Well, to address your points in order
I am fine tuning them! :) The White Hart Elixir and Flowing River pill have been added.

Yeah, the bow I'm looking to buy isn't a 100 stone monster that will be with us forever. This is a 10-20 spirit stone bow that is sold at the shop, something to use right now while we fight other cultivators and spirit beasts.

Hmmm, we could spend a ton of medicines to get to mid yellow right now, which would help us against enemy cultivators. Something to think about.

I'll wait to see what SCS3 gives and might vote for yours. It has everything it needs, but I don't feel confident doing disappearance with FSA as it seems people will actually want to use it for the mission and I worry that might be reflected by Ling Qi. If SCS3 is good enough I'll possibly switch to your vote, depending. ASA is tempting, it fits very well with our style, and the bonus to yin art means it will be improved fast.

Ew plan for progress has us give up if we don't feel strong enough to handle the mental atks. Since when have we been so weak willed , our wings shall be strong enough to carry everyone to the skies !! *insert anime Opening *

Hmm.... That is a good point in favor of going with Xiulan. By painting us in a light that we are challenging people fairly and squarely it tries to foil attempts at painting us in a negative light by saying that we go out an ambush weaker cultivators. Also being proactive is a win in my book.

I'm also thinking about trying to get to mid-yellow by spending a Snow Peaks Pill and Dark Moon pill. Get more qi and decent odds of getting to mid yellow.

We do only need 42 successes, and our rolls for spiritual can easily be Talent 6 + EPC 5+ Vent 7+ Pills 18+ Pills 7 + Li Suyin 2, so 45 and 48... making it very likely as long as we don't get a repeat of this turn's incredibly bad rolls.

Btw, @yrsillar, Li Suyin no longer gives +2 dice to spiritual? It's not in last update.

I suggest we use Flowing Rivers pill, because it increases the chances of us getting Mid-Yellow by Week 20 a reasonable amount.

Yeah, someone on this mountain is a subterfuge specialist. This plan to manipulate Cai into taking out the competition is ballsy af.

I suspect there's a Leloche Lamperouge expy (or some other chessmaster type) running around the mountain trying to oppose Satsuki. I love it.

If it was just training, I'd tell Ling Qi to suck it up - but it isn't just training. We've also got our friendship to think about - and I don't want to damage that in return for a couple of training dots.

Though if you are adamant about this, I suppose I can strip it off.
 
Alright! I'm planning on splurging and spending the snowy peak pill to get two more qi rolls and then a dark moon pill to get us a free spiritual roll which should boost us up to Mid yellow this week. This will allow us to focus on FVM and possibly SCS, depending on the requirements, in the next couple of weeks.

Subject to change, it's just that I don't think getting another Art will be worthwhile action wise in both short and long term. We have no idea what the current Art does in terms of combat mechanics, and I don't want to take another one until we know that.

We need to continue pushing our cultivation. with this plan, we should reaching Middle Yellow, getting some arts and advancing towards Late Silver. I'm also adding a Huang Da social action, along with Gu, Cai and Bai (which seem like a must have due to current situations) so that we may at least solve whatever bad blood we have between us.


Also, just to put out the idea to save the Snowy Peak Pill for use with Sable Light Pill and take a Qi Expansion tutor when we are near Green/Bronze rank. This should get us maximum gain in terms of Qi, however the ratio of gain:cost is questionable in that case (since it costs a lot of sect points).

Edit: SCS replaced with study formations.

Alright, time to talk about politics!

Do people feel that it will be more valuable to challenge people by Xuilans side, get loot (which can be used to make us stronger), and be proactive in crafting an image of ourselves as an upstanding cultivator that has no need to resort to cheap tricks like picking on red level cultivators and in fact doesn't appear to want to do that?

Or should we create a new social link in the hopes that he will be able to be a buffer against the enemy cultivator, providing useful insights on avenues of attack using formations and different production methods that could be used to imitate us?

I know you're trying not to ask for people to donate their omake points ( which is <3 ), but this situation falls under my priorities. If a mid-yellow plan is winning and you need omake points to make it a sure thing, I give you permission - nay, I ask you to tag me and let me know.

If not, I'm waiting for the day we start investigating actual formations techniques and then kind of splurge on learning them at a ridiculous rate.

Okay. I've been convinced that dropping that subpoint may be worth doing; if so, would that be enough to secure your vote?

And the cultivators we challenge are going to be among those who're also gunning for the inner sect. We know they are peers, because our batch is crazy but specifics on how we stand is going to be really nice.

More politically, this also improves our relationship with Xiulan since we'd have her back, and it presents us as friends and allies to her and Han Jian's group. Sure, people know this. But now everyone will be reminded that we're allies of Bai, Han Jian, and have at least some connection with Cai, which will come up in the meeting.

This will also tell the Sect who are watching us, that we are continuously aiming higher. Rem, this is based on advice from Xiulan's inner disciple cousin. We will get noticed, and in a good way

Alright, thinking it over, I feel that being proactive is the best choice at the moment. The Xuan action would take a while to bear fruit and be productive in helping us stop the enemy cultivator and I don't think we have that time. They are probably going to get more desperate now that their first plan has failed and so we need to move quicker than them. That means setting the pace of what they can realistically do to us. At the moment, they can (and are) attacking us on a social level by besmirching our good name and turning other cultivators against us. While attacking other cultivators appears to further this goal, what it actually does is paint a spotlight on us reassuring people that Ling Qi is not someone who goes around in the dark to ambush weaker cultivators. At the moment, the more light that is on us, the fewer avenues the enemy cultivator has in pursuing any actions against us.

In short, by being more public and more in the open, we limit the avenues of attack the enemy has on us. People get to know us, get to see us around, get an idea planted in their mind that Ling Qi is a noble cultivator that follows tradition and doesn't rock the boat. The first idea that is implanted into someone's head is the one that wins (generally). In that sense, attacking the enemies avenues of attack is the best route to ensuring that we know which direction they will be coming from (allowing us to prepare defenses in that section of social war) while giving ammunition ourselves to attack ideas being thrown around that we are not a noble cultivator.
