@Goldfish
Could get Rhaella as well as Kira into Song and Glories. Out of everyone, she has the most in-depth knowledge of Westerosi culture, how to influence such.

Rumours do matter. The better they are, the less pointless blood spilled.

Do we care?

No, really.
They are bad PR for someone who knows diabolical, yes.

But nothing else.
DP stated that no side-effects happen, and lets be honest, most magical rituals would be equally as strange.

I say spread them as is.
Leaving an open metaphysical connection to hell alone seems unwise.

Don't forget we need to make a Diplomacy organization. I'd have Rhaella, Tyene, and Malarys work on that.

Also, @Goldfish, don't forget you have Wyla available as well. She can probably free Dany up for returning Laenor Targaryen to life.
I have Tyene going to Yi-Ti and Malarys dealing with the Goblin Market in Lys. He's also helping us in Sothoryos.

Wyla isn't a Researcher, though. She can only do Intrigue and Diplomacy actions.

EDIT: Rhaella and Kira could start working on the Diplomatic Corps, though.

Got anywhere in mind for them to do their thing?

Okay, then I'd table the Diplomacy Organization for this month. That's something that Malarys really should be there for.

As for Wyla... @DragonParadox, it makes zero sense for her not to be a researcher. She is a wizard, she developed her own ritual to get rid of her vampirism, and when we made deals with her one of her conditions was access to our library.

Malarys might be helpful, but he's not necessary to get it started. Rhaella and Kira both would be excellent choices to start forming a Diplomatic Corps, IMO.

I agree that Wyla should be a Researcher, @DragonParadox. She could help Dany with figuring out how to Resurrect Laenor Targaryen, for sure.

@Goldfish, mind adding this to "Events"?
[] Under the Boiling Sea: Scry for the Char Serpent swimming through molten sea of Plane of Fire
-[] As a result of his anti-divination protections being overcme by scrying, hunters will rush towards it. Counter-ambush them.

I'm less uncomfortable leaving this lie than Vizier's convoy or the Mine, but at least we dictate when and whare hunters will try to attack Char-snek.

The realm is too fledging for a diplomatic corps in my eyes. And what would you have them do? Neighboring polities are on 'annex' (military action), convince to join (Viserys), or foster trade agreements (Viserys or other PC).

This is an issue with the ruleset. No one under lvl10 can possibly be as good as Viserys in talking with people. PCs make the decisions, the waves, NPCs follow.

Prefer sending PCs on diplomatic actions as-needed, not like we have too many.

How are we setting this up basically?

Is this an educational thing or a government office?

One used to churn out people with diplomacy, or one used as an official institution to grant diplomats negotiating power/rights.

Or both?
It's a government office. This is the diplomacy equivalent of the Inquisition.

I'm equally annoyed, but we were told by DP that we need it, so here we are.

I can think of a few uses...

Mostly staffing, communication, and resource distribution ones.

Not every office holder in the imperium is Viserys, it would be nice if they could ring a diplomat if they need one.

I am having trouble understanding how they would be similar to the inquisition. Could you give an example?

We have no low level diplomatic interactions, that's the issue. Every single one is important and must be handled with our very best. What is worse, the various extraplanar and fey polities would cheerfully dismiss random mortals, either for lack of power, or lack of weight.

Okay, so we have any actions we can do to prepare for war with the Deep Ones? I'm starting to get antsy on that front. Do we have a way to mass produce scrolls of Cerulean Seal? Or what about followup on our Gith outreach?

@Somebody Cerulean *Sign is as powerful as the mage using such. The very worse effect of such is Stun and random scrolls would not give us that.

Spell is meant for ambush and preparing a location with battle in mind. Does not actually accomplish anything on its own.

As for the Gith.. they got sent a letter. Perhaps some more effort is necessary.

To make living equipment first you have to make more Feeders
Could we have an action to also summon and study a Angel, Cassisian – d20PFSRD having a second kind of living equipment, should make the living equipment research easier.
Mid-term, I expect our harvesting setup to be copied, so, as we are the first doing it, it would be prudent to set up competitive shares.
The Fire Whales are quite nice and don't have that many needs outside protection, I don't think we need to pricematch competitors, as long as their share is enough to hire the protection, they need to be safe from Whalers, I don't think they would choose to work with another company, regardless of if that company offered them better rates.

@DragonParadox How many dice do Velen get towards the Gem Harvesting action? If there's no chance of him completing it this month, I want to see if we can't add a second person to working on it.

With the prototypes being built this month and the additional enchantments layered on them next month, we now have a pretty damn fast air-force. Together with our new printing presses, this gives us... options... Let us thus call this:

Operation Fuck Everyone Equally
For this lovely little project, we merely need a decent number of flyers, bearing political caricatures that even the illerate peasant would get. These are then loaded into the bomb bays of our anti-grav fighters, who will then fly cloaked over Westeros and drop them on major population centers. Easy and cheap propaganda, and boy will some of those people flip out when seeing this.

Here are my ideas so far with description of the picture, text and the areas to drop them in.

1. The Warlock of the West
Description: The picture shows Tywin Lannister sitting on the Rock. In his hands is a small person in robes, standing for a mage, to which he wants to affix a collar with chain. Nearby stands a huge cauldron with many makes chained to it and reluctantly tending to it. In it bubbles a repulsive liquid, with bones and skulls being seen inside, and it splashes goop all over the Westerlands, with a large glop landing square on Lannisport.
Caption: "They will do as they are told."
Locations: Lannisport, Kayce (trade harbor), Crakehall (trading city on the Ocean Road)

2. Thirst
Description: Tywin Lannister and Robert Baratheon loom over the Red Mountains, looking down at Drone. Both of them carry a goblet from which Robert drinks, while Tywin holds his one down to Gregor Clegane, who stands there and lets the blood running from a peasants severed head drip into the goblet.
Caption: "We will get our fill!"
Locations: Sunspear, Hellholt, Godsgrace

3. Bartering
Description: Mace Tyrell sitting on Highgarden. At his feet are groups of peasants, bound together by twine like bales of hay, and bags of money. To his right stand Tywin Lannister and Robert Baratheon, extending bags of money to him. To his left is a demonic looking creature, holding two bundles of peasants.
Caption: "There is plenty more you can have!"
Locations: Oldtown, Honeyholt, Highgarden, Tumbleton, Golden Grove, Ashford

4. Important Matters
Description: Robert Baratheon sits in a tavern hall, which is richly festooned in hunting trophies and with various frippery. He is busy ogling a whore that fills his wine cup. Behind his back, Cersei sits on the Iron Throne and has the torments various people with sorcery and laughing at them, while a few of the people in the hall are dragged away by demonic figures reaching out of the shadows. Beneath them all, there is a scene of starving peasants knifing each other in the streets.
Caption: "What could be more important then this?"
Locations: Kings Landing, Duskendale, Dragonstone

5. The Great Rulers
Description: A large picture of the whole Riverlands, with three giants standing on it, their steps having left deep craters in it. One can only see the legs of the giants, but they are clearly marked by the house sigils of Tully, Lannister and the Crowned Stag. Meanwhile, the peasants and lords look upward in fear for where the giants will step next.
Caption: "The dance of the high lords."
Locations: Riverrung, Saltpans, Maidenpool, Harrenhall, Seaguard

6. Absent
Description: A depiction of the Vale, with the Eiryi in the center. Upon it stands and empty chair. Around it, both Andals and Hill Folk are locked in combat with Demons and Devils.
Caption: "Everyone for himself."
Locations: The Eiryi, Gulltown

7. No Help Coming
Description: A depiction of the North, including the Wall. There is a massive breach in the Wall and wights pour forth from it while the Night Watch, aided by what is clearly Legionnaires under the Targ banner, is trying desperately to stem the tide. To the south, Jon Arryn, Hoster Tully, Tywin Lannister and Robert Baratheon stand opposite of Ned Stark. Robert clutches a Targ banner and is clearly yelling at Ned.
Caption: "How dare you to let my enemies in?"
Locations: Winterfell, White Harbor
For reference as to what the plan was....
