She made sure to master Argent Soul. While it's a good art for growth later on, it still ended up eating into her time. It was what she was doing up to the last minute. Even if she doesn't actually care, she's going to be focused here because she's representing her family.
Regarding the Tournament. Our current 1v1 strategy against an enemy of our level seems to be to evade around and sting at the enemy until they they run out of Qi. We need a poisoning skill, a damage dealing one, or a spirit that can actually battle in order to even consider winning. If we fight an enemy of our level(luckily there aren't many) that can spam their attack art as well as we can spam FVM, we would get fucked. I am hopeful the tournament will not be entirely 1v1, so these detriments will be less of a setback.

You need to click 'Tally' before you clink 'Insert Tally'. Otherwise it inserts a tally calculated the last time someone hit Tally.

My plan currently sits at 17 or less actually, since a few have left the plan for the plan "A cultivator is a social animal"

Everyone, I would be vary cautious of a plan that makes no progress towards bringing Han Jian's group towards the vent. If we don't do something to change the current course, we're going to lose most to all of that group. Xuilan is the only one who might stay our friend... and even that would be strained and not guaranteed. They're falling behind and they know it, and even without the knowledge that we have an easy way to help them keep up a bit more, it's straining our friendship/alliance. The moment they find out about the vent, and it won't be a secret forever, that will turn to real bitterness.
I'm content to wait on the third measure of FVM and what it gives us before making more concrete plans around offensive arts. I think synergy is going to be more important than punch, and FVM has been giving us neat toys to play with so far.

They will be too busy marveling at the Vent and training instead of, for some reason, throwing down with the two girls.
There was friction in bringing them to training, yeah, but the situation has seriously changed since them. Fan Yu has fallen way behind, Li Suyin has had a change of heart, fluffy has proven her "worth" with finding the vent, Han Jian is getting a bit desperate in being overtaken, Gu Xiulan is a serious friend, Ling Qi has much better standing with pretty much everyone.
Before, Han Jian's crew was fairly elite, being a bit, tightly knit group of upper tier cultivators. Ling Qi was Jian's charity case. Whom introduced two nobodies to mooch their of training.
Now she has broken throught both yellow and silver in 10 weeks. Now Suyin is a serious healer.
This will seriously be seen as a betrayal if we keep it to ourselves.
And more people means we secure it from others, like Huang Da.

People are so paranoid about sabotaging our friendships that they're sabotaging our friendship. On that note, why don't you switch your vote A Cultivator is a Social Animal? Not only do we go ahead and start doing what you're suggesting, but we do it in a way that give Han Jian a confidence boost and a chance to bring an accomplishment back to his friends.
The problem is just how valuable the Argent vent is. It's probably one of the most valuable things on the outer disciples mountian, providing 5 auto successes for argent techniques, 5 bonus dice at red (8 at yellow) and takes the place of the first spirit stone (really good for yellow cultivators saves 10 red stones, i.e. double your sect allowance per week).
Say you have talent 5 that's the average equivilent of 12 extra dice to your physical/spiritual/qi cultivation per week. Talent 4 15 extra dice. I can't begin to imagine the price of a pill that provided the same benifits. You'd have to stack 4-5 argent accumulation pills on top of each other just to equal that benifit. Then there's the equivilent of a souped up steady growth pill (8 stones for the one in the shop which provides less benifits. Half the vent's benifits at yellow).
It's an immense resource, one of the things that can catapult its users past the competition and Su Ling and Li Suyin just got mugged for everything they have and probably haven't been picking up their allowances. It's sheer value means that giving it away without a really good reason or a really strong friendship is unthinkable. But its value also means that even bringing up exactly what we have represents an immense temptation to Han Jian.
And from Su Ling and Li Suyin's point of view however horrible Huang Da is he's one person using the vent. One person to catch up and beat rather than four.
If we're going to bring it up it should be in a way that eases Han Jian and his group into it. Perhaps something like:
-[] Check with Li Suyin and Su Ling if they're ok with us trying to arrange another joint training session with a view towards eventually sharing the vent (possibly with compensation). mention we've talked to Xiulan. If they give the ok. Bring up Li Suyin and Su Ling's situation (kicked out of their home) and your talk with Gu Xiulan. Try and get him to agree to another joint training action and have him ride herd on Fan Yu. Obliquely mention that we have some valuable resources that we might be able to share if the groups can get along.
That lets him know a bit of what's going on, helps try and unite the groups without outright stating how valuable the vent is and putting that level of temptation out there immedietly. It also has a good chance of helping out Li Suyin by helping her improve her training whilst getting a little social interaction besides us and Su Ling.

I like my plan more, because we can't keep spending actions on this - it's turning into a sinkhole. My plan also means that Han Jian is the one who 'brings' the group the vent, which improves his confidence, and it does it by helping Su Ling and Li Suyin. How valuable the vent is to 'rent' out only matters to the extent we can rent it out - but Han Jian gives every indication of being loaded and nice. They won't get a bad deal.

Quite honestly, I feel that we need to make inroads with Han Jian as a friend before we try to merge the groups together like that.
Also, I have changed my plan regarding this four different times. There are serious arguments to be made for joining the groups together, but I won't feel comfortable with it until we know that we want to stick with Han Jian's group longer term. In order to do that, we will need to spend time with him and get him as a friend.

So final thought before I leave, but OOC just why do you think authors portray the things the way they do or even include them in the first place? It tends to be because their's a limited amount of writing to do, and they want to make it as impactful as possible, thus chekov's gun being a thing.
So, why would the author include Ling Qi noticing Xuilan's jealousy at her advancement? Why would he mention Han Jian minimizing his interaction with her? Why would he show him averting his eyes when she looks at him? Or Han Jian not telling Xuilan that she'd advanced to Silver?
Conversely why would the author write what he did about Su Ling and Li Suyin in the prior chapters? About their growth and determination, about them seeking revenge, and acquiring whatever advantages they can to become stronger and not be weak.
Frankly to not even to give them the option, either group, is just treating them like children. It's dismissive, I know better than you do, so I'm not even going to give you a choice in the matter. As if even if they dislike each other, they can't behave or cooperate with each other when they each benefit. It's also ignoring the various warning signs popping up about Han Jian's group and their desire for advancement, and frankly I'm a believer in when the author spends his time writing out various displays of expression and it's not reacted to that players should be punished for it.
Han Jian's group wants a way to grow faster, Ling Qi has a way, Su Ling and Li Suyin need the resources that could come from it, and each can benefit. While the latter relationships won't be damaged by not offering it, the former almost certainly is going to be. Xuilan is our best relationship with that group currently and she introduced us to another site, fought with us, training with us, gave us items, helped us out with various situations and when it's clearly displayed that she desires if not believes she needs something people don't respond to it.
When even she finds out about the site, basic human social dynamics say the relationship going to suffer. Quite harshly IMO as comparatively she's been helping us out considerably, and our help towards accomplishing things she wants ... has there been such a thing? The most we've done is did some social activities she wanted, but she tended to purchase us things during such a thing so.
Huang Da is also currently using the Vent. The creepy stalker guy, who tried to murder if not deal debilitating injuries to all three people. He's using the vent, but inviting Han Jian's group is too much? Like Huang if the two groups don't get along such that it's negatively effecting them, there is zero need for them to be there simultaneously.

Thing is, we don't need to merge the groups before doing it.
But doing it is an actually powerful tool towards merging the groups.

Lets mend fences with Han Jian, so we don't bust this out on him while our friendship is strained, and we simply add this humble subvote to any Jian or Suyin action next week. Done.
That's completely misunderstanding how relationships work though. You make inroads with a friend by finding out their desires and wants, and negating what they fear? Now, just what would those things happen to be?
I can't be arsed going into your points about "joining of groups" again, given I've done it before yet you keep repeating it ad nausiem.
