[X] Plan The Zephyr Will Fly

I am just happy we tried looking for the original owner. No more guilt, we tried.

And can anyone come up with reasons how merging our two group of friends is a great idea? Bonus points if include snek
Increased social skills/attributes training and developing of intergroup Social Links? Making sure we're all one cohesive bloc that can stand up to outside enemies? Seeing Best Snek interacting with everyone, probably in a amusing way? Actually getting to see how Meizhen fights which may inspire and motivate us plus probably looking really cool?

This decision to disregard cultivation is stressing me out. Suffering the foe's two instant auto-successes for their being in early yellow versus our late red is going to sting something fierce.
... sable light pill and overflow are our friend. We cant throw everything into spiritual or physical and hope we can breakthrough this week without losing out on everything else.

We should be in position to break through in week 13.
We just need good rolls.

This said, I am not pressing for a week 12 breakthrough because if we did that, and failed, we would end up with nothing.

This way we get a ton of qi and upgrade our arts, making us this much deadlier.

Yeah, it would really suck to gamble everything on Yellow/Silver and get nothing. Not only would we lose out on Archive Pass (which we might lose out if we succeed Yellow too, depending), but we'll also be much weaker.

I have thought it through, and have decided to switch my vote to Zephyr's breath. My thinking behind this is that when we use the Sable Light pill for EPC we would also want to do meridians that turn and we could get an arm meridian then.

With the sable light pill I'm good with the Arts explosion plan. That said, Zephyr plan is kind of halfway rude to our Elders... Elder Su is pretty chill, but I gather we're pressing the line with questions, and I do not expect a nice response from Zhou.

Yeah, the Elder Zhou part I am iffy about. I'll be open to taking it out if enough people think it's a bad idea.

Elder Su specifically has days of the week where she waits for questions. She likes teaching.

The only thing that really bugs me this time is spending time with Han Jian when we know Gu Xiulan reacted poorly to us bringing in our friends to the training session. Jian can sort of weight, but I'd rather try and head things off with Xiulan to prevent any resentment from her and maybe even find out where we really stand.

I mean, hanging out with Jian is probably the worst thing we could do to help calm things down with her considering how possessive she is of him.

But that's just, like, my opinion man- and I'm happy enough that the glorious wheel crushed all opposition that I don't particularly feel the need to rant and rave here.

I'm like 100% for removing the Elder Zhou bit. Also leaning towards a physical activity there. I'm still for removing the Elder Su question but that doesn't matter as much to me.

Not really fond of the Su question either- I'd at least weight until we know we've tapped out ZB and AS before we ask. She's a good teacher, and would probably tell us when we should start going after those rather than us trying to jump the gun.

Bit confused. If we do ZB during Zhou's class do we still roll for physical? Think it's a waste if not... we could potentially be breaking through next week.

We'll try and break through to Yellow next week. We may try to break through to siliver next week, but that's less sure.

A really big Qi pool and Yellow gets us another action, so that's super appealing since we're about to raise our Qi a ton.

I really wouldn't trade Meridians for Arts this week, the numbers for Meridians are somewhat better, and every bit better makes it more likely that we graduate to six turns. Six turns is really important because our locked in training turn covers two turns of cultivation. We're going to slow down if we don't manage to get it.

Four Meridians, three arts. You might trade FVM for two ZB via tea. I don't think it's needed because we'll be in spitting distance of it even if we don't make it, but I could see why someone would do it. Harder time seeing trading Meridians for arts this turn.

My question is more how do we get the scrolls. Do we need to do special tasks to Elders, do we need to show ourself outstanding, do we need to buy them, etc.

Also, my plan gets ZB3 (with average rolls), and ZB3 is the max. Hence, it's tapped out.

Whats this about the bear elixer?
Every weeks Elder Zhou gives us Bear Marrow Elexir, which enhance physical cultivation...which we aren't doing.

So, I just caught up with the story, but have yet to read all the post so I have no idea if this has been brought up already yet or not but...

The flute is listed as an antique- By definition that means it's at least a hundred years old. Plus, we apparently had a jade pin- which would not be easy for a prostitute to get. I'm kind of curious about our characters mother. I suspect there is a story there.

Fair enough, but I'd phrase it more as asking Su if she has any tasks we could do to try and get the scrolls. If she doesn't, she'll probably have a tip for how we can, if she does cool. But asking the method seems like it's liable to get a 'depends'.

That might sound like semantics but it flows a lot better to me and sounds less awkward.

By the way, this will be the last tea week.

Bai Meizhen pursed her lips for a moment as she studied Ling Qi's expression. "I am no herbalist, but I do have some small supply of spirit herbs. Several of which are no longer useful to me," she added, as if that explained everything. She frowned a second later at Ling Qi's lack of understanding. "The tea will allow you to cultivate longer and more efficiently. It cannot be used too often though. Once a month at most."

So we're probably not going to burst open a ton of Meridians in one week again. If you want to get the starting point open any time in the near future, for example because you want arm techniques, you really should support the plan that opens them now rather then later.

And actually, we should also warn our companions that it is likely that we will be trying for breakthroughs the following week and potentially the week after.

They made a point to warn us in advance, so it's only fair.
