And What a Dance it Was (NO SV, War is Coming, Prepare)

@Magoose another random question if you will, does the Valaryian Gods faithful have a symbol they use like the Seven use the seven pointed star?

Does a temple accomodates all the 14 Gods? Do the priests swear to all of them or just one in particular? Do they follow a dress code? Also do they have a book with prayers on in or is more oral memory like the druids did?

Sorry for the questions, its for an omake.

Not really, they just use dragons.

All 14 but most only have the main 3 goddesses. Plus there aren't many temples that they can use.
Do they follow a dress code
No but most are pretty… liberal considering they have had no homeland to speak of to have such a thing, it's mostly local clothing.
Also do they have a book with prayers on in or is more oral memory like the druids did?
Oral as they really haven't had a chance to right them down in the last 200 years.

Well the thing that Daemon said is right:

"We're the blood of Old Valyria. We don't belong anywhere."

Let's leave it as to why the Valyrian people and faithful haven't found anything.

To use a historical comparison: they are in a diaspora. Only there is no Israel to return to. There is nothing left of that world. They can only live and survive in this new one.

Well, technically there is an Israel to return to, but thanks to the experments of our forebears running loose after the Doom, that Israel is filled with things capable grievously hurting even the biggest dragons, and that can do even worse things to a human...

I'm just saying, that place is literally Hell on Earth.

So, I'm discounting such things, for reasons I'm sure is understandable.

Also: I may return sooner rather then later, for reasons that will soon be shown

Yeah, one of the only goods things about having Valyria being the hell on Earth, in the age of heroes is that plenty of rookie heroes (and a few veterans) will take their chances of an adventure in Valyria, and that is going to significantly cull down the amount of "heroes" that we have to face...

Good to hear that!!! I wonder if it is because at this rate we are a couple of turns away from deposing the Emperor I'm your other quest :V

Only for them to encounter the maddned children of Saera already in there like a some sort of hidden boss.

Well, volcanic Island then...

I assume that this means that the Hiatus will end soon?

Guess we will be having a plan to build the Castle soon.
There is a keep, but it was nearly destroyed during the landing and taking of the island

The Northmen were very efficient in taking it.
Hey, if there are hotsprings there (which is very likely since an active Volcano is there) we are calling dibs on them...
I've rolled for them

D100 => 96 #Hotsprings

They are the most extensive Hotspring network system in the western world, outside of Winterfell.

There are more Japan-like hot springs in Leng, but that's tens of thousands of miles away.

Home and Family:

Sunstone: You had long wished to be close to a home, and the Volcanic island of Sunstone has been a place that all would believe would be perfect for a dragon rider's seat. But the keep was damaged in the assault, and it would take years to rebuild and populate it.

You took a long look, breathing in the volcanic air as you examined the slopes. The Keep had holes through the two main walls from the assault, and the many corpses of the defenders were being clawed, pecked, and ended by the crows, the seagulls, and the men looting corpses. Sure there were many things that were here now. But you exhaled and took a moment.

Grey Ghost sat beside you, his head resting and you used him as a rest. "Oh don't be like that my friend, we finally have your own volcano all to yourself with Syrax."

The Ghost snorted, letting out steam and smoke as he relaxed. The Dragon had been growing lazy since he was able to make a cave his own in the Volcano.

You learned quickly that the Volcano was active, but the lava flow was always away from the keep and the coastline, and that… Dragons could swim in it. When the lava came out, Grey Ghost went into it as a child jumps into a puddle. You had to make sure everyone stayed away from that side of the island, to not get hit by a superheated rock.

But it also made you notice the many things that occurred with Syrax and Grey Ghosts…. Mating patterns.

They were almost always together now, same with you and Rhaenyra. Though something was wrong.

They both were waiting for something, and you didn't know what it was.

You looked over to see Rhaenyra and Alicent, writing down letters and making plans. You wanted to talk to them, but the entire thing was the same.

Wondering what to name the babes. What you will do for them when everything came to a head.

Wondering and fearing for the worse.

You wanted them to feel safe.

Yet you couldn't promise them that. Not anymore.

You no longer had them to worry about anymore. You had much more.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
The Hotsprings was almost entirely underground, and they were careful. It was a strange thing to see their work, but they were comfortable to the touch, pleasantly so, even when there were others that were not comfortable. Finding them too warm.

But to you, it was nearly impossible to get out of it, it soothed your bones, made your skin crawl, and relax all at the same time. And it made you feel closer to your dragon, it was like feeling fire.

Though even in your senses, you saw both your wives relaxing here. And you knew where you were going to fuck next. Not nearly as adventurous, but you could see it now, playing under the water, coming up for air before you-

No, not right now

Once the children were born and it was safe to do so.

In a hotsprings… you think that no Targaryen had done that before?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

You looked at the Meeting hall and felt the energy of the party.

All the commanders and men were drinking like the world was soon coming to an end, victory was yours and now they were waiting for loot, coin, and cleavage that awaited them.

Most were going to be going home, or using their fortune to start a new life somewhere warm.

Yet still, there was much to be given.

Daemon had taken his cut of the treasure and reclaimed Dark Sister. His honor was restored.

Yet now, you have choices to make.

What is your Reward:

(Choose 2)

[]Dominion of the Stepstones: While Viserys might choose someone else to rule, you want to make sure that it is you. You wish to rule. And you shall. (Gain the Stepstones and are the Prince of the Stepstones. With all the problems and privileges that it has) (Note: If this is not chosen, there will be a d3 rolled, between Daemon, Valaar, or you, to get control of the Stepstones)

[]The Colonization for a People: The Valyrian Diaspora was mitigated with Aegon's conquest, but many find that the land of Westeros, is foreign, and not for them. This will be a new home. Perhaps not a Valyria. But it will be a place for them to come.

[]Choose your Vassel Houses: You want to reward the islands to the people you want to have. (You must write in the houses you wish to reward, and they will. Below. There are 8 islands to pass out)

[]To Build a New Keep: You want the Crown to pay for the repairs for the Keep, or rather, to destroy the old one, and build you a new one. (Place the Image for what you want it to look like in a spoiler below this vote)

[]A Fleet: You want your own fleet. Perhaps Viserys can repay a favor and give you ships to defend this new territory.

[]Religious Exceptionalism: While Freedom of Cult is the law of the lands of Westeros, you wish to have the Valyrian faith have a safe haven for their belief, one that was never allowed outside of a few places in Westeros. (this will make the Valyrian faith legal in the Stepstones, instead of tolerated as decreed by Westerosi law. Keep that in mind)

Birthing Rolls:
Alicent:D100 => 62
Children's survival roll:D100 => 97
Child Gender Roll:D2 => 2 (It's a Girl!)

Alicent gave birth first, and it caught everyone by surprise. And it was a long labor. Nearly half a day. It nearly killed her at least, that was what you thought as she tried to hurt you by trying to squeeze your hand to break it.

She cursed almost the entire time, and it was surprising that the ladylike Alicent Hightower… could swear like a sailor.

The First birth is always difficult for a mother, as your own mother always said. That a young body, that has not finished growing, can sometimes have complications.

Or the babe will be too much.

But Alicent had a birth that left her tired and weakened, but she would recover quickly. And it was perfect because you did not have your mother to help ease the birth.

However, there was something amazing about seeing your child…

Your little girl.

Your most precious thing.
----------------------------------------------
Rhaenyra:D100 => 89
Children's survival roll:D100 => 73
Child Gender Roll:D2 => 1 (It's a boy!)

Rhaenyra had an easier birth, but you didn't know how to chalk it up to.

But she was very much happy that it occurred after Alicent, there was a fear that she had… seeing Alicent get through it made her no longer have fear.

It was important for her because it was a very fast birth. Only an hour.

But she gave birth to a healthy, beautiful baby boy.

What do you name your Daughter?:

What do you name your Son?:

Sorry, how is that technical difference going to affect us?

Sorry, how is that technical difference going to affect us?
It means there will be Valryian worshipers, meaning if any become dragon riders... they get bonuses that the Valyrian religion gives.

Also, it means that we are not subject to the whims of the King of Westeros for say... Deciding we're devils and decides to kill us.

So preventing a religious conflict that would make Franec and the thirty years war look tame.
