IDK what prices they paid, tho. But at the stage we are, an affirmation that our chosen path is viable... That's good news. Also, I'd rather see these people go to our craftworld, rather than hole up in Commorragh or something.
based on the existing lore about dryads, it might be you die if you tree does and you cant move more then X feet away from your tree.

They're safe from Slaanesh, but they can't get off their craftworld unassisted (or without carting their trees with them).

Probably best to be going with Sanguinity, the ways that one could go wrong feel less likely than the ways the other two might.

The gunner is already shooting another (more effective) weapon.

If your skimmer is in flamer range, and you're not firing whatever nasty grenades we think up, you've got big problems, and should probably be worried about GTFO the battlefield.
 
Yeah. I get the 'vehicle doesn't want to get that close' arguments. It's just that there was a number of arguments (or they at least stuck in my mind) of using the flamer to mop up dazed/confused/broken infantry after screamer-grenading them and was thinking 'does this even work?'. Even if it does work, I'd still expect the flamer to be most used for 'this crazy guy just jumped on my vehicle!' which considering fast hover vehicle with a holofield should be rare?

Spikes everywhere is a perfectly good plan, but Flamers are cheaper, Which makes cloudburst 14 instead of 16 and provides a use case for clean up or sef defense thats interesting. Aside from that The price brackets are basically the same. I like the picture of dual pistols for the Tank commanders, Because I like it aesthetically and eldar are like the one species that can pull off dual pistols. Of course, all of this doesn't matter much since it requires actually having the vehicle breakdown in a manner where the Crew can survive getting out AND be required to Fight instead of retreating back to a vehicle depot to get a spare.
