I still want to propose the other way around:
Viserys: "Dear. For so long have we traveled, fought and lived side by side and I want to go a step further."
Lya: "What do you mean?"
Viserys: "Lya. Will you give me the honor to rule this plane with me together, as husband and wife? In good times and in bad? Both when breaking the laws of gods and nature?"
"Join me (in marriage) and we can rule the world together!"

@DragonParadox, would the Preerless Empire be terribly cross with us if we sacrifice a few Efreeti to pur pagan gods?
Genies have 2 taboos we should avoid, binding genies into servitude/slavery, and stealing wishes from genies, outside of that we can do what we want with Efreeti, and they will look no more badly at us, than if we do it to other evil beings.

I'm still aiming to get our hands on a Balor or a Pit Fiend and stealing their wish organ one day.

Also, @Azel you'd be very interested in this, DP has confirmed that Baator has been turning souls into pure XP (for the purposes of XP-extensive spells and rituals) for years. We could probably get that kind of intel out of the Uniila and start doing it to other fiends we capture.

So you want to empower Viserys by eating the distilled essence of fiends?

Sold. Fund that project.

I've by the way stumbled over a picture of our dear @Duesal.

Maybe we could also eat Tiamat's wyrmlings and steal their Mindblank or Prismatic Breath.
The first one we get is slotted as a Meraxes sacrifice in hopes of making it her Living Avatar in the world.

Yep. Bring on all the neat permanencies!

I plan on doing this to every other Companion as well. :p

I would rather feed them to the OG or Yss. Let another deity take that energy and process it. There is too much chance Tiamat could do bad stuff to us with her power sitting in our stomach.

Did anybody check to see if the largest of these demon blooded spiders happens to be oh I don't know where maybe even spell casters?

We should send down a flying summons to attack in its own strafing run to see how they attempt to counter it do they use acid spit, do they use some kind of web shot, are there some down there that are actually aware and can use magic themselves or spell like abilities?

Why are people talking about the red dragon wyrmling like allowing any of them to come into existence on our planet isn't anything except for a complete fucking disaster waiting to happen?

Meraxes. They are perfect for Meraxes.

Just as snakes (and any particularly powerful spiders) are perfect for Yss, and the Old Gods will shower us with gifts for Undead and Winterborn, and the Merling King is begging us for Deep Ones sacrifices, Meraxes will give us the most for a dragon sacrifice.

Good point.

@Goldfish, could you send a flock of ravens down there so that we can see what tricks these things got up their sleeves? They might be able to spit webs, cast spells or have other nasty surprises.

They already exist. Tiamat made some over in the lands of the Jhogos Nai.
We are talking about what to do with them when we tracked them down.

I think we need to try to convince DP to go ahead and retroactively give Viserys the Robes of Mysterious Conjuration upgrade that we paid for and had enchanted the turn before last.

Ravens might do the trick, but a summoned Bralani or Janni would be better, IMO. Now that we have Arcane Spellsurge, it becomes more practical, from the action economy PoV, to bust out summons mid-battle.

[X] Plan "When in doubt...BIRDS!"
-[X] Viserys uses the Staff of the Old Gods to send an unkindness of ravens into the midst of the spider horde to gauge their reactions and any unexpected abilities they might possess.
--[X] If nothing unusual occurs, Viserys descends close enough to ground level so that he can target the monstrous spiders with Firebrand (normally 270 feet maximum range, now varies between 250 and 300 feet due to Wild Magic) while the others wait.
---[X] He first targets the larger spiders with a Searing, Agonizing, Firebrand as a Swift Action, then follows with a Searing, Merciful Firebrand, targeting those same spiders, if necessary, or smaller stragglers if not.

Neat side effect:

Viserys: "Hey Old Gods, look at what we're going to feed you!"
Old Gods: "GET US OUR WIDE PANTS."

They said she needed her priests and priestesses to do some shit first along with the golden company actually taking out their target before she could create any Red Dragon wyrmling. Isn't all that she has right now are those Drake's with Prismatic breath?

I'm more than a little tempted to find the source of the wild magic and see if we can feed it to Yss. But more importantly, we really do need to get rid of it. That's going to get in the way of the sacrifice transportation.

No, she already made a few and even equipped them with permanent Mindblank to make it harder for us to murder them.

I suspect that the building is a broken facility to channel magic. The wild magic is just the result of the mechanisms no longer functioning correctly, but still well enough to warp the local magic.

Translation: We are so looting this building.

This. There are currently four Red Dragon Wyrmlings (that we know of), all of whom have been gifted by Tiamat with a permanent Mind Blank that will persist until they're no longer wyrmlings. We know one of them has been hanging around with the Golden Company and have no intel on the other three. We also know that the Tiamat Clerics have been doing two irregular divinations every day on whether or not they'd be attacked, which made planning anything concrete against them a massive pain. This situation should change with the addition of Mind Blank items to our hoard, though. That dragon in the Golden Company is the top priority.

Oh, absolutely. I'm looking forward to it.

We should include how we want to proceed if nothing too unusual happens, otherwise it's going to be a two paragraph chapter.
