Numbers yes. Staying in cities? Not really. Wilhelmina chooses to stay in urban areas but its not particularly more difficult to run a trading concern from an isolated place provided its on one of the trade routes in question. Indeed a travelling HQ can be a large boon in early modern economic systems like the Empires. And I don't think Numbers are *that* hated by Ambers given Dragomas and the fact that they do in fact take part in the academic culture of the collages.One thing against the Ambers is that Eike either has to give up on the EIC, which goes against the sense of responsibility instilled into her and also sucks really bad for Wilhelmina, or she has to spend the rest of her life doing a lot of stuff that clash with her (wind induced) preferences. Running the EIC is going to involve a lot of numbers and staying in cities.
