Nope. @Fean'Na still has that vote which misses the 'l' off Asarnil. Putting the Everyone vote in the lead.
How is that an eagle? This is the symbol of the Gold Order. It is not an alchemical symbol, it is actually an eagle.
Fairly sure if Mathy got a 'Blessing of Sigmar' it would rapidly be replaced by a 'Sigmar-shaped blessing of Ranald'. Possibly in the shape of a new item.If it were compatible with her soul's nature as a Wizard, I think she'd accept and use it, she hates Sigmar but she's also very practical, she's not going to spurn a useful tool because of it's origin unless it's tainted by dhar or Chaos. Biggest problem would be that it might be in conflict with our relationship with Ranald, he might be okay with it as a temporary thing during a crisis but we seem to be in an implicit monogamous spiritual relationship with him, he might disapprove if we start accepting other gods blessings.

Okay, maybe they say that their symbol is an eagle somewhere, but that does not look like an eagle.
They know how other races use cavalry.Have any of the dwarves led cavalry? Ever? Do they have any idea what to do with them?
Just asking because putting cavalry directly under the command of a dwarf who may not listen to them at all and had no idea how to use then seems like it would be suboptimal.
Yes and no. It's big and flat, which is in theory good cavalry terrain, but the landscape is riddled with Chaos bullshit and the farther we spread out over the landscape the more risk of bad mojo magic corrupting or hurting us somehow. Why is that? Steppe is as good as it gets for commanding cavalry.

And whoever the knights put forward as their rep will almost certainly be better at leading cavalry than Mathilde.Theoretical knowledge is a bit different from being a top tier human commander. Borek is likely worse at commanding troops or combat in general compared to Mathilde even before factoring in him not being familiar with mixed troop armies.
We are not choosing cavalary leader. We are choosing general staff. Mathilde is better choice I feel because of this. And whoever the knights put forward as their rep will almost certainly be better at leading cavalry than Mathilde.

And who ever is leading the knights is still probably better commander overall. We are not choosing cavalary leader. We are choosing general staff. Mathilde is better choice I feel because of this.
Yeah, it's not about the frontline commander, it's who sits in on the general staff meetings. Will it be one person for the imperial forces as a whole, or the mageforce and dragonforce having one and the horseforce having another. The dragonforce having their own seems unlikely at this point. And who ever is leading the knights is still probably better commander overall.
Mathilde may be good, but this is what the knights do, it is their focus for more than it is Mathilde's.
I don't think it really matters either way, it's more about personal control and what interests the voters, instead of what is the objectively superrior choice.
Given that the word is very closely derived from the original Latin for "horse," it kind of... is "horseforce," just without smacking together the Germanic-language word for 'horse' and a Latin-derived word 'force' because they happen to rhyme in modern English. And yes, I know there aren't any horses. But horseforce rolls off the tongue so well. How is it that anyone uses cavalry instead of horseforce, and how have I discovered this only now? I will be using horseforce any chance I get, because I enjoy saying horseforce.
Horseforce.

Alsosome ofour cavalry don't even ride horses.
I vaguely recall that it didn't, because they already considered us head of the head of the K8Ps Mage Guild, which means grandmaster by default (similar to Gotri's situation).Does anyone know if our pay from Belegar rose when we got promoted?
That sounds like the kind of thing that would fit in very well with the Dawi Guild mindset.
I don't think we have any horses. There's kittybirds, wolfs and chunks of magic. Maybe some of the wizards used some, but I don't think the main combat forces have any.
Winter Wolfery is quite excellent. The correct term for this situation is Demi-gryphonry and Winter Wolfery.
Technically we don't even have cavalry, since cavalry is only for horse-mounted forces. Camel riders are called camelry, and elephant riders called elephantry. So the expedition has no cavalry at all, but it does have demigriffry and wolfery.
