Yeah, pretty much.

Besides, two points:
1) If I knew my parents actively deleted the possibility of me having the Draconic template or being outright Half-Dragon (especially the good HD we use), I'd feel hella cheated.
2) It's the absolute height of hypocrisy for us to not want to "have draconic children" when we are playing a dragon.

If literal Angels can be taught to be pragmatic and literal Devils to be empathic, in just a few short months of sporadic contact at that, it's ridiculous to say our own kids would grow up evil or chaotic or whatever it is.

Point of order, I don't want to do this. Neither do I fear any "dilution".

The goal is to make the kids stronger, not weaker.

Well, a lot of the people I recall wanting to actively delete draconic bits because they find them undesirable. You missed the edit.

We likely wouldn't be getting anything a normal conception wouldn't already, we can fix the dice through Lya's PrC.

And like I said, I don't think a couple extra stat points is worth risking the metaphysical aspects.

I agree with you 100%.
However, I wouldn't describe the devils as empathetic. They've been led to understand that sometimes it isn't a problem, sure. But spontaneously prove empathetic themselves?
Nah.

Nah.
That they are still mostly something-pathic doesn't change that some have come to understand empathy at least a little bit. That's what counts.

Considering they are one of thousands, millions or billions of years old and have been pumped with literal Evil the entire time, it just goes to highlight the point.

Yes, but that is only if the observer is looking at the cloaked and spell-baned person from 10 ft away. The range on spell-bane is not great.
Hmm, although I'm disappointed that the tactic won't work, I think that ruling sets a nicely abuseable precedent for us being able to use a lot more magic against targets protected by an AMF. :drevil:

We would get Lya's body fully capable of combat?
I mean, one of many, but if that particular body is protecting the tank with children, it will have much more success doing so unburdened, than if it was used for a regular conception, no?

So, in your own words: What is it with you complaining about people complaining about conquest just an hour after you said how much joy the destruction of a city would bring you :V
To be fair, this is the reaction of mine to any possibility to wreak muss-destruction and/or murder countless people.
WHY IS IT SO HARD TO GET A SHOT AT THIS REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

In general, my attitude towards them is the same it is as to any magical being of significant power that lies outside our spehre of influence - it is something we need to deal with, eventually, but not now, no. And the way we wil ldeal with them kinda depends on how much are they willing to play ball with us going all-out on world-domination which is, in fact, shaping up to be the only reasonable way to bring the shitshow Planetos is to any sort of order.

I merely think that a controlled environment has much better odds of not messing something up then rolling the dice by impregnating a all-lores Lya body.

And I wanted to make sure that people understand that Iron Womb and Delete Dragon are not the same positions. I'm strongly for the former and strongly against the latter.

Alright, I'm feeling ready to post my crownlands nobility chart. There's going to be a lot of blank spots, as most of the canon information is centered around the Narrow Sea houses and ones directly around KL, and although I added in some OCs, that's going to be a project in and of itself. I'm excluding Crackclaw Point from the chart because it's geographically and politically isolated from the rest of the region (and because it's another dozen houses with zero canon info).

@DragonParadox - do you want me to show you the chart in a PM first?

  • [X] Plan Making Lists
-[X] Send Garin and Wyla to Braavos to talk with the Sealord and coordinate a response to this.
-[X] Viserys goes back to Lys to hold Aedons hand.
-[X] Rhealla can decide on her own what she and Glyra will be doing in the meantime.

Hey @DragonParadox, what's your policy on using Invisible Spell to make a Fog Cloud invisible to us but visible (and blinding) to enemies with True Seeing?

That's a clever tactic and it works by Raw so I'd say it's usable

Either works for me.
