Not really, she was still trying to bring peace in her city, even if she didn't know how.
The marriage to Hizidar is a good proof that she was heavily invested in trying to fix her shit and pay for her mistakes, it was just a really bad idea, not evil.

I agree. Dany's character arc in canon is all about her learning from her personal past. She makes mistake -> she learns a lesson from that mistake -> she makes a new type of mistake. Repeat until she finally gets to Westeros and has her day.

I wonder if we can't see if there isn't anyone in westhaven that might have some ties to Tyrosh Nobility that were too traumatised to step forward to rule the place, but have since recovered. Might be useful.

Also, we need to spend a day talking to alinor about expanding her army in preperation fir Tyrosh. Soon. SD's population is stretching what she has, but we're going to have to rely on our own and Bravossi beauracrats to act as overseers. We can do it when we order a pfe from Lelia for her (lelia can handle the lower enchantments and pfe (and later, healing belts))... Ah, lya can do it at quater discount. Nm.

But we can ask Alinor about the resources she needs for such a thing.

[X] Let Richard handle the situation

What else to do? This will throw a shadow over the talks either way.
I hope that if they duel, they keep it nonlethal.

So is there any actual body of evidence that Garth Greenhand is Renly Baratheon? There haven't been that many interludes with him, and DP makes it a point to be ambiguous in them.

[X] Let Richard handle the situation
-[X] If it comes to a duel ask him not to overshadow the negotiations with a death if possible

[X] Swiftly interject.
-[X] "Recognize my position at once, my Lords, good Ser. This meeting is held with all intent to settle the matter of Lord Stannis' ransom, though it is only here with some degree of certainty those with intent to instigate violence during parley, mind, could not be found. Now, I did say some guarantee."
-[X] "Whether it be over a matter of honor or not, were violence to break out here, it would be squarely upon my head if I did not try my utmost to prevent it. Is crossing blades truly the only means to satisfaction, Ser?"
-[X] "If it is to be so, I must request you both attempt to stay your hands from cutting too deeply."

This is Criston Swygert. Not a canon character, but their house has been mentioned as existing in canon. Their words are "Truth Conquers." That might be an angle to use.

Not really a whole lot of information to work off of here. It seems like it'd be hard to prevent violence from breaking out if someone demands satisfaction. Then it becomes a private matter, which is why Renplacement was as angry as he was. He realizes that it would be a bad play to order him to lay off.

His house words are super ironic considering what he's serving right now.

But anyway, I have a suspicion. Other Renly was created to be the ideal lord in every way, yeah? That would make him chivalrous, handsome, a genius administrator, a silver-tongued statesman, and more relevant to us a peerless warrior and commander. Even if the real Renly wasn't a PC, this one almost certainly is. More than a regular PC at that, this one is probably juiced up to ridiculous levels.

I'm tempted to hammer how convenient it is for Criston to blame the faraway and in disfavor knight for his brothers death instead of his overlords who commanded the men who likely killed him. He didn't even try to discern the truth, but instead immediately laid the blame on Ser Richard. Was he afraid to ask, because the truth might conquer his convenient position?

In certain circles, like those kept apprised of our doings across the Narrow Sea or in the Narrow Sea.

Most of these Knights and Lords do not have Varys whispering in their ears.

No. Just, no.

He's a summer knight. Ser Richard is a blender. I want to see this fight happen! And Richard is fully decked out with gear and buffs, right?
Yeah, this sounds like fun.

[X] Smirk and take a half-step back to face Richard slightly. Let him deal with this. It's his honor, his fight, and our fun!

You need to give this guy credit if he doesn't back out, Ser Richard is in obviously magical armor and wields a flaming sword. It takes a certain kind of bravery/stupidity to challenge that.

The helmet is open enough that someone familiar with him might recognize his face of they look carefully.

Alright. I suppose he had some points invested in spot. If he wants to pick a fight with the guy armored in sacrificed fiends he is welcome to do so.

Also, how does Richard cover his elbows and thighs when using his new armor? He wears chain mail below it?

I'm actually in favor of letting Richard answer now, unless we intend to ask Criston some pointed questions like @Diomedon suggested.

[X] Diomedon

It's classified as segmented reinforced fullplate. Despite the gaps in the armor displayed in the picture, we can safely assume that Ser Richard's entire body enjoys the protection from it.

Look, we can always deliver the verbal beatdown after Richard has delivered the literal beatdown.
We'll heal the poor sucker afterwards, of course. If only so that he's conscious enough to hear us.

It likely has couter and tasset plate pieces, despite the picture used for it.
