Odr is the magic that empowers runes. Runes are the force that shape fate. Shen from Forge/Threads of Destiny might be a very appropriate comparison.
One of the theories I had not-even-half-developed was that we might end up growing a mini-Yggdrasil in our soul. It would be interesting to see what happened if we found something to plant in the water.
That's a good catchIt's a Well. An unshaped and raw one, but a well, I'm almost sure.
Full, but her Aspects were spent
He was dressed up in rags as a joke, to show that he was alright.Huh. How'd Stigr's return manifest in a Twist that has us wear rags to hide ourselves?
He was dressed up in rags as a joke, to show that he was alright.
Twists are literally twists in the myth, a plot twist, if you will.
You read my mind. I suspect regulating the flow of such power could be the purpose of the Rosary for Christian cultivators, or at least one of them. Perhaps we'd have a way to know for sure if we had taken the rosary instead of the Bible, but hindsight is always 20-20.I'm not sure it was an attack, per se. It got us exactly what we wanted, even though we didn't know what we were doing. The main problem seems to be we were tapping into a source without any way of mediating the flow - a floodgate with no built-in off-switch.

If you made it in such a way that it could unfold out and cover your owl, yes.For the record I was serious about the question of if our Fylgja can use Hidden In Rags if we actually give it a cute little rag bandana. Can it?
If orthstirr is external, and represents your narrative weight in the story... is odr the power of being a protagonist, whose wild, madness-inspired choices cause the narrative to revolve around them?

Free of charge. Heck, with the development of that twist we can say it's just part of your fylgja nowWould that be an action, or a use of Multi-Craft, or free of charge, or what?
By the way, different form Orthstir, Odr doesn't have a capacity and I suspect it isn't naturally regenerated, which isn't that surprising to be honest, in most cultivation stories you do need to mediate to refill your reserves.
It seems that the Absolute Limit of Odr Gathering in a single session is 7 motes for us in our current state. Further than that is flirting with death. We got a save on that because of Protagonist Power, but we should assume we won't be so lucky next time. Best I think to stick at half of that as an absolute maximum from a single session, and to develop a mechanism to automate the shutdown.
This sounds good to me once she gives birth, I don't think we should do any more Odr gathering until then, though. We can try and figure out how to use it and what to do with it in the meantime, maybe? It's only another turn or two, so not a huge delay in the grand scheme of things.
