So decision is more about level of trust rather than about anything else.
Should Mathilde trust people... er, Dawi... that much?

"I talked to some of the gangers that have been shooting up the neighbourhood, and they really liked that crack. Got them started with the whole lifestyle.""Hey Grandpa Kragg, I hear one of the family moved to LA and started pushing crack. How do you feel about that?"
...
"Huh, I wonder why Belebro is making those hand gestures over his throat. I hope he's okay."
The vote is really about whether Mathilde have courage to trust B
Humans? Maybe not. Dawi? Hell yes! They are Dawi!
You remember how Boney mentioned that a good candidate for place to describe consequences are news from outside world? It means that consequences can affect outside world. Holds included. How is this about trust and integrity? If this had a possible bad effect on the holds or the Dawi Ancestors I'd be all for telling them but this only affect Ranald.
It is worth remembering that Ranald the Night Prowler and Ranald the Protector are only two of his four aspects. He also, in Ranald the Gambler/Dealer and Ranald the Deceiver, has two aspects that work together as THE God of Merchants in the majority of the Empire. Handrich is only worshipped in the Wasteland and Reikland. The largest public sect of the cult is dedicated to this aspect. As a God of Merchants Ranald could also be respected by Dwarfs, at least as far as a human god could be.
Dwarves aren't inherently trustworthy just because they're dwarves. They might be trustworthy because they've been raised right and taught moral fortitude and such, to a greater degree than most humans would be, but assuming that they're moral paragons based entirely on their race is asking for the, like, five slaaneshi dwarves to show up and con you.
Ranald can get those details out, you know. We're close, but we aren't monopolizing his friendship or anything.

Details of happened to Mork are important.
When I've tried to discuss this with Dwarfs, reassuring them that I only wish to help them stamp out the taint of Chaos among their people, their reactions have been somewhat... extreme. Several times, I was told my head would be parted from my shoulders if I ever brought up the subject again
Nah, they are quite close on the spectrum, other end of it would be something like "Teclis tries to elfsplain to Kragg how to be a proper dwarf" or whatnot.

Well, that's....as I said before...
If we dare to put it this way, yes, I think dwarfs will be absolutely peeved. Because holy fuck is that professor a twat who cannot read a room.
edit: really, "just lemme tell you how to deal with chaos among dwarfs; surely I know better than any of you". What did he expect?
You make a Dawi friend and human friend. Who will remain Your friend? Dawi gives his word and human gives his word. Who will keep it?Dwarves aren't inherently trustworthy just because they're dwarves. We have no idea whay consequences may be - but there is enough to know that there may be consequences. Mork interfered on battlefield. That huge fist. Sure, he fumbled - but he did act. They is no saying whether he'll act again. He might. It is personal to him now. And just recall greenskin reaction to events in Karag Nar, where kicked anthill comparison comes to mind. What prevents Mork from directing greenskins to reinforce K8P? Just to spite Mathilde, Dwarves and all the expedition? How does telling the Dwarves that Mork had some power taken change things though? The Orc's are still active in the world and it's not something that they can leverage in any reasonable time frame.
Oh god, I don't know who's winning anymore, and I don't care either. This is just going in circles. Very stupid circles.
@BoneyM Please put a stop to it? It's not going to get any clearer, and this is just painful.
I see the coming up with reasons to dismiss a source process has started.
It is a shame really, their taciturn nature prevents them from employing my expertise to their advantage
It doesn't, telling them that Ranald did it does, since that's more people believing in and talking about Ranald beating Greenskin Gods. That's an important thing on its own due to the narrative effects of the Warp. How does telling the Dwarves that Mork had some power taken change things though? What are you on about? This false dilemma is irrelevant to the situation at hand. Besides which, loyalty isn't what's at issue. You make a Dawi friend and human friend. Who will remain Your frient? Dawi gives his word and human gives his word. Who will keep it?
Ranald knows how to Ranald better than we do. If he'll get a boost from publicizing this incident, he's most certainly going to tell the people who this will matter to; that's not even a stretch, he literally just gave us a divine artifact that does that exact thing for us, as one of its four separate effects. It doesn't, telling them that Ranald did it does, since that's more people believing in and talking about Ranald beating Greenskin Gods. I don't' agree with that kind of thought process for god related things. If everyone thought that he'd just handle his own stuff, why worship him? It doesn't't help him and he can handle it on his own.Ranald knows how to Ranald better than we do. tell is ahead by three votesSo what is the Silent vs Tell vote looking like at the moment?
