While 'Playing Tag' is probably not a awful choice, it is playing to a spirit's rules and assuming she is what she looks like, when we know she is a spirit that emphasises stealth and playing tricks.

No, we know how strong she is from that clash. And honestly, it doesn't matter how long it takes to get back down, as long as we have the Dew.

Everything we are and have is thanks to these friends. Even ancient turtle senses our secret friend powaaa and gave us his offspring because he new nothing would stop this roller-coaster

I'm interested in what her mother's yard will be like. Yard seems like a weird word to use when you are on a mountain. It might be a cool location that we might be able to get permission to use, especially if we make nice with the spirit. I don't know if we will succeed in doing this and getting the moon flower nectar (which would suck) but the possibility to make friends with someone who can influence the storm and probably has a mother who is much more powerful would be interesting.

We also have the advantage with mid-silver physique, and AMA will help us find her and where she is hiding.

Because we are in the mountains, my hope is that the sun began setting at 6:00 or 7:00 which would make the time right now either 8:00 or 9:00. If we spend a good hour playing tag with her, that would leave two hours to go get the moon flower. If it is the earlier time we would have two hours to play tag.

Also, it's always nice to play with children, especially children who might not be able to socialize with others on a regular basis.

Guys, you do realise that a spirit's wager is 9 times out 10 just an excuse for its retribution, right?
 
Why would you guys want to take her to the location with the flower that will attract hostile spirits as well as possibly make her want the flower itself cus you know she's a spirit too right?

Then we'll have to fight her for it which will be annoying ....

At least this way we can play with her , and come back down mountain to avoid ambush by the other cultivators and possibly show her the flower before we on our way back home. Hell we might be able to trade the flower with her mom for something cool if we bring it with us back down

They're not all inherently horrible monsters that want mankind to suffer you know.

This isn't western fantasy where supernatural creatures set things up so that you're doomed to fail. Spirits are inhuman and react in inhuman ways, yes, but if you play their games and win them, you gain their blessing in turn.
 
Thinking about it, she might not be that familiar with music out in the wild her whole life.

We could try offering to play for her as entertainment. A song or two and we're on our way, we'd leave a more memorable impression if she likes it, and we can always default to tag or feeding her if she says no.

Huh that's honestly not a bad idea tho it runs the risk of her to ask us to play more songs and we might not know that many...which could anger her. Honestly tag just seems like the better option here instead of trying to come up with some write in.
 
So let's do a quick rundown of the choices and what they cost.

Time and some Qi.
[] Try to bribe the child spirit with food
Spirit Cores. I'm guessing the small ones are worth something in the 10 stone range, so it's giving up the equivilent of like 2 sect points, and we need them for Adoratortoise.
[] Offer to show her something interesting if she lets you through. Take her to the glade.
Probably will have to fight her, might attract more spirits, might complicate actually gathering the stuff, probably make an enemy of her mother. Obvious worst choice is worst.
[] Just knock her out and move on

Honestly that's pretty funny.

We are most likely the most social of the characters as we have a finger in every pie so to speak and our only enemy being huang Das fiance , the twins , and zihou who is more of bais enemy right now


Just imagine of certain rolls didn't go well...we wouldn't have been Bais friend or li ling, Gu would have been an antogonist for us ... deAR God the horror .

I sort of half-want to suggest a 'no arts' clause or something, but she'd probably take that to be a less fun version of the game.

The name is Kang Zihao. Zhou is the muscular elder.
