Which is a very hollow victory when Lucan can in fact get the peasantry roused against us and we get into a Vietnam situation where we have to keep genociding the population. No of course not you guys can and have used the lies other people told about you to leverage trust in just that manner. Every time you brought a lord to SD to show them around the lack of demons and blood drinking trees has helped your case.

My continued issue is that we are unable to reach the masses in Westeros while having to accept that our enemies can do so trivially. The whole "Rhaella is proof of devilry!"-plot hinges on that very idea, that they can spread whatever bullshit they want and we can't do anything to counter it.
His extremism is driving away other chosens.... Is there any reason why we haven't scry and died Lucan yet?
The Old Gods can suck his God-powers so that theFather gets weakened too.
Our problem is our enemies are the rulers, the church and others who are established authorities on Westeros. Therefore their ability to spread propaganda and counter our propaganda on Westeros is better just because they have way more resources on the ground. My continued issue is that we are unable to reach the masses in Westeros while having to accept that our enemies can do so trivially. What TNE said. He's the Seven's Cersei. Him being in charge does good things for us.
We're kind of busy. It's not that we're ignoring them, we just haven't gotten to them.

I will forever be thankful for him summoning Baelor. That was a very, very useful sacrifice. He is slowly losing his usefulness after the angel situation. At this point I think a smear campaign might be necessary. We have Inquisitors in Kings Landing correct? Maybe that could be their action this month?
I was talking about the whole "angels came down and saved a priest" situation. Baelor was a good meal.I will forever be thankful for him summoning Baelor. That was a very, very useful sacrifice.
Can we go to our Sept to learn more about the Seven and maybe contact the Mother? Get our version of the Seven out and support it.
Indeed, but it's just so frustrating that after all those years, we still can't offer any meaningful resistance to these smear campaigns.@Azel
On the positive side, once we've actually taken Westeros and have boots and ears on the ground in every town and village our ability to control the public opinion will by far exceed what the current authorities there can do now.
Oh, them? It's not a problem we can't deal with. They'll be coming into conflict with the Lannisters soon enough, and I want to recruit a few of those angels if we can. Unlike Baelor they aren't unacceptably dangerous.I was talking about the whole "angels came down and saved a priest" situation. Baelor was a good meal.
Wait. Stop the presses.
@DragonParadox, one of the Archons wrote us a book that it written in True Speech, allowing everyone, even the illiterate, to read it.
What do we need to do to apply this effect to a regular page of text?
If we could make that work with the Arcane Printing Presses...Wait. Stop the presses.

The plan, if I recall, was to make multiple version of the faith as to make them less capable of acting.
@Goldfish, how much did we calculate in cost per broadsheet? Something like 1 IM for 50 or so?Well that was ritual magic, but not very taxing as far as it went, Mantarys was working on a shoestring budget at the time. It'd day it would be costly to mass-produce propaganda with that effect, but not impossible.
