Well, if you want some funky loot, you can make a love potion from the tuft of hair at the end of a wolf's tail.

Medieval bestiaries were wild

I do wonder if he might pick up puncture and such on the fly. If he was able to just naturally ve this strong he may be able to easily learn how to puncture, especially since he is about to get a lot of examples on how its done very quickly.

It might be a case of fenriskin have lots of innate power in addition to beimg quick learners.

Remember, the win condition was to survive, not beat him. There may be a reason for that.

Or we might faceroll him. Guess we will find out.

Good god, a Sword made from this guy's Bone Ash, I can't even imagine its potential.

The pelt might legitimately be the better call though, that's a mat that would get the Attention of a a Knightly Armorsmith I imagine, and might be enough to get some elementary instruction so we can work on our Nordic Plate idea.

Muna to grant Twists can't come mid-battle from what we know. He'd probably get it if he survived the battle but, well, 'if'.

This dude might be faking to lure you all in. I'd recommend some caution. Y'all are acting like you've already won.

It's not impossible but it's super unlikely. We got a truly ridiculous number of successes on Tactics here to read the situation, and we've seen no evidence, or reason, this creature would lie about this.

You assume he works the same way as us questors, or as some others have pointed out, that he isnt putting on an act.

I assume that people don't usually get Muna in the middle of the fight, yeah. The world is generally not super different for NPCs in regard to stuff like that and IF has made numerous references to people gaining Muna or other benefits after fights they've been in with us, so I'm pretty sure it does indeed work that way.

And why would he put on an act? He'd allow himself to get trapped in place in order to...what? Make people hoe could already demonstrably hit with his total result of over 1000 not defend as well? Like, there are two options here:

1. This guy is green as grass and not lying.
2. This guy has no need to lie so why would he?

Like, this critter's dice pool is such that him lying is surplus to requirements unless he has a huge weakness like the one just demonstrated.

Bruh im just sus that a big boss fight is such a pushover. Im expecting a twist to justify the "survive" battle condition. And toying with your prey seems like a in theme twist for how arrogant he was.

Expecting him to still be a challenge and not just a "fenriskin are scary... if they actually get some experience."

Though that would make for good reasoning as to why the pack had to be dealt with fast.

I mean, there's an OOC thing from the QM saying 'get his ass, team!' I think that's a good indication that there's not some deep and sinister IC plot in motion.

If there's anything scarier than this guy around, it's probably being thrown down with by the actual Peak Fighters.

The win condition is "survive" because we've got a metric butt-ton full of allies on their way. If there were innocents nearby or important infrastructure etc. nearby we might have to kill or incapacitate him but we don't have to worry about any of that here.
