So that was some stuff edited in that I caught on the second go around. From a quick read through it all looks alright. I didn't check it in too much depth but nothing stood out to me as wrong. Additionally since this is for approval voting I mostly checked to see if it's a functional vote more than anything else.

I'm less sure that's the case. I don't believe I've made a statement on it one way or another but here's the relevant text of the action.

As far as I can tell "Rome" is sufficient even if it does make my potential results pool smaller.

I think you did. Please take a look here:

The DC for fighting crime in Mexico is 28, Peru is 24, Argentina is 64, France is 26, Canada is 52, Italy is 17, and London is not like the rest as it's a city and not a country. England currently would be 46

I'm not sure we have enough good Intrigue heroes to do all of these.

Additionally:
[X] Begin mass producing generic life model decoy drones
Our LMD's still aren't great and there isn't really any point producing them now if we're just going to have Fixit upgrade them in pursuit of making them suitable for Marie.

I'll update it anyway just for ease. I figured since we tend to focus on individual cities in the US this would be the same but it doesn't really matter.
We did this last turn. I think there is a limit to how far we can take this with the computer. Best to tackle something else.
No we didn't, last turn we analysed the fruit itself leading to us identifying and isolating the chemical that causes the stretchiness. This is the first time than an action to study the chemical itself has been available.

I think you did. Please take a look here
Its ambiguous enough that I can see it going both ways. I'm specifically responding to this question by AizenMD "What's the DC for fighting crime in Mexico, Peru, Argentina, France, Canada, Italy, and London?" with that response.

I can see my answer not being an indictment of it needing to be a city in a literal sense, but the fact that I didn't give a DC with the reasoning that "it is different from the rest as it's a country and not a city" kind of clinches it. Considering the difficulties I'd have with needing to cap rewards I think I'm going to shift a bit and say that you're right it should be countries only. I'll make a note to update the descriptor to make it clearer going forwards from here.
I'll update it anyway just for ease. I figured since we tend to focus on individual cities in the US this would be the same but it doesn't really matter.
The big difference between US and non-US cities is that due to the bias of DC comics being written and published by people in the US, those cities tend to be a lot more fleshed out. Meanwhile while I can generally make due with countries, it can get tricky for me to find relevant rewards for Florence and Naples, especially since I need to balance DC's for all of them.

Edit: I'd have problems with specific US cities as well. Places like Sheridan, Wyoming or Tulsa, Oklahoma or Peabody, Massachusetts and things would get really tricky for me. Those cities are generally significantly more obscure than Rome, but I still think it demonstrates the principle that there is a point where fighting crime in specific cities can get tricky for me when coming up with rewards.

Would northern Africa work? Or could you tell me a nation Kobra is particularly active in?
I'm not 100% what we need Ken for right now but we've gotten into the pattern. Maybe LMD's or finally a dedicated Amazo lab? Or alternatively just a generic robotics one to help both?
Except we broke that pattern, because it wasn't paying off for us, to do one big action every turn. We did a single superior turn action turn 32 instead. We have better options than throwing this action out every turn.

Exosuits mobility is a bit of a waste. We already have flight capable exosuits. It's a waste of heros give. The team it needs. If you want a fifth action, update Lexcorp securities equipment instead. We have a whole bunch of brainiac tech that would greatly improve there performance at this point.
We are fast approaching the deadline for this and the more I think about it the more I'd rather get it done now when we don't have a disaster looming over us.
Lex on ODIN or something else critical this turn is pretty appealing. We can take the next few months to plan out a turn 34 without him available, but having him absent from this turn is far, far too disruptive to everything else we've discussed.

Gotta get Marie that new body and Fixit actively wants to do it.
I'd say switch to the comp actions for this first and tackle it next turn.

[X] Commission art from Julie Madison
[X] Meet with Veronica Cale
[X] Advertise and promote the Wonderland Races
The races are definitely doing much better than we ever cared for them to be and their not a priority so much as a pleasant surprise. Actions this turn would be better spent developing new drones and helicopters to sell to the military and show off at Lexpo, rather than commissioning art or boosting the races further.

We have too many business ventures in the works to take up another one with Cale. We need to be simplifying things, not complicating them.

[X] Use Zeta Beam transmat stations to smuggle in restricted materials
We don't need restricted materials. This is just a use the zeta machine to use the zeta machine action, when we could making more tech or developing powersuits to protect Austria when the Kryptonians invade. It's much better PR and profit. We've barely touched the interesting stuff we have already.

I think the SCU is a resounding success to the point that they don't need promoting. We can make money selling to the US government to offset the costs of multiple donations instead.

At least this isn't a Marvel quest, where everyone and their mother lives in New York. Hell, Daredevil is a dedicated supehero that micromanages the shit out of a single square mile.

I semi-seriously think that if this was a Marvel quest playing as, say, Norman Osborn, all we'd need to do is to move to Europe or even just somewhere in the midwest, and we'd take over like half the world before anyone would even start remotely caring. It's pretty bad.

We have plenty of intrigue heroes for job

They don't need to be perfect for generic models, we can as well field test technology. I assume they would just work in Lexcorp towers posing as new interns giving another boost to security and if any discovered we can convince people to keep silent about it and will learn what further improvements are needed to make.

Additional exosuits abilities would be very useful when we finally start making personal exosuits for our hero units. Traditional training can only get you so far

It is not hard DC action and I don't think that they are more popular than Superman for example. As long as it is not the case we still have work to do.

Hmm, let me think it over.

My big concern is that if something comes up this turn that shifts things we may struggle to spare Lex whereas right now things are relatively calm.

I don't know I'll think it over.

Eh this is still the best use of Fixit's time right now IMO. Not only does he actively want to work on them but the sooner LMD's are up to snuff the sooner we can give Marie a huge boost and unless we all agree to switch our computer action over to LMD's all taking Fixit off them would accomplish is us making no progress on that front.

To be completely fair while a ton of Marvel heroes do operate out of New York an argument could be made that Marvel is generally better at exploring the rest of the world than DC,

Marvel arguably has more characters from other countries that actually matter, for example Captain Britain, mutants come from all over the world and Marvel's fictional countries tend to be more relevant than DC's. Wakanda, Latveria and Genosha are all countries where people actually live and are important to the plot rather than just being made up countries were people used to live before ending up in America like Zambesi, Markovia or Vlatava.

Those all take people away from where they may be more useful.

IMO Carl should be working with Mina on preparing for Trigon.

The Rogues are one of our better Stewardship teams when working together.

And we'd be missing out in the chance to milk one last bit of science from Moon.

I assume they would just work in Lexcorp towers posing as new interns giving another boost to security and if any discovered we can convince people to keep silent about it and will learn what further improvements are needed to make.
It's still an unnecessary risk for no real gain when the current model will be obsolete in a few turns at most anyway.

Plus this isn't about them not being perfect, our current model of LMD's can't even reliably hold a conversation.

Also, we need to fire Elaine and Louise.

Give me a second.

It is not hard DC action and I don't think that they are more popular than Superman for example. As long as it is not the case we still have work to do.
They don't have flashy costumes and their not doing interviews and adopting a persona to sell themselves to the public. The people we can hope to make more popular than superman is our Bastion team members. Anything else is just futile.

Additional exosuits abilities would be very useful when we finally start making personal exosuits for our hero units. Traditional training can only get you so far
It'w not additional exosuits abilities. It's a slightly higher to significantly higher quality flight unit. Nothing we do with mobility is going to keep up with Kryptonians. Improving overall tech with the fruit of 2 or 3 years worth of advances, is a lot more worthwhile than a better flight unit on an Equalizer 2.0.

I strongly disagree with this.

Aerial manuverability, next to sound, is one of the stated weaknesses of untrained Kryptonians. Specifically, their abilities to decelerate and change directions. We probably can't make a suit that can move in straight line from A to B faster, or at least mass produce one, but making a suit that can rapidly change directions and thus keeping Kryptonians from being able to properly and easily close out the distance and take it out? That's not only doable, I actively think that that's what we should be doing.

At this point we can definitely form strong hero teams without lex. Emergencies can be dealt with without him, we just have to take hits to goals like studying brainiac tech and other things. We're doing Odin, propaganda, Lexpo, expand Lexcorp, ect. A bunch of actions we've been planning to take for days that become impossible to juggle all of them if we lose him.

And our Equalizer is a fully flight capable suit that can change directions reliably enough to be used against brainiac drones sheer numbers. These aren't necessarily untrained kryptonians given the military academy Kara attendee. Your obsessing over a single weakness of Kryptonians Zod could easily be specifically training them to overcome given he is a brilliant military leader who could realize the problem. It's not a sensible move.

Taking one or two actions to aim at possible weakness is not obsessing. We should aim at every weakness, not rely on over enginering single system.

Northern Africa would be fine. Also I don't feel like it's a spoiler since it has popped up before, but Kobra originated in India.

Marvel's really weird. New York has everything, but the company is generally on par with DC in terms of foreign characters. There's a lot of Germans, Russians and Canadians (the first two because of WW2 and the Cold War respectively, and the later because Wolverine blew up immensely in popularity). I can think of a handful of French characters (Batroc, Swordsman, the Stacy twins and Grey Gargoyle), a handful of Italians (Count Nefaria, Silvermane, Diablo, and technically Leonardo Da Vinci since he's both alive and actively involved with creating/reforming SHIELD every so often), and a decent number of Egyptians though they're mostly tied to the X-Men (Storm, Shadow King and Apocalypse).

I also think Dr. Doom's kind of the ambiguously Eastern European elephant in the room (I believe I remember comics where upon Doom being out of the country, Hungary attempted to invade Latveria).

I think Marvel's as good if not better than DC with international characters, but significantly worse at covering the US.
The King of Wakanda fights street crime in New York City... just because. I guess it's a hobby or something?
My experience (admittedly this might not be the case any more) is that the King of Wakanda actually tends to mostly fight usurpers in Wakanda (Man-Ape, White Wolf, Killmonger and Tetu) and the occasional foreign interloper (Klaue, Namor, and Achebe) when he's not part of some bigger team. T'Challa just really likes being a team player in recent years.

T'Challa is also apparently just sitting on the cure to cancer but refuses to give it because cigarette companies exist outside of Wakanda, so how much of a team player is he really? Fighting people in New York might legitimately just be his hobby when Wakanda is secure.

I don't think this at all. I think that if Zod is bringing out Kryptonians into the world en-masse (the baseline requirement for them to gain powers. None of them but Kara have powers now) to train in the use of their Kryptonian powers, then that means that he is about ready to start attacking, by which point he either launches his attempt or we attack him instead.

Also you're saying single weakness, but like, that's a pretty big weakness. If we maximize our chances to stay out of their range, and have laser resistant exosuits to counter their heat vision, then they can't hit anything properly and all of their massive, overwhelming power means fuck all. That's big, and it's worth pursuing in my mind.

We don't have laser resistant exosuits. Short of developing some kind of beam reflecting alloy by having the super computer create such an alloy with Dahwan's particle, we probably aren't going to end up with them.

[X] Begin a hard propaganda push across all of your news sources
This really is a must take action. What sort of propaganda we push isn't decided until later, but there are a lot of good options for this turn in particular.

There is Wayne and their borderline criminal activity last turn we could use against them to poor oil on the fire.

We of course could just go after superman over his ineffectiveness last turn.

There is the option to make a possibly election changing statement or statements.

Lastly, there is always promoting some tech or business of ours, or Bastion for that matter. We could even attempt to convince people of the superiority to working for Lexcorp to chip away at the Hire workers action DC given the ratio of workers to towers is part of the problems impacting our hero limit.

In conclusion, Propaganda has potential to be a very high reward action with a low DC used right this turn.

For comparison we have a similar action and the results of a mere significant success.

Public: Adored (Lex has revolutionized how the world communicates with his smartphone network. Because of this the public sees him as a genius innovator pushing the world to a better tomorrow with Galaxy Communications ties to Intergang revealed their criticisms have been dismissed and Lex is more popular than ever. However his company has begun to get far more mixed publicity ever since the debacle at the first Lexpo. In the wake of all of the invasion by Brainiac, Lex Luthor's and by extension, LexCorp's, profile is at an all time high as he is viewed as one of the people who contributed the most towards saving the planet and defending the world)
If we factor in Lex's popularity and clout with the American government, propaganda doesn't need a very strong success to effect the election in a big way or attack Wayne's board of directors reprehensible actions.
Results: Superman doesn't capture any criminals, Superman's reputation slightly damaged, Superman is open to potential further reputational damage.
Results: Superman fails to learn anything new about LexCorp, save that they can block his super-senses fairly effectively, Superman becomes increasingly concerning to the US military and government, Superman's reputation with Diana Prince goes down significantly, Superman viewed as a potential threat by Count Vertigo and Queen Bee, Superman's reputation with Japan is heavily damaged, Superman's relationship with other G7 countries significantly damaged, Superman gets a substantial reputational increase with those opposed to or suspicious of LexCorp.
With the vulnerability to reputation damage superman has as a result of his failure last turn, and his actions investigating us, even his popularity isn't enough to require that strong of a success.

If worst comes to worst, and the success isn't satisfactory, we can always just promote one of our new miracle techs like the cold engine or quantum computer, or even just the narrative of one of this or last turns nemesis events.

On another note, if we are taking Lexpo, the following write in might be prudent? Thoughts? We can always vote it now and drop it during the hero vote if need be.

I tend to go nuts during this vote, and I'll trim this list a lot over the next few days. I vote for whatever catches my attention on the first pass, and I get really interested with what can be unlocked for us. The way I see it is that with the Lexpo, the more we can show off the better, the auto-kitchen is the one I have my fingers crossed for.

We don't necessarily need a strong team to get a worthwhile success.

Marry succeeded at both of these rerolls before you even account for Lance. I'm sure we can spare a hero and the DC is 15.

For comparison we have a similar action and the results of a mere significant success.

If we factor in Lex's popularity and clout with the American government, propaganda doesn't need a very strong success to effect the election in a big way or attack Wayne's board of directors reprehensible actions.

[ ] [Team] Guard Lexpo against criminals and infiltrators.

The thing is that the DC goes up with each success, and unless you have something you can say "we should aim for this specific thing" and it's completely game-changing, I think we should keep the propaganda ace in the hole hidden for now so to speak, and if it is game changing then we should put more effort to guarantee a bigger result.

Added some job votes to my post.

This is done in the hero vote.
