@DragonParadox, can we get around the limitation of not using it in a city by using it in a Godswood? I would love to get some information on SD by that.

We'd probably need the Commune with City spell. Not sure where to find a cleric with the city domain though. :p

Looking at their domain list, they have some pretty flavorful stuff. I like Skyline Runner myself. Don't mind me, just walking on this vertical wall here...

Brravos in a few years - a wildling enters the city, and finds the more that s/he has always yearned for, seeks knowledge and loves the city for being the crossroads, the melting pot. So much life!

Or finds a god with the domain. Don't suppose there's a god of civilization in d&d cosmology?

I doubt there's anything like it in GoT lol.

Edit
It's level 4! Add it to the shopping list and hope we roll high :D

I did propose lining the major streets with Elms, or small Maple trees, and we were going to have small parks. What more were you thinking? We could add some perennial flowering vines...
Rooftop gardens! We can grow useful herbs there, the little valyrians can tend to them.
In fact, the little valyrians probably would Love It if the city has a second foresty level, the rooftop gardens, trees and parks would make them feel right at home.

You know, i dont think we can grow those kind of trees in our island, i think the climate in SD is more subtropical.
however, the following trees are fair game:
They are all however, kinda small, they can be used in parks and main streets, but we will need something bigger for the Monkey's homes.

And, Yes, they all make cleaning the ground a chore.

Not sure how feasible rooftop gardens are. I've been building to anti-hurricane specs, since the description of the Stepstone's weather sounds like they get hurricanes through there semi-regularly, so hipped roofs with minimal overhangs, and excellent drainage have been focuses from the start. A flat roof has drainage issues, particularly in super heavy, driving rain...

There are a few sub-tropical elms and maples. I need to double check the overlap between good streetside maples and sub-tropical maples though, since some maple species have really destructive root systems...

Jacaranda small? I know a few towns firsthand that would like to disagree with you.

Chore is an understatement by the way, you just don't clean up after those things after a point.

I'd like to see plants of pretty much all types, disguise the drainage system with shallowroot and airvines etc.

A few areas of greenery can be difficult, greenery everywhere seems to be a little easier.

E.g. There's always somewhere for the runoff to go because there's always a plant nearby to be watered.

Plants that require a certain climate, partial shade etc can be achieved by planting it in and around other species.
