave fields of glass and thousands of deaths...
Yes.
Is he going to break his vassalage to Lord Lannister?
He does, but he legally needs your help to do that, otherwise, all his tax money goes to the Lannisters... and they get a taste of it, they will never let go.
How does Lucien comes in?
We own the island on a technicality.

Well, since only Alicent has Fertile because in Canon she had 4 children without any problem, and Nyra doesn't have it because poor Visenya was born dead I don´t think that Laena has it either (since she died in childbirth)...

@Ghost in the sun Another good idea dor the 10th action would be for Lucien to learn how to teach...

But to be sure @Magoose what would be the effects of teaching our wives time management (our kids are a little too young to teach them that stuff), will they get a bonus their rolls? Will they start increasing their skills/learning new ones due to the increase in "free" time? Will our kids get bonus since their moms will spend time with them more efficiently?

all I will say is this:

They will be getting into more adventures off-screen, instead of being solely focused on learning skills.

And more actions will become avalible.

I mean it's isn't exactly a fertility trait but a increased chances of twins, in fact the survival roll should have a malus instead because of twins birth difficulty.

GREEN HOUSES TO MAKE THE HOLY SPICE!! THE S P I C E MUST FLOW!!!

Yeah, we are never actually matching the production of the places that actually grow the spices.

What we DO control is naval access to several valuable ports for most the world. I suggest we eventually get into Banking as well once we have plenty of money since that would give the realm a choice between the Iron Bank or us, meaning actual options for where to shop for loans.

Practically the same plan but instead of learning a skill make sure our kids know dragons aren't pets

I just want to say Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all fellow lovers of the world of Ice and Fire. Winter is here. But may the Gods bless you all with the warmth of home. To the House of the Dragon~!!

So I'm honor of the holidays let's see how the rest of the world:

Or rather the holidays going on in Westeros:

The Faith Holidays:D100 => 96 (As it turns out, religious holidays are a big deals and they are like party animals)
The Valyrian Holidays:D100 => 85 (The Valyrian holidays are really good, though the after parties are not nearly as wild as the faiths. But there ceremonies are much more awesome)
The Old Gods Holiday's:D100 => 12 (They only celebrate when winter ends.)
