Why are so many people voting for the dragon plan when it's already been noted it has high odds of falling short?

BTW, anyone know what qualifies as a Lord? Is it just any noble? Or only people above a certain level?

Since I don't think we should push back our breakthrough for the dragon's site, I'm not a fan of any plan that doesn't push our Arts as hard as feasible. Plus, I've really wanted to soothe those forest spirits for some time now. The mission even has the added benefit of training occult, which is relevant to our dragon studies when we do pursue them. Which we will surely do.

I wonder if Yan Renshu can track us not by Divination, but because his pen has a "Tracking Device" formation on it?

Have we tried checking it for magical juju before?

I don't think the dragon is actually as set as you think. I for one am not too keen on it and some people have voiced dislike of the action. It's at the very least contested. And including it in your plan even though it's a non-preferred action for you seems like a good way to make your intuition of the thread into a self-fulfilling prophecy.

my masterplan is complete. I have trapped MY OWN PEN for no discernible reason

and then my enemy that I completely discounted until they raided my base has stolen a very specific object

I'm pretty sure he just scries us the way Fu Xiang does. Probably what the room of mirrors was for.
 
Looking at the tally i'll switch plans, so we don't waste a week, potentially more, on the dragon when we are already overbooked.

Since gifting things seems to be a free action: Do we still need the music manual? We wont have a music art of 2nd realm or lower and we likely only going to pick 3rd realm arts, if any.

I'm not sure that there's only one copy of the Argent Arts floating around.

The Outer Sect is a combination workforce and talent scouting for the Argent Sect. It doesn't make much sense to me to limit the Argent Arts available to only a handful of people out of the entire Outer Sect. Now granted, only a very small fractions moves to the Inner Sect, namely Eight from the Tournament and Eight from the Production track.

On the flip side, all of the Argent Arts we've seen so far have come from Trial Sites(plus some Elder tutoring) and it doesn't seem super likely to me that there's only four Trial Sites. I'm willing to bet that the Heaven/Earth Art will be behind another Trial and that we'll probably need to bring a buddy to open the door, which means either Meizhan or Xiulan.

Maybe even Cai, depending on things.
