[ ] [SPIDER] The We can be allowed to scutter off into the Underway, never to be seen again.
The safe option. Open the door, let them scuttle out and be done with them. No risk, no reward.
[ ] [SPIDER] The We can be a powerful military ally against the greenskins.
Always good to have allies when facing enemies that outnumber you severely like this. There's a trick to it, as goblin spider-riders are a thing so I suspect they have some...I hesitate to say 'institutional knowledge' but some familiarity with how spiders work, but it wouldn't be a terrible option.
[x] [SPIDER] The We can be a powerful military ally against the Skaven.
As with the greenskins, good to have allies when facing foes without number and with the added bonus of not worrying about Skaven spider-riders. Of the two military ally options, I'd say this is the one to go for. Not my preferred option however.
[x] [SPIDER] The We can be a welcome addition to the multispecies community of Karak Eight Peaks.
It would be a risk, but a potentially profitable one. We would need some way to maintain communications, which would likely be either 'keep the Ambers on staff to serve as translators' or invest in a magic item that lets you talk to spiders (which might be the better route even if we stick with keeping the ambers on-hand). Aside from (probably?) benefiting from limited defensive alliances ("We will help defend this peak if attacked"), just having a source for spider silk and their venom would be a nontrivial trade good and crafting material. I don't know what the chemists could do with it, but I imagine the rangers wouldn't turn up their noses at paralytic agents that could slow down, say, a troll or ogre. This is the higher risk, higher reward option and I'd advocate for it.

"Just the facts,
ma'am your highness."
Overall, while I like the idea of bringing them into the community of Karak Eight Peaks, I suspect "military allies against the Skaven for now, with the potential for later integration if they prove themselves reliable" would be a much easier sell to King Belegar.
[ ] [UNDUMGI] Oswald Oswaldson, Imperial veteran
Looks like this is advancing the Undumgi as a military asset along Imperial lines. Probably not a terrible choice for that, and given that he's apparently a Wissenlander probably won't have too much friction with the dwarfs. Possible he'd lean on the Engineer's Guild to let them play with prototype toys ("It's only been in the works for a few decades, and it still needs maintenance every seven years like clockwork, but...well, a few field trials might be just the thing for it.") but I'd hesitate to unequivically advocate for that.
[x] [UNDUMGI] Francesco Caravello, Tilean ex-merchant
I'm thinking this leader would advance the Undumgi as merchants and traders. Good for convoy escort but probably not military assets, favoring Tilean Dogs-of-War pattern 'hire mercenaries to do the dying' military, but for a place that has the potential to be as wealthy as Karak Eight Peaks that's unlikely to be a particular hardship. We'd probably want to get Heidick here sooner rather than later to help keep an eye on him but I'm sure that between the Dwarfs' reputation for being tough but fair, a grey wizard's reputation for knowing everything you don't want them to know, and a Ranaldan underworld I think we could keep a lid on him.
[ ] [UNDUMGI] Soizic, Bretonnian Questing Knight
The Bretonnian I'm of two minds about. She's likely the best cavalry option we're going to find, and Ranald knows the Dwarfs aren't likely to bring cavalry of their own, but I don't know what to expect of her as a leader. Besides, as a Questing knight she's supposed to, you know, quest. It's possible that she will up and leave one day (possible but unlikely). Maybe keep her as a cavalry commander but not leader of the Undumgi?

Being the one to recommend someone for the job and being seen to play kingmaker improves our stature in the community. If authority flows from the penthouse, then let it be seen to.
I suspect that the two that aren't chosen for the Undumgi aren't going to fade into the woodwork, but become the #2 and #3 people among the Undumgi.
[ ] [ARMOUR] It should be worn by the first Ironbreaker of the reborn Karak Eight Peaks
"We are up-and-coming, we are mighty, we have prestige." Not terrible, but while I certainly want to see Ironbreakers in Karak Eight Peaks one suit of armor isn't quite enough to make more than a morale difference.
[x] [ARMOUR] It should be reforged into a worthy commemoration of the Karak's rebirth.
"Karak Eight Peaks lives again, we wrested the mountains from the grobi and this armor from the raki." A bit better, but melting something old to make something new probably causes a bit of grumbling. I could be persuaded to support this, but I don't quite yet.
Fake edit: the narrative of the taking of Karak Eight Peaks and a legendary weapon has played to my heartstrings.
[x] [ARMOUR] It should be returned to the Hold it was stolen from, to build strong ties among the Karaz Ankor.
Ties among the Karaz Ankor are important, moreso for a young hold and especially for one as potentially divisive as King Belegar is liable to make it. I argue that the diplomatic gains are more important than armor or a commemorative plaque, let the Worlds Edge Armor be returned to those from whom it was taken.

If there was anything that was dwarf business, it would be this. Much as the dawi like Mathilde, a studious silence may prove the prudent course of action...but silence isn't what I'd want to hear.

Saves money, but at the expense of knowledge.
[ ] [LIBRARY] Write-in.
I eventually want the Library of Weber to have similar connotations to the Library of Alexandria, but that's for something in the future. For now, 'hundreds of silver spent on trashy romance novels' sounds like an entirely reasonable expense. And if we invest in Bretonnian novels we could use that to teach ourselves the language of Chivalry!

Saves favor, and we'll want to keep some saved up for a rainy day.
[ ] [RUNE] Write-in.
That said, favor unspent is favor unused, and while we can deed our worldly possessions to people I believe the dwarf favor evaporates on death. We'll have to spend it on something, and while I'm not swayed by arguments about getting a fancy new sword (I'm still hoping to make an Occam's Greatsword of our very own) I think we could spend favors nudging things here and there.

If we're keeping the spider-bros, we'll want someone able to talk to them. We could keep the Ambers for that purpose, but while I'd love the opportunity to bring them and Panoramia under our wing as well I don't know that the thread would rejoice at the loss of personal actions, however justified. So instead "do you have a magic 'talking to giant spiders' we could borrow for a few decades" seems like something the Amber Brotherhood would be okay with us asking for in light of us looking after their journeymanlings for a few months. Two (or three?) favors well-spent in service to the forces of Order, if only for a modest gain.
Also some sort of cognative enhancements and I seem to recall aspecting the lab spaces were mentioned?
(I'll fill in votes for gear as I can later, but here's my initial votes)
Personally, I'm hoping for something like the Aranea from Mother of Learning.
"Eight limbs, each with a six-shooter. Every spider is a one-being fusilade just waiting to hapen."
