He had better be damn useful to justify keeping his head after this.

If he's not I vote we throw him into the fungus forge, alive.

Poetic justice and all that.

Oh my god do we want to meet Lucan? I kinda want to fuck with him but we made a promise not to pick a fight so maybe we could just infiltrate the Citadel?

No. We're here to fuck with the faith and if we're fortunate kill the bastard on the way out. Letting him know we're here defeats, basically everything we've been doing to stay hidden.

Meeting with the angel might have given us away of course, but that can easily be explained with teleportation, a skill most of our enemies know we possess.

We could go be smug at Lucan.

Tell him "your welcome for clearing out said temple :V".

Or we could try and take a peek behind the mask and see if the madness is real or bluster.

Mmmmm.

From what little we know of him, if we try to meet with Lucan and lead with a promise not to use magic if he doesn't (or some similar offer of nonviolence) would he accept or try to blow our head off?

I am...really tempted to go and troll Lucan, but in the end it doesn't serve any purpose but mindless gratification. So...what was next on the list here?

We're here to make him look like a writhing unblanaced Lunatic so he splinters the faith.

Being smug at him accomplishes that, as does getting him to attack us.

The sellswords who had been captured or surrendered present a more troubling conundrum. Beyond a trio of genuine fanatics for whom you can unambiguously suggest a noose and not the Wall, most have faith in Tiamat in the same way a devour R'hllorite trusts in the Red God, you can see that Dany's explanations of Her true nature are getting though, but still they know more about the worship of the Mother of Wyrms than you would be comfortable allowing in say a publicly available book. Were it not for Maester Aemon's presence and Bloodraven's influence you would probably err on the side of safety over clemency, but the Wall will need strong defenders against what is to come. So you take their oaths not to spread that knowledge, making it very clear that you would take any lapses very ill indeed and hand them off to the somewhat confused but grateful City Watch.
This will bite us in the ass.
Shit, why did I even vote for more clemency-granting options?
*weeps paranoidly*

"Lormar's been working on the poor thing," the girl says, with such venom in her eyes that it recalls the first sigh you had of her outside the dead bounty hunter's cabin. "Why would anyone do this, make something that is just going to hurt? She didn't ask to be born like this." Vee swallows. "I know he could be useful, that he could teach wizards or make things but I can't stand the thought of seeing the son of a bitch. If you keep him, send him somewhere where I won't have to lay eyes on him."
And after this I'm not really interested in recruting the guy.
Brainfucking him into submission, having write down all his knowledge, and then sacrificed seems good enough.

[] Meet with Lucan, he knows you are here after all and it is only polite to introduce yourself

Please don't, @Everyone.
We're here to fuck up the Conclave and fracture the faith.
He is still needed to break up the rest of faith by being his usual paranoidal asshole self.

Alright, I have a PF game in about forty minutes and I'm currently eating. Might get a vote up before then, but might not. Still, I think we want to look at the High Septon's rep. The question is how to approach her, as I certainly don't want to do so as ourselves, and neither Waters nor Dywen is a good mask.

Probably want a disposable one for this.

I mean she has a fondness for the poor so maybe a beggar girl disguise? Dany could pretend to be a beggar girl interested in the faith while calling certain aspects stupid...like a child?

Dany's socials are fine. She's pulled our ass out of the diplomatic fire more times than any other character, actually.

*takes a moment to actually look back at her social stats*

Oh. Statement withdrawn. I'll want to give her the no-True Seeing physical mask though, if we can. Still...actually, let me check this.

@DragonParadox how would Dany take playing the part of a child to gather info on the High Septon's representative? My reading of the character says she'd enjoy it, but I'd like to check. More importantly, would it work?

He is a Wizard so we most definitely have the sum of his arcane knowledge(his spell book) and we have his brain so we have the sum of everything he knows. If possible we could most definitely juice him for everything he know. If he can be redeemed(doubtful) I would want to put him as far away from Vee as possible so probably near the Valyrian wastes is good enough. If he isn't redeemable(hopefully) we can feed him to Yss.

Speaking of Yss he is awake now and we can talk to him now and we have...a few sacrifices, oh the pain of an empty larder.

!!!

@egoo wasn't there something that Yss was dreaming on an answer to for us?

Also RE: Level 11 Wizard, the apprentice is probably not tainted goods by this point, but he's a lost cause. We can't trust him to do backline work, so he's only useful as a battlemage on a short leash, and that's asking for entirely different trouble.

I wouldn't let him take a look at any of our other mages' research notes, and if you employ a researcher who can't benefit from institutional knowledge, what's the point in employing him?

Drain him of all he's worth, information, lore, whatever, then kill his ass.

This is the most likely course I see for this. Unless he knows something seriously valuable that we somehow can't extract.

Using Dominate worked out pretty well for us the last few times we wanted to drain a spellcaster of every bit of knowledge they have before sacrificing them.
