These are one-sentence things. "Hey guys - you know anything about this?" "yep/nope". "Okay, cool. Also, I got this stalker. He sucks, and might be after you." "Got it." We're not trying to achieve anything enormously important - just pass the word on things that each side has already learned.

The Gu Xiulan action isn't "warn my friends", it's "ask for advice and assistance on how to handle this particular problem", and would probably involve some follow-on action to deal with the issue. Not the same thing at all.

It's also a "hang with Gu Xiulan" action.

I had made it pretty clear I was assuming class we were cultivating Argent Soul because of the week nine lecture. I had the Argent Pill being used for a reason. I added it in explicitly after clarification, but I don't think it surprised anyone.
 
I'd prefer if folks didn't do too much 'free action' stuff. It kinda dilutes the focus I can give scenes. A winning shop vote will have me posting a shop list and prices to let you guys vote on while I write the rest of the update.
 
@TotallyNotEvil Could you add bringing the exam tokens along to the production hall for examination if we don't get an idea from Han Jian?

Anyway it's the best option I've seen so far even if I'd personally prefer to reveal our arts to our friends and wait one more week before using them publically. One enemy knowing about them does not totally invalidate secrecy and I think revealing them in the final truce week might have more of an intimidation factor. Still a fairly good plan so.

So I would suggest you cut back on trying to free action the tokens, and free action the production hall. Ether explore the mountain or visit the merchants, don't try and do both. Author as has asked that 'free' actions don't get overloaded here.

Swapping the staff for a more useful talisman is worthwhile and all, but we also want a chance to buy pills, and we have stone to buy them with.

I don't think that's strictly neccessary, you don't forget the money when going out shopping.

We will be able to vote before the turn starts, actually. So no problems there. We will be carrying as much money as we need.

I explicitly want to head to the production hall, which is a thing. It's a place in the mountain where they craft and, probably, sell stuff. At least, we should get a good quote on the staff's worth, and how much for a specialized talisman for ourselves.
 
Huang Da is wonderfully well done as a creepy antagonist. I am kind of hoping that he keeps staying just strong enough that we can't quite kill him.
