[X] Plan All The Drugs
Changing back then.Ok, setting overflow route on my plan!
Edit:
I've set it to physical first, because that's what people prefer. It's close enough I don't think it matters. We're going to be rolling a hell of a lot of dice here, more then enough to fill ether tank, and if people like the physical tank I'll send it there.
Derp.
Do we need to? Peak is a block that we cant go over without effort, so we should not really be able to 'store' successes over the limit. Also, I might suggest "Overflow into physical until physical hits peak, then overflow into Spiritual". Not sure if that's implied by your vote or not.
I think I'm also changing over, then. It handles my physical cultivation concerns.
[X] Plan The Zephyr Will Fly
Could you possibly put in an apology to Han Jian's group? We'd like to smooth that over, and mixing the two groups really isn't going to work, long-term.
They've no natural reason to work together, they have a lot of natural reasons to *not* get along, and we don't have the social skill to paper over the difference. Also, there's just not much there to be gained.

because they are *also* our friends, and we tried to force our other friends in on them in spite of the fact that they had nothing to gain? Being socially pushy *is* something to apologize for, and we kind of were. They were very rude to our other friends- what do we have to apologize about?.
...because that one gives us top tier of Zephyr, and we expect to get into fights? Also because maxing out Zephyr is likely to be worth a decent number of points in whatever rubric Prof Su uses to determine who gets the library pass.Ok, why is a plan that isn't fully utilizing our resources winning? We have a high chance of being able to make a breakthrough attempt on both Physical and Spiritual next turn with Plan Plan. It's not nearly as safe a bet on Plan Zephyr. A breakthrough at our level is basically a coin-flip, so Plan Plan gives us a 3/4's chance to successful breakthrough at least one of Physical or Spiritual next turn. Plan Zephyr gives us a fifty fifty chance.
That's not nearly as good a chance, and we want at least one successful breakthrough next turn!
Huh, now when I think about it we did gain ZB due to Elder Su pretty much giving it to us. Finishing it up during the 3 months we have with her would send a pretty nice message....because that one gives us top tier of Zephyr, and we expect to get into fights? Also because maxing out Zephyr is likely to be worth a decent number of points in whatever rubric Prof Su uses to determine who gets the library pass.

Generally speaking, people don't try dual breakthrough weeks *anyway*. There might be a reason for that.
The thing is we're expecting to be attacked almost instantly once the truce is over. So from that perspective one more level of ZB is worth it if it keeps us from taking significant injuries or losing resources. We haven't been given one, though. I suspect it's because there are drugs and techniques to help you succeed at breakthrough, which we don't have, and most people don't reach both at the same time, which we have.
Splinting it up over multiple turns is just going to put getting both up there further away. And we'll be one roll from Zephyr's breath anyways.
Peak's not a proper stage. There's no 1 auto-success bonus for peak vs late. The thing is we're expecting to be attacked almost instantly once the truce is over. So from that perspective one more level of ZB is worth it if it keeps us from taking significant injuries or losing resources.
Splitting up breakthroughs makes a certain amount of sense because of how the breakthrough mechanics work:
Say you're a cultivator of average talent (around 4 if I'm not mistaken). Say you roll poorly and lose 30xp. This immediately pushes you back down from peak to late stage. If one of your rivals who was also at the peak stage came to find you at this time you'd then be at a 1 success disadvantage. Or if a group of your weaker rivals (say mid to your peak) come along they've significantly reduced the advantage you have over them, which will make it much easier for weight of numbers to carry the day. In addition you need to roll a number of times, potentially getting weaker several times.
This is very important for Ling Qi because we do have rivals.
If we had one more week of truce I'd be voting for your plan like a shot, but we don't. If you can convince me my estimations are off I don't mind switching at all.
From their perspective, we basically invited a group of strangers to their close knit group in order to mooch off their talents and hinder their training. The only reason they let us invite them, was because two of the four people liked us too much to refuse. This is after refusing their prior invitation to train as well. They were very rude to our other friends- what do we have to apologize about?.

[X] Plan do what we planned to do
Kind of irritating to see all the warning stuff make it to votes. Hoping that becomes something we don't need to include soon. I'm fine with pretty much any of these winning after the answer to overflow direction came up...but i'd prefer the arm meridian getting finished.

Yeah, I'm also wanting arm arts, spine arts. Head arts too, eventually. I think a balanced cultivator should use all of them, though we'll always more exotics then anything else.
Ling Qi doesn't currently need arm meridians though. And with a Sable and Foundation pill, she can definitely get them when she does.
