Which is a very hollow victory when Lucan can in fact get the peasantry roused against us and we get into a Vietnam situation where we have to keep genociding the population.
My continued issue is that we are unable to reach the masses in Westeros while having to accept that our enemies can do so trivially. The whole "Rhaella is proof of devilry!"-plot hinges on that very idea, that they can spread whatever bullshit they want and we can't do anything to counter it.
That is a desperation ploy by devils, there is a reason it is a contingency upon the pleasure devil's death or failure. Most peasants do not acualy give that much of a damn about Rhaella being alive or dead. To quote canon the smallfolk pray for good harvests and a summer that never ends.

If we can talk to the Mother and get her on side that would do some very interesting things in Westeros. Would love to hear her thoughts about what's going on. The Mother being very quiet and no champion could be an opportunity.

Our problem is our enemies are the rulers, the church and others who are established authorities on Westeros. Therefore their ability to spread propaganda and counter our propaganda on Westeros is better just because they have way more resources on the ground.

To expand on the above it's not talk of undead queens that would scare the smallfolk, really truly terrify them into mobs like in Maegor's day, its the notion that whatever sin of the week Viserys is said to have committed will make the seven wroth, it will make fruit rot on the vine and children be born with two heads. The long term solution to that is to give them food, give them healing, show them the the world is not going to end, the short term solution is to get your own septons (and singers and lords for that matter) talking about who you are not the the devil himself.
Your position is actually getting better propaganda wise from a combination of Bloodraben's efforts, your own propaganda efforts and the various loyalist lords putting their reputation on the line for you.

Oh, them? It's not a problem we can't deal with. They'll be coming into conflict with the Lannisters soon enough, and I want to recruit a few of those angels if we can. Unlike Baelor they aren't unacceptably dangerous.
Well that was ritual magic, but not very taxing as far as it went, Mantarys was working on a shoestring budget at the time. It'd say it would be costly to mass-produce propaganda with that effect, but not impossible.
