You know, is there any source that actually says that? I'm aware it's a common idea in the fandom, but as far as books go, does anything ever say that?
I recall there being an adventure hook in Night's Dark Masters, where the PC's have to unearth a Lahmian conspiracy to have one of their vampires become head of a convent and act the part of an abusive taskmaster, thereby causing folk to not support the Cult of Shallya and give the Sisterhood a greater grip on society.

...Yeah, it sounds roughly as dumb as it did when I first read it.

Sure, but that's a singular example of infiltration. It's very far from "there's loads of Lahmians in the Cult of Shallya"

there was one character (Karlotta Herzog) from one book(Ulrika the Vampire), and a throwaway line in dark masters that the sisterhood does that to every cult, not just the Shallyans.

I must say though, most people who voted for multiple things but included Grey Order lately seem like they voted against their interest to me. Except if the additional options were more like pity votes than a serious hope that they get mentioned alongside the Grey Order.

Seriously, nothing against the option, but Grey Order has currently more than double the votes of any other Order. And it's bound to get more from all those people who don't want anything mentioned alongside it and potentially make it more likely for Eike to choose something else after all (which is a totally valid stance to have by the way). But if that's not what you want then maybe vote to make what you do want more likely.

In order of preference. Removed other votes.

Edit: If we want to play the really long big brained game we could have Eike become a Priestess of Shallya by picking the Divine/Clergy option (she's a follower of Shallya) and then ask her to reverse our aging, Ranald style a few decades later. I say really long game because we are regardless going to live longer than most humans. This would just stretch that out even more assuming we didn't acquire alternate methods. This isn't a serious suggestion but just something that is very theoretically, probably possible.

I kind of get where you're coming from, but I'm pretty sure Boney doesn't appreciate that sort of tactical voting. If someone genuinely prefers "let her choose" to Grey, then voting for only that in a direct competition makes sense. But if they want to see both options appear, they should vote for both. The vote is about communicating the preferences of the thread to Boney, and that works best if people are honest about what they want. Boney isn't a dumb machine, and he reads the thread. If Grey wins, but a significant number chose Eike and Grey, we'll probably see a scene slanted like this. "Grey is best because X, but Eike should have her own say". On the other hand, if they vote for only Eike despite wanting both, and then grey wins (and it's not super close), then that might get dropped, because Grey xor Eike (that is, one of them but not both) is not such an easy thing to put into a scene.
