Preliminary plan. Thoughts and suggestions?

[X] Seek out Most Devout Ollidor, but not to arrange a meeting. At least not yet.
-[X] Once Ollidor is located, surreptitiously determine what manner of magical paraphernalia he might possess, whether or not he is warded, and if possible, whether or not he has any magical talents of his own.
-[X] If Viserys determines that it is feasible, use Brain Spider to thoroughly explore Ollidor's mind, examining any memories he feels are relevant and searching for how best to manipulate the man or simply to gain his trust.
--[X] Depending on what we learn from the man will determine how we proceed, whether we attempt to arrange a meeting as Dywen, Viserys, or both.

Why have we revealed ourselves to Lucan?
Why haven't we finished dealing with that angel's involvement, if it looking over Grafton was such a bad thing?
What's that going to change in our plans?
...Did we have any plans to begin with?

I was always assuming that Azel would be spearheading this and excited for detailed plans on fucking with these people.
I'm not really interested in conclave as it is now, sorry @DragonParadox. Your writing has little to do with it, but rather I've just lost motivation to follow that particular plotline :/

You could always write Minor Actions as usual, shorter chapters, and have them be 3rd (maybe even 4th? :V) a day?
They are Minor for a reason, imo.

Also, I'm adding
[X] Question the Abishai and Mages captured in Oldtown.
-[X] Utilise the full array of effects - Dominate for mages, Brain Spider for Abishai, learn everything Lormar and his apprentice know of magic, Tiamat's forces, places of power, intrigues, powers other than Tiamat, names of Outsiders, etc.
--[X] Have Lormar transcribe his full knowledge of magic under effects of Dominate, not unlike that Tyroshi cultist, whose knowledge now helps Inquisition to root out Daemonic cults.
--[X] Question Abishai on True Names it knows, all it's knowledge of magic, everything about forces and intrigues of Tiamat it knows, and everything else of use that it has the knowledge of (other Powers, treasures, strategic locations, etc.)
--[X] Once Abishai is throughly questioned, have it bottled again.

Yeah but I mean, your lack of interest doesn't really make this issue any less important. All throughout the quest, since Bloodraven first approached us and we decided we were going to be full-bore on our magic instead of keeping it on the downlow, we always knew we would have to deal with the Faith.

I've barely been paying attention because of work and I know exactly what is going on, dude.

Edit: Also, as far as revealing ourselves to Lucan goes, I'm not sure if I put in my vote for that, I assume I was around to do so, but I think the intent was to create a chink in his angel armor to exploit, which we did. But we do need to further capitalize on that instead of just waiting until the appointed day, because push comes to shove it'll be hard to exploit that crack while surrounded by the Conclave attendees.

  1. No need to apologize If you do not feel like voting on something that is perfectly fine. I'm aware that not every plot-line can fit all tastes
  2. I don't really want to make that sort of meta distinction, but like I said the two updates are not set in stone. I could easily see myself going up to three when the subject matter is not particularly heavy or complex to plot out. Not today though I'm really drained mentally and emotionally.

...I just abstained from voting on this thing, while saying that I don't understand what is happening in the chapters/votes of this plotline anymore, all the while expressing that I'm more-or-less okay with that and continuing to play the quest, making MAs more organised in particular.

I don't quite get the accusatory tone I read from your post.

Maybe I'm just tired from IRL and in-quest bullshit of last few days, all the while suffering without 2 out of 3-4 people I feel to have built up some good rapport in this quest.

It's good to hear that you're feeling better about things. This morning was definitely a low point, and it's always great to see recovery from those :)

Anyway, stealing plan from @Goldfish here and adding on Dany scoping out the Septa.

[X] Plan Gold and a Child's Faith
-[X] Send Dany to seek out Elder Septa Maer in the guise of a beggar girl, relatively unknowing of the Seven and scared by the swirling rumours following the raid on the Smith's Sept.
--[X] Apply full anti-True Seeing measures to Dany and ensure she has any social buffs she might need for this mission.

Keep in mind that Dany can do many things and is good at deception, but that one thing, appearing as a regular child, has always been something she's not good at.

If I am correct our end goal is
1. Splinter the faith so they are less annoying.

We mean to achieve this by
2. Making Lucan look coo coo for coco puffs. (Also lots of bribery and chaos)

So how can we turn Lucan knowing of us to our advantage...

Yes, there is not super elaborate detailed, step by step plan. We're not quite winging it, but we're not quite mapping it out. Azel probably didn't even have more than cliff notes, based on what he kind of wanted Dywen to talk about at the Conclave itself.

I mean this is just back to the old days where we were working without sparksnotes and powerpoint presentations and all that bullshit. Barely any difference.

So I'm a touch annoyed because it's not as if we're incapable of carrying on without their input.

Well there is nothing stopping you guys from making a general plan for the conclave, there are still a few more days before it starts never mind ends.
