After the Gate is sealed there is l no reason to keep him sealed. We could free him or grant him rest. That must be worth something to him.

Also I don't quite get why we can just go and kill everyone and then proceed with whatever we gotta do with the gate.

Killing and spilling blood while a ritual takes place, within this structure ...
 
Real Dragons seem more trouble than they are worth, get one of the Valyria beasts for mobility and scrub work, nothing more is needed for non class leveled threats and we'll take those on ourselves anyway.
 
So - what could we potentially offer the red?
  • Ressurection or reincarnation, whatever works with the wish gem and/or Snek's help
  • An alliance or a job, with us or with Snek
  • A chance for revenge, depending on who cursed him
  • Current info. The world has changed a lot, and dying in this new world is rather easy.
 
So I have a new theory about how magic disappeared from this plane what if the final incantation was cast here but before it could affect the other planes the planes decided to sever the connection making it so that only magic in this plane was lost.

I was more worried about his titles
the Father of Serpents, the Primal Coil, the Sundered God, the Slumbering Speaker
