Gornath is the least likely to interfere when we attack the other cities and taking Sathar secures our alliance with the cities we talked to.

And as a very long shot, dealing with the dead god in either Sarnath or Kasath might solve or migate the problem in the other city, if it is the same power behind both, so we can get one more against Gornath.
Sarnath is almost certainly a void problem. Mellisandre's report mentioned blue corpse flame, and I think we all know what that means.

Aren't y'all pretty quick on deciding this?

Bottom line, we need to decide and vote on what forces we'll move with there, and whom we'll leave on the stand-by to counter any attacks by the other cities, etc.

I'm not arguing Sarnath as the destination, but if we are skipping a chapter where dp will ask us "what forces you move and to where?" we should also include said forces in the vote, no?

Quite possible, but this part
a thing of iron and killing wind, a thing defiled now returned to the Dead Land.
basically means the thing in Sarnath is the thing from Vaes Dothrak (Wall of Iron and Control Wind were literally the only two named abilities used there), so we have to expect some remnant of a dead god there.
Either void-corrupted or not, that I can't say.

"I don't think it's any of those things," Princess Daenerys replied. "I think it's another sort of tomb, the realm of a dead god."
Sounds like a good meal... it's a shame we don't have an Imperial God to feed this too yet, so someone from our budding pantheon will have to do. Maybe the Merling King for a restful death?

Loot and XP! :D

Well the colossus did form in the city's temples; maybe they're getting backing from an undead themed Charnel God of some kind. We saw that something close to (or possibly exactly) that was what caused them rise in the first place, and a CG is basically the closest a god can come to becoming a traditional undead creature so it'd be thematic for them to be worshipping one.

This probably is what The Fifteenth is.

At this point I'm really wondering how Sarnor in general came to unlife.

Isn't it obvious? All the clues are there:

:V

OKay then, what do we have?

Our allied army from Sathar, meaning Undead. In the short look we have seen it looked like they had more animals, monsters and sorcery than the traditional armies of Sarnor.

We have a few mercs, but most of those are water-adapted and no use here.

@Crake wanted to look if he could free up two or three legions?

And we definitly have our airforce available.

The only option I'm not sure about is our Khalasar.

We're going to want to do some scouting of Sarnath before we decide on force distribution. But at the moment, Garnash seems the best place to put the Legion. Tides of the hungering dead are perfect to test them against.

Best leave Rhango and co out of this, bringing Dothraki with us on this one will just piss off the undead.

Yeah. Rhango is not coming anywhere near Sarnor, possibly ever again.
Pretty much, I mean if the place was filled with just mindless undead then we could quite happily just set them lose and tell them "have fun guys", but with two city states we could possible recruit we're going to have to find somewhere else for them to go do their thing.

Yeah, they'll have to make do with different plains. For now they're doing fine in the Disputed Lands.
Honest Corlys' Honest Warforged. 20% off on your next purchase of immortal robotic chassis. Order now and you can get a Tree, free!
Not immortal, unfortunately. Warforged in ASOIAF die of old age. In his first life Anu experienced aging problems, like slowly losing eyesight and strength. It's pretty weird. I'm not sure how that works with a magical robot.

They forgot to include rust proofing in the design.
