Is that supposed to be "Sabine" Torroar?

Whoops! Yes.

A cold, cold day in hell before I let any of the family turn into anything resembling the psychosis and personality of Tywin Lannister.

Note how Magnus got really irrationally mad, but then calmed down and reasoned that such behavior is not worth it, and that the child is worth care and support regardless. He's nowhere close to Tywin Lannister's feelings/treatment of Tyrion from GoT. He was mad, his child seemed unhealthy, his wife was in visible physical distress. But instead of thinking 'a monstrous thing that happens to share my name' Magnus went the route of 'I'm going to love and support the shit out of you to spite the circumstances of your birth'.

ANGERY LOVE

Huh, looks like the count after magnus is gonna be female.

That's neat.

Depends on if any of them awaken to any magic I suppose. I don't know if granddaughter of an Ice Mage is enough to give one a chance, but I wouldn't rule it out. Plus in a magic soaked family like the Hohenzollerns any of the winds could show up. Would be cool to have a Jade Wizard granddaughter, since that's the school we're probably on the best terms with.

Of course, if the reputation of magic improves enough, by the time Magnus dies or steps aside, the Empire might tolerate mages as Elector-Counts. Probably not, but it could be interesting.

We don't know that.

Also, dark.

It's not really dark.

The unsickly candidates are just the better choice by default... not to mention that one of the daughters had seniority on their side without also having magic.

It seems pretty likely that one of Magnus's daughter's will be our next countess.

Teddy Roosevelt was a sickly child with severe asthma in his youth. He exercised and worked through it. Starting out feeble doesn't mean this child has to stay that way.

We may not be able to do anything about the shortness, though. But then again, lots of good food (he'll need it if he's exercising) will get him to grow as much as he can.

"It is not your secret to tell."

"And yet," you say quietly, "I wish to know."

Jurgen wheels on you, but his defiance and strength against Ilse is nothing to you. And he knows it.
Boi you should have heard more then enough stories about what happens when a Hohenzollern REALLY gets mad, to know that trying to keep a secret about how to help the health of The Screaming Bulls Son, is basically a god damn deathwish. You should count your blessings that Magnus had already pushed down his rage before that little altercation started or you'd be dangling from the window with his hands around your neck.

Nah. Not gonna happen.

I figured as much. That's probably a Sigmar and Ulric both descend to the earth to tell everyone it's okay scenario to be even plausible, and even that would be a coin flip to see if they accepted it. The increased tolerance of magic from Magnus and our actions is already more than we could have hoped for.

I also ask that we allow the little one to grow.

Ooh thats a neat reference to make.

I think we should trust the high priestess of Rhya. Magnus is devout, and she knows a thing or two cause she's seen a thing or two.

No, that's just the Udose berserker in him.

I know it's been a bit, but the red angry filter coming over things has turned into a bit of a narrative shared trait thing amongst the Hohenzollerns at this point, I've noticed. When they start getting mad, like really mad, I mean. It's not a trait on the trait list, though I suppose I could add it in. Mechanically it doesn't do anything, it's more shared familial flavor than anything else.
I actually really like that, nice little shared character emotional trait that fits with history.

On another note since it's on his person @torroar could Magnus ask Hiearch and wizards if keeping the Light of Summer near his son won't help better his health over time? We talked about before how it lengths life so I imagine giving it to sickly child early and letting him hang on to it so help improve his health over time in general.
