And What a Dance it Was (NO SV, War is Coming, Prepare)

Lucien's Bizzare adventures in the Stepstones:
Okay this is going to be doozey.

And it might influcen the Stepstones war, I don't know yet.

Lucien's Bizzare adventures in the Stepstones:

So I did character creation to make Lucien in the game, taking Daemon's place as the badass that wishes to take over the stepstones.

Did a little wizardry to get Grey Ghost as the Dragon, and then went off with the Sea Snake.

And then I remembered Ck2's AI is dogshit and I was entirely on my own with taking over the stepstones.

And boy did things go off to a good stop, with us hitting the beach at sunstone and then immediately getting boat bombed by 30000 Triarchy slave troops.

But, Lucien had a fucking Dragon, so it was even, but... we had one advantage. See we had a few weeks to regain morale, while the boat bombing and disembarkment penalty has a -50 percent morale. Meaning that the boys from the Triarchy got absolutley slaughtered. Esspecially once I deployed the Dragon into battle.

25000 died in the battle of Sunstone, and it set the stage and setting for the remainder of the war.

We siged down all the holdings on the stepstones, while Lucien lead a small force with his dragon to deal with the enemy soldiers. Sure the Stepstones were ruined, but hey, there was little resistance after the first year.

And by the end of the war, I had all the islands.

That's just it right?

WRONG!

See I had the Crab feeder, and i had a very valid reason to feed him to a fucking dragon.

So I fed him to a fucking dragon, piece by piece to Grey Ghost, so that the man suffered the same as his victims.

Then i dished out titles to several people that were in the court. And waited.

Married Several women and decided to take the lustful trait to sleep with every single woman on the stepstones, just because I knew it would be something daemon would be proud of. Plus I just thought it would be funny that all the women want to bed Lucien after he almost singlehandedly liberated the stepstones.

Then the event to invade the Three Daughters prompted. And I ignored it because I wanted to see what might happen.

So a few things happened:

Laenor and Rhaeynera had legitimate children before Laenor died in a tournament, being killed by and I shit you not, Cristian Cole. And then she was betrothed to no one for awhile.

Daemon actually had three kids with Rhae in ten years. So his Bronze Bitch was really being lovely and popping out kids. Same with the White Wrym, she actually gave him two.

Viserys had 2 more kids with Alicent than canon, twins, Jaycen, and Haegon, who replaced Aemmond in this timeline. Both are good kids. At least when they were born, one was attractive, the other got lucky and rolled the strong trait.

Shame both of them ended up as Mad as Aemmond in canon due to their educators giving them paranoid, ruthless and Lunatic.

And then there was the Hightowers: Otto, somehow, managed to get a claim on Hightower, and Viserys plotted with him to take it back, and they did. Otto is Lord of Oldtown.

Oh and I assassinated Dagon because he's a cunt and deserved it, meaning his younger, more virtuous brother is taking over.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
So then we reach this version of the Dance.

Aegon got Clapped by Rhaeynera.... Mostly through my machinations.

Due to me joining, getting lucky and capturing him and his Family when they sieged King's Landing.

And she killed him, but I managed to get his kids so that i can educate them.

And planned my expedition to the Three daughters. to start a new Valyrian empire.

Then my game crashed.

Laenor and Rhaeynera had legitimate children before Laenor died in a tournament, being killed by and I shit you not, Cristian Cole. And then she was betrothed to no one for awhile.
The Incel strikes again!

What happened to him later, btw?

Viserys had 2 more kids with Alicent than canon, twins, Jaycen, and Haegon, who replaced Aemmond in this timeline.
And nothing of value was lost.

Shame both of them ended up as Mad as Aemmond in canon due to their educators giving them paranoid, ruthless and Lunatic.
...Well, nevermind.

Aegon got Clapped by Rhaeynera.... Mostly through my machinations.
I approve!

But seriously, this whole Timeline sounds AWESOME.

What happened to him later, btw?
Didn't pay attention that much, but I think he died of pox.
I really thought that they would do well.

But sadly, they did not.
I mean, lets be honest here, it could be worse.

I could have just decided to put myself on the throne.

Hey at least the Lord Paramount of the Stepstones is a good prize for Lucien.

Yooo...what the f*** was that? I haven't seen soo many horrible rolls in one turn!

I refuse to become Bruce Wayne/Robert Baratheon dammit! I want our parents to grow up and spoil our future children.

[X]Be the Squire: Daemon will need you by his side, and while you were sure he wasn't going to do anything rash… well, there was something you feared he might do. And that was something you needed to be there with.

Even knowing the mystery knight will win, I vote this one simple because I cannot trust us in something so delicate and Daemon seems to have something good in mind...never thought I would want him to succeed.

[X]Be a Mystery Knight: You are skilled enough to be a mystery knight, even though you knew… people would notice. But you didn't care. You were putting a target on your back. For a good cause.

Also who miss out of their sacrifice I for one sacrifice several game save to please the dice lord

Well dad isn't going to be affected by this curse...

So really it's less the Bruce Wayne and more... Lucas McCain (Points for anyone who realizes that reference)

And knowing Dad he might settle down or take the kids with him on voyeges
Even knowing the mystery knight will win, I vote this one simple because I cannot trust us in something so delicate and Daemon seems to have something good in mind...never thought I would want him to succeed.
Daemon having a good plan should be the first warning bell that should go off.

He never has good plans.

The Magoose dice were not please.

At the King’s Court, and Council
At the King's Court, and Council:

(Valaar POV)

Standing before the Small Council. If someone asked you if that would ever happen to you, you would have said no, had three of what the lad was drinking, and then hang yourself. You had enough in your life, dealing with kings, And their children. Even with one now, as these years pass, being now part of it. Again.

Viserys was rather joyful in his look, and he was happy, even with his mind drifting elsewhere. The rest of his council was here, but they were drifting out in the background. Lyonel Strong was perhaps the only one who seemed to understand how uncomfortable you were.

And Otto. You agreed with Daemon, the cunt was far to… far too ambitious for his own good. He had plenty, same as you. But you had long given up on those dreams as a boy.

You had your family to think about it. There was nothing you could do now, you didn't want to play these lord's Games. Not unless you had to. He and Beesbry held far too much power in this council, and you could foresee many problems occurring from their influence in the future. Especially at this moment in time, when they seemed to be the ones who were… calling this meeting.

Corlys was perhaps the only man you trusted fully here, save for Daemon, but he was neither focused on you nor willing to stand for you now beyond his own report. After all, he may not have liked you, but he disliked your son more.

After all, in his words, that he spoke openly and loudly, Lucien was the reason his wife was not queen.

A great honor, or threat, to whoever heard such things.

Melios was sitting there, waiting to translate for you, as the only member who understood your sign. But he was no help or reassurance. He was only a voice. A voice you would use but was not your own.

You stood straight, having refused to give any man homage, save for the king himself, that had started this well. With annoyed Highborn lords that were clearly not happy with the situation, or rather, your situation.

"The expenses that the Admiral asks for would not have any purpose other than to give us too many ships and not many sailors." Hightower was the first to speak. "Fifty ships are far too much for the crown's current budgetary expenses and His Grace's management. He would beggar the realm if such a project were to be proposed."

You let your hands touch the tables as you narrowed your eyes and glaze over to Hightower. Every discussion with Strong pointed to the crown's flowing surplus, that the current budget could account for 200 without even going into the money saved in the Treasury!

"Lord Strong says otherwise." The Sea Snake started as he finally spoke. "And with the growing threat of slavers and pirates-"

"What growing threat?" Lord Hightower interrupted. "The Pirates of the Stepstones have been destroyed, the Eastern cities do not threaten the waters of the Narrow Sea in the numbers that they do thanks to the Admirals" He pointed to you as if to support his own words, "constant patrols? Lorath and Pentos have sent numerous representatives of thanks for trading compartments that greatly support Lord Vaelyreon's merchant ambitions. The Magistrate of Pentos himself, even offered Valaar 1 million dragons to turn his sail, and he refused three different times before his agent could kill him."

You were certain that someone planted that agent, but it wasn't Hightower… as much as you hated the man, it wasn't his style, cloak, and dagger assassination. No, he would rather inflate his ego with an execution where he could receive the credit. And you were very careful to document all your doings, to make sure the man didn't launch an investigation into you.

You were untouchable by legal means. And that infuriated him.

You looked to Melios and he saw your angered face. "The Admiral wishes to speak." He stated, and the entire room became quiet. There were no chuckles this time. They would not forget the mistakes of that insult when you first came into this chamber.

"Most expeditions that are chartered by myself and my crews are very taxing, on my crews, and my ships. Two of them nearly sank in the Blackwater and had to be ferried back to Driftmark for repairs." You started. "Two more sank, luckily the crew was rescued with all hands."

You leaned forward and pointed to the Master of Ships. "Lord Valyreon was quite a blessing on the ships, and for allowing his port to be used for repairs. But there is a problem that he could not address in his reports."

Corlys knew what was going on now. Your gambit. "But the pirate activity hasn't lessened as you feared, we are seeing a marked increase of the attacks on our shipping lanes. From all Free cities, even Braavos."

"Braavosi corsairs, on the narrow sea." Lord Beesbry was entirely convinced that you were taking the piss. "Surely he jests."

"It is no jest." The signs were clear as day, and when translated, the room fell silent. "His Grace would do well to strengthen his foothold, and be the one who dictates the Narrow Sea, for if he fails, it will mean far more than the loss of profits from a few houses."

"What could be lost?" Hightower asked.

"Everything." The single word was the bell that signaled your departure. The tides were turning. You had to leave. "For if you lose the sea, what makes you think the land can hold?"

Perhaps your son was rubbing off on you, with his flair for the dramatic.

You doubted it. But you bowed. And left.

You needed to go home. Visanya had sent a letter, requesting your assistance with something.

You couldn't leave her waiting.

Guy prepare the sacrifice I believe some very bad thing will happen if the dice is not please.
Well I'm not saying that I have plots going on in the background...

But I do. And this event you are going through it not the most important thing going on for the Fate of Westeros.

Also the Sheet has been updated.

If i missed something... let me know.
Well, we should be at Master Level with Dragonrider

And despite being "Skilled" in Horse Riding we have the +30 bonus of "Master", so I think either the level of the skill is wrong, or th bonus is wrong.
Hopefully without causing a diplomatic incident.
Why do I have the feeling that this is why Daemon will be disinherited as Visesrys heir...
Daemon having a good plan should be the first warning bell that should go off.

He never has good plans.
To be honest and given the setting, stabbing the mage several times before he/she can use any spell on you seems like the best approach when dealing with mages or priests in ASOIAF...
But I do. And this event you are going through it not the most important thing going on for the Fate of Westeros.
Yeah, but for Lucin is probably the most important thing in his life, because for him it is personal.
Even knowing the mystery knight will win, I vote this one simple because I cannot trust us in something so delicate and Daemon seems to have something good in mind...never thought I would want him to succeed.
Well, his plan is to kill the fucker before he can strike a our family, and our plan here is basically being the bait...

Plus, if we roll well enough we can probably take both Horse Riding and Jousting all the way up to Master...

Will fix soon.

Darnit, changed the wrong one.

you mean he wasn't already?:V

Well there is the fact that we have a lot more options that are quieter...

Stealthier.

Won't cause cities to hate Westeros.
Yeah, but for Lucin is probably the most important thing in his life, because for him it is personal.
Daemon: For you, it was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was a Tueseday.

We'll get to that.

How's our favorite knight Ser Criston Cole doing and this totally isn't related to the recent episode nooo sir? :V

Tonight on dateline, Catching Ser Criston Cole with a raven seemingly addressed from the Princess of Dragonstone herself. After this, just who is The Silent Dragon really and what are his prospects at the tourney? Stay tuned to find out and more, all at Redkeep Rumors.

A sellsword from The Dornish marshes. He earned his spurs as a raider for Lord Dondarians Lightning Men who strike at Dornish forces whenever they Mass near the boarder.

He like many other knights here are brilliantly battle hardened and they have many chances to earn glory and fame.

But this new King has put a stop to the raids, and ordered Lord Baratheon to punish any who continue them. Leaving many men jobless and without a master.

So he wanders tourney to tourney winning glory and money but nothing more.
Maybe he's taking over Daemon's Canon Role of trying to creep on/groom Rhaenyra. Would be right up his alley.
No.

Daemon still creeps on Rhaenyra but he's not wanting to have sex with her. He is trying to teach her the dangers of men like him and how even those closest to her can betray her if she allows herself to get careless.

He's also trying to Push Lucien on her because at this point we're looking like the most eligible bachelor in Westeros.
If going by Book Cole? Very possible. Though Show Cole seems different. Really depends on Magoose.
Cole isn't even near the red keep yet…

He still does not have his chance to show off and fuck Daemon yet… but soon

I need more of this.

Interesting background Coles got. If anything like the show then I might even consider having him join Lucien service. Lucien is a prince now so needs some men/knights to show off and earn glory with. Just so happens knights from the Marshes need employment. :V

I need more of this.

In Breaking News, just learned that the Princess Of Dragonstone was just in Fleabottom with none other than Harwin Strong the Master of Coins son and heir!! Will it lead to anywhere? Find out after talking about the meeting at the Gods woods between the Silent Dragon and the Hands Daughter, all at Redkeeps Rumors!!

He's far more like the book then he is the show:

A man who is a thug who is, instead of making all the right choices to make himself happy and whole, instead chooses the wrong ones, spiraling down a self destructive path that he does not even know he's on.

All he wants is to have a purpose.

But unfortunately his wish for purpose will make the realm bleed.

Edit: he would never work for us, for the simple fact that he is after a white cloak.

Lucien: You know they are speaking treason right?

Daemon: I don't care it's entertaining as hells.

Shame to hear. Nothing wrong with wanting purpose. Just making dumb decisions.

Well Lucien was able to help Daemon so who knows? Maybe Lucien can help Cole be a True knight? Never too late to change

Lucien: You have the skill Ser Cole. Now just need the true honor of being a knight. I believe in you.

Cole:.....I'm gonna make him king One Day.

:V

How's Saera doing being queen of volantis? How does the triarchy view Volantis under the rule of a Dragonlady, even if she doesn't have dragons? Where in the world is Maelor Rivers?
