Eh, I think the expertise of Meros would be just as useful for rapidly iterating and distributing anti-rot wards and tuning up whatever defenses against the Thirst their wards are already providing as it will be for developing Unwinding Protocols to baffle the Fateweaver.
Only thing I dislike about [] Plan: United Front is that the sons get left behind.
it's the end of the turn. any on long-term projects won't suffer do to their temporary absence, most of the things we started this turn have already been confirmed done in other updates. this imagined critical need for them to stay home and run things not only lacks justification, it goes contrary to all evidence that everything is sufficiently rapped up that they can leave things unattended. The cohesiveness outweighs a massive expansion of manpower and leaving no deputies behind to oversee things in our absence, I feel.
Those hanging bubbles "underneath" are an... interesting design. But the spindle-thing around the engine is cool as heck.
It brings to mind the crown-like portion of Meros' symbol in our second vote. I wonder if they're related. Those hanging bubbles "underneath" are an... interesting design. But the spindle-thing around the engine is cool as heck.
As i have responded with before. I dont care. The ishari are our allies. and I will see them given representation, we have been told by the QM not even all conservatives will hate us for it, to say nothing of the moderates, centrists, and other radicals.just to be clear, those voting to bring the Ishari High Priestess do understand that this will result in more pushback from the conservatives, potentially resulting in our attempt to get the curse acknowledged failing, not only freeing Beil-Tan to resume it's plan of kinslaying us, but also turn it's attention to fea-eresh, and imperil the souls of billions of Aeldari who might otherwise have been saved by the outcome of this Aeldmoot.
I really just can't agree with this. it's a time of crisis in the aftermath of an apocalypse. the Serpent of the stars is a sign of strength to draw in those who need a strong patron to protect them, not a gauche flaunting of wealth and prestige. And finally, we leave the Serpent at home. Because that's flagrant "Look at our luck" and "Look at our power" that'll be gauche, by rubbing the Past Glories in the face of everyone. Teddy Roosevelt said it back in the day. "Speak Softly and carry a big stick; you will go far." The point is doing our best not to shame others with our actions, but if someone flips out anyway, well, we have the stick for good reason.
