That was... something else.
The Supreme Patriarch outright sounds like a legendary lord (as he well should). Nice political goal/activity, too.
The Grey Patriarch (and wow, former Supreme Patriarch!) seems awesome. I really like his quirk of keeping an artistic record of Destruction armies he ruined. And pocket-dimensions that serve as inbox and outbox.
Ranald is sure playing silly buggers. What I don't understand is how the timeline of "Gabrielle's" survival works.
She, what? Managed to slip through the witch-hunt five years ago, became a courtier in the meantime, and about a year ago Ranald supercharged her chance probability to such degree that she became Imperial Consort?
So, Drachenfels stirs, something in Ostland went FUBAR, other Elector Counts are useless. The one thing remaining to complete the rosy picture is for either Skaven to invade Nuln or for Malagor to whip up the Beastmen something fierce.
A heartfelt moment with Roswita. The coming tide of super-killy debatably sane mages will be a trial, I imagine. But still, it's looking a lot brighter for her.
a. The tide of super-killy mages is on her side, and thanks to Mathilde there are easy targets to point it at.
b. She's going to confiscate (and execute) the hell out of Southern Stirland, which is still the richest part of Stirland, which means that there might be enough place in the budget for an additional army to be raised and supplied.
Mathilde really scoped out Karagril. If current warboss is assassinated, there will be significant infighting. Of course, dwarf assault would unite them, but a timely strike, a day or two after orcs have started to fight each other and started to accrue losses would be devastating for them.
Liber Mortis has been read. Huh. Mathilde learned more about how to counter Necromancers (or to become a Big Bad in her own right) than about magical theory. I mostly expected for it to pan out like that.
Vlad seems to have really respected Frederick van Hal.
In any case, I really hope that for the purposes of this quest that Morr and Usirian are separate entities. That tidbid of lore always irked me.

PS. This is the third time the site crashed on me. Dammit Boney, that's why you should update when all these Yankees are asleep.
