From the perspective of Cai-ology this update didn't tell us much we didn't already know, but I'll analyze what we did learn. Most significant was this exchange:

The other thing to note is her decision not to completely destroy the fortress. This shows that her devotion to order is not blindly obsessive: she's capable of willingly allowing enemies and disorder to exist if she believes it will serve her long-term goals, rather than obsessively trying to control every detail at all times.
We already saw this though when she didn't object to us dealing with our mysterious issue ourselves during Renshu's Bad Day, rather than insisting that we tell her everything immediately. She is a capable of trusting her subordinates and allowing them to act autonomously rather than micromanaging.
This tells us a couple of things. Given the obvious chip on his shoulder about people who are injured in service being thrown away we can be confident in his statements that the volunteers to destroy the lights-orbs around Sun's fortress really were volunteers and were well cared for and rewarded. This makes sense: Ling Qi would've been willing to jump into a murderblizzard in order to improve her cultivation we can hardly be surprised if other cultivators take risks in exchange for valuable rewards. Also, CRX is hot and guys can be kind of dumb.

Hmmm... If we did both the Wolf mission ourselves and the Passionfruit mission, and completed them completely, then we should get a total of 110 sect points (60 for normal wolves, 15 for alpha, 35 for fruit). That would allow us to go to the 3rd ranked archives twice, which would be pretty awesome.
Don't know if we can do the wolf pack ourselves though, but with archery and the FVM we have a better chance at it then others.

One thing to note is that the Xiulan minor is her coming to us, not us initiating it. It's probably a combination of her recovering a bit more from her tribulation and wanting to check up on us after Sun's attack.

If not for Yan Renshu I'd be all for trying to Assassin's Creed our way through the wolf pack. As it is though I wouldn't want to try solo missions until after Yan Renshu's Worse Day. I'm hoping Fu Xiang's favor points us in that direction.
Also, can we add some information purchasing to the Fu Xiang minor? Even aside from Argent earth/heaven, our supply of super-drugs is running low and he seems like the kind of guy who could hook us up for the right price. Gotta put those stones to work.

I think Wolf mission would be a lot of fun to do with Xiulan. ALSO! It should give a 3rd grade core from it. Probably Wind/Ice, so perfect for upgrading our blizzard pin.

The problem is: what happens if one wolf detects us? Presumably they tell the others. And they have 20 chances there, as well as probably having decent smell based perception.
