DP confirmed there is no size conflict, the mechanic is too much of a pain in the ass to mess with and there's little fucking point in doing so because it just adds to the logistics of item crafting for no reason at all.

Also, why doesn't Richard's VS armor have DR?

Weren't the properties of the metal similar to that of Adamantine? Presumably meaning it could cut right through shit if it holds an edge or resist being cut if it's made into armor.

Also, VS armor was mentioned as having spell resistance for sure in the lore we've gathered for it, but I don't think that's reflected in the Armor of Remembrance.

Just checked. It is not reflected in it.

That armor in general should have more material properties that VS is said to possess but doesn't for it to really qualify as the Minor Artifact it is. It's kind of underwhelming otherwise, @DragonParadox.

...point.

Spoilsport :p

Anyway, once we finish this, straight to Castle Black and then home? Do we really have enough time for this? We're already 4 days into this quest with 2 days of travel time.

We set aside 10 days for this. If we're 4 days in, that's nearly a week to camp out in Bloodraven's digs. Though my guess is we'll get done days before our deadline, since I doubt Brynden wants us stinking up his tree bachelor pad for more than a couple of them.

@Duesal did you add questiond about Dragonstone, Red keep, and Raventree hall weirwood (House blackwood), to the list? :)

Kindof want to slave leash the Warlock granting... being... to our cause so if Myrcella manages to she'll be an unknowning double agent! Haha!

Yeah, I am SUPER mad about that. People can make excuses for him all they want. "Consider his position." "He's hedging his bets." "He wants tangible proof of our alliance now that he lost the marriage route."

We fucking GAVE him all the magic he has. Velen alone is responsible for teaching pretty much all the Dornish mages. The Lampad, too, cost us more than I care to mention right now. :rage:

And now, instead of a proper exchange like actual allies, we're completely cut off from Dorne until we get Elia.

EDIT: Ultimately, Tyene is worth all this pain and more, but holy hell this is infuriating.

While we're on theme and I have some maybe allies.

This is exactly the issue I had with Braavos and the Eye.

Charge us for our own IP? Goddamn Braavos we get it, you like profit.

Air/Positive Energy makes a surprisingly good Vampire-expy with her abilities and healing. Though Negative would be the same in those respects.

And there's a surprising amount of spells that can fake further vampiric abilities.
If we ever have reason to infiltrate Undead we could use a nega-Mercy.:D

Air/Negative would be callously capricious rather than simply absent-mindedly whimsical.

So... she would be Mercury?

It is poisonous if you mess with it without proper care.

I hope it's been used in the Bloodwar for so long that it has developed a taste for demon-blood.

That's a way of keeping it happy I'd immediatly jump on.

Hm, now that the scholarium has churned out smiths. How about we put the mooks (lowbies) on infusing Shadow into metals by forging on the grounds. Garin could probably help too.

Also, @DragonParadox would Malays be willing to teach in the Scholarium. Perhaps startoff with Hermetia, Valaena, and Selyse as pupils - add on anyone he is willing, if only valyrians if it is like that.

(Xor should be put on wizard or bard training actions - besides electives in Elysium growing and sanity aberrant embroidery.)

Okay so, I'm confused, @DragonParadox, @TotallyNotEvil?

I went back and looked at Richards last level-ups, but it's all rather scattered. Like there are mentions of him having Dancing Blade Form, but on his sheet all there is would be Disrupting Blow, which was used recently in combat during one of our last encounters. Forget which one precisely.

But for example, it was mentioned in a plan to have Richard strike the Velroc from five feet away, but I didn't hear about it again after that pretty much because he was grappled right after his made his hail may attack on it.

So what are his real maneuvers known? Is the sheet up to date?

(Still think that Iron Heart Focus is good. Sort of fits Richard's "I will shrug anything off through pure force of will" shtick. But I admit Dancing Blade Form is so cool that if we don't have it now, we should maybe get that.)

Edit: I'm an idiot. I missed the stances on his sheet.

It should be up to date. Plan unchanged.

The problem with devil loot being made of cursetanium is because it's part of our loot. It's not an extra that we find, it's part of the expected rewards from defeating the devil.

If we can't use it right away and can't sell it later its just a reminder at the fact we killed a devil and all we got was a useless piece of junk.

I've come to realise we just aren't looting hard enough.

The curse is the loot, we should have studied not how to unravel, but how to replicate each curse we've come across, how to truly hide it in an item like the curses without '???'.

We missed an opportunity godsdamnit, I'm disappointed.

Think bigger.

Curse the Lannisters. Cuts out two steps, and you get to keep perfectly useful reagents to turn into other awesome magical items that aren't impractically double-edged.

While that does make sense I don't think the Lannisters are stupid enough to walk around with cursed items without appraising them first.
