-[X] Try to find out how "Renly" got to know about your ransom demand. It is quite odd to not have it paid by the liege of your prisoner.

Trying to fish for some intel on Robert.

Didn't we do so at some point? We certainly talked a lot about doing so.

I'm pretty sure @Diomedon had that arranged for us. Arcane marked stones at all the places we wanted to teleport to.

...another consequence of Aurane. We realized we wanted to shuffle around our fleet after we had finished the turn vote, but because Aurane was almost first thing after getting Richard and Vee started on the Armor quest (heh) and giving us more ships, I had thought it best to hold the naval reorg vote until we had gotten those ships, and also not mess up the tally for the turn vote. But then Essaria happened, and Aurane continued to be a thorn in our side and didn't give us any ships and was resolved mostly off-screen from our PoV, so I forgot to prompt DP to let us have the naval reorg vote when were we deciding whether to let Aurane's fleet go home.

We also don't have any Iron/Steel yet, which is our big in with the Summer Islanders. Sending a ship or two to the summer islands would be good, but there is also value in diverting a swan ship coming from the south to SD once the smelter is producing steel, since it doesn't risk any of our ships. Regardless, that should be taken care of when the Xorn pop in.

@DragonParadox it doesn't make much sense at this point narratively, but could we work in a naval reorganization vote as soon as it does?

What title does Viserys have now? Has he officially declared himself King of the Stepstones?
Yep. Official King in the Stepstones.
King in the Stepstones
He also answers to a bunch of other titles that aren't on the front page: Dragon Prince, Dragon King, Dragon Khal (although poor @Goldfish despises this one), the Dragon, etc. It's a very predictable theme.

And there was also that "Godspeaker" title that DP once baited us with.

I'm partial to "Dread Sorcerer". If only to sort of highlight the ridiculousness of some of the worst rumors.

1) Doesn't engage in necromancy, not even academically.
2) When he does rob graves, he puts the grave goods back in the plot when asked to by their ghost.
3) And when he exhumes the body, it's only to breathe life back into it with fist-sized diamonds that belong in any dragon's hoard.
4) Finds burning people alive enmasse distasteful if sometimes necessary.
5) It takes a lot of provoking to get him to the point where he finds that necessary.
6) Seemingly has a lust for gold, treasure and servants on par with dragons... if only he weren't as free with all those things and to the benefit of people he doesn't even know by name.
7) Considers everyone in the world his subject in a roundabout fashion, since everything beneath his shadow is his domain... so everyone is entitled to his protection from the depredations of others.
8) Actually means the above, even if it comes off as an absurd absolutist statement. Manages to make good on it most of the time.

The thing is we're not even sending quite as many mixed messages about being an evil overlord yet... I guess I'll be eating my words when we have legions of black and red full-bodied, face-covered armored soldiers, along with companies of all manner of non-human creatures in mixed armor and brutal looking weapons that wouldn't look out of place on a Narnian battlefield.

Except some of the Narnians are in our army and happily conquering everyone in our name.

By the way, @DragonParadox, can you tell us what class Blight's Bane (triton champion) has along with how many levels? With enough time and diplomancing I'm going to start to consider him a subordinate PC, especially if we later on invest magic items into keeping him alive.

Lets be honest.

We didn't look that Necromancer in Volantis due to the limitations on Teleport :V
We didn't loot him because he was Volantine and unlike Teana we didn't get to spend two dozen updates evaluating his character and subsequently diplomancing him, and the fact that he's a slave owner like most Volantines and a necromancer on top of that would have caused an unbelievable amount of party drama.
