Super Robot Quest

I'd like to hedge our bets on the C-Crystal myself to be honest. It's one more to go, but we know there's actual difficulty classes involved here, and with only one die each, I want to hit that foundational trick as hard as we can.

Hmmm... Would an experimental action be something like seeing if we can replace the electrical systems of the carrier with our K-Scale superconductors? We do have that right? What would it cost, and what sort of things would you expect to come of it?

Because seriously, it's a Super Robot game/setting. And we're making a prototype spaceship from a carrier. If we can't stick a giant 'last ditch' Screw Your Everything! energy cannon on there, we're doing something wrong.
 
One of them uses up all RP and is testing Variable Configuration, the other one has 3 RP left over and prioritises testing K-Class Materials.

K-Scale might be able to make Super Insulators as part of its defensive role, but it probably won't conduct much.

Maybe if we can rip a kaijiu's spine out next so we can get K-material nerves.

Huh That might actually be a good idea for Scientific exploration for the team. We should make a plan for testing just that during the next turn.

Its the Superconductor Nerves that is what is being talked about. We haven't investigated them yet. So maybe next turn if something doesn't pop up from Ichiro's investigation of the case of the missing BB.

Experimental - Psychic Echoes - Wilde and Henry have Sam's notes in hand, and they're also noticing that the Psychic Echoes phenomenon is not just a fluke. This only applies to machinery that is operated with the MMI helmets, but it feels like things are becoming hardcoded physically into the materials depending on what actions the MMI expects out of them. Almost like wearing in a brand new pair of shoes.

It boils down to basic design principles for space-worthy vessels - engine designs, stress tolerances, even some pointers on how to ensure survival in the eventuality of void combat. Max really can't comment much more on it until she's given the time and resources to really dig into it, but from everything she's seeing, she should be able to make something out of this.

So, I decided to start reading through the mangas for one of the Mecha Granddaddies, Getter Robo.

I finished the original and, in the words of a certain Sage, "Oh, Go Nagai. You make some crazy shit, but you NEVER make boring shit!" Seriously, I was surprised at how fucking brutal Getter Robo was compared to the anime I slightly know of.

Now I'm on Devolution and....did Go Nagai watch Evangelion before making this one? Cause those are the vibes I'm getting from it.

Also...Getter Emperor....is that possible for us? I don't think so, but I like to dream...
