Shit. What was she planned to be doing at this point? The wrights?

Also, kinda nice that Bronn thinks Viserys is invincible. Wrong, but flattering.

If Lya's not getting the XP then it should definitely go to Viserys. The quest was for Lya and Viserys to begin with.

I really want the other PCs to get levels more than Viserys tbh.

Our wand of infinite dispels must be fed XP :D

Look at the trophy collection. We've killed and stuffed things that could lay waste to a city.

Yep, and that is awesome :D. Like, super awesoem. Still not invincible though, and Bronn thinking he is is... weird? disconcerting?

The other PCs happen to be assigned to Sothoryos for more than a week where they'll reap plenty of XP. Bottomline, this quest was specifically for Viserys and Lya. Since Lya's at home, that XP is Viserys'.

Until a year ago, the elite of the realm and the gold standard for strong fighters was a lvl 5 Fighter in shiny armor as far as he knew.

Now look at what Viserys does and how a full cavalry charge of Vale knights would go against him.

Reasonable point, but not my preference. *shrugs* nbd. :)

Anyway, can we add merciful to searing, agonizing blinding/dispelling breath and use it as a Flyby Attack (Monster) – d20PFSRD with a 50ft cone? That should knock out a lot of spiders, and, in the lingering fires, none of the fiend-spiders will die due to their immunity to the mundane fires set by our breath.

Single target spells are a bad idea against a massed cavalry charge.

Just use Firebrand to set everything on fire and to divide the attackers into crispy chaff and worthy sacrifices.

I mean, if you wanna be all killy about it, yeah. Walls of stone and greater stone shape to corral them and then be disappointed at their foolishness until we point them at monsters. :D

I actually ended up asking DP about a mass-turtling spell. He said we could research it in the epic levels if we wanted.

BP is a short ranged single target 5th level spell. I can't see a one target per level/two levels, max distance between any two targets is 30ft being more than level 7 or eight (though having the max distance of affected targets be bigger might be worth going high level 8 or level 9).

And Lo and Behold! The Great Dragonking, Archsorcerer Viserys strode forth against the champions of lower planes, foul ithilid, servants of the Others, and so many more, that had gathered to end him. And in a calm voice, that echoed from valley to mountain to sea, one word was spoken, with power that shook the earth and air; "Turtles."

The above is of course nonsense. The first thing Viserys would do is Arcane Spellsurge, Timestop, and then cast buffs and that short-lived contingency spell that I can never remember the name off to cast mass BP when out of Time-stop and True-casting and mass bp.
And if we have party members with us, (greater*) celerity and (True casting and) mass bp.

*depending if DP decides on the shitty RAW version that is at best worth a level 6 spell, or the much nicer version that I thought it was back in the day, that is totally worth an eight level spell.

Before I forget @Azel, @Goldfish @Duesal

DP kind of either intentionally gave us all the information we needed and hoped we would put two and two together, or shot himself in the foot.

He said that Tiamat could bear her entire focus upon a single subject enough to pierce through even a Mindblank. That means that another deity could, too, or at least fiat-backed guarantee is viable if empowered, possibly through sacrifice, or maybe just by being tied to the right power source (Leyline?)

That means we could probably use one of our divine allies to locate them one by one.

Their sacrifices shall be grand.

I bet Meraxes would be thrilled to help after we feed her the first dragon.

@Duesal Just a warning, we learned that OG aren't good for boons or rewards that aren't based around geographic jurisdiction of where their Heart Trees extend.

So if they don't have coverage of a location, they hold no power over it. Given how mobile these wyrmlings are, that makes it unlikely they're able to do more than empower an artifact that might help us locate them indirectly, since that is something they have power over.

Yss might be able to swing it, but if we're planning on giving one to Meraxes as a living avatar, maybe it she would have more incentive to use what power she might gain if we sacrificed to her to locate one of them for us. Since the rewards from such would be going right back to her. What do we get? An enemy off the table, and a living god who owes us a big favor... and which immediately forms a counter-bloc to Zherys' Mysterium if he should be so wise as to keep on our good side.

I mainly felt Meraxes would have the biggest motivation to help out since she's one of the original Old Bloods who overthrew the empire of Tiamat's children. She'd be downright thrilled to hunt down the resurgence of Tiamatspawn, and we can empower the efforts with sacrifice if need be.

I admit i sometimes forget the spell is actually baleful polymorph, and not turtlify.

We never use It for anything else, by this point we might actually be shaping the weave and creating an entirely new spell just through repeated use.

Edit: maybe we can get it as metamagic? Turtlifyng breath ho!

I still say the world could use a Watcher in the Night or two these days. I'd be fine with it as long as it was post-takeover of Volantis which is very much will be away.

We have a very very important question (well group of questions) to ask her, and I don't want to miss any opportunity, though I don;t think it's one we should ask until we know her better (and more politely worded):

"Why in the name of fucking sanity did you go full god? Did you make the decision before your apotheosis, or did was it an inevitable change after taking the first step on the ladder? Did your views on going full god change after you made the first step on the rung if you were intending to continue as that mode of existence?
Edit: Like... why did that seem like a good idea?
I think this business of giving Meraxes a living avatar is far too hasty.

Totally wanna learn more first, maybe take her out for an interview over coffee and see what she's about. Her priesthood probably aren't the best influence tbh.
