Forge of Destiny(Xianxia Quest)

[X] Night's Edge
[X] Sharp Note/Yue Shi(to be decided if selected)
[X] Singing Mist Blade

All kidding aside, the chopstick probably isn't the greatest pick. Even if I do like the thought of making Meizhen exasperated.

[X] Night Blooming Lotus Blade

scrambles to stop the bleeding

[X] Sharp Note

scrambles to stop the qi draining

[X] Singing Mist Blade

scrambles to get out of the fucking mist

They're so beautiful.

Lots of interesting choices. Hard decision, but I think I'll go with...

[X] Sharp Note/Yue Shi(to be decided if selected)

[X] Singing Mist Blade

[X] Tailor's Regret

Sharp note has fairly good AP and damage, and fits in very well with a attrition build. Singing Mist Blade for the music buff and the unique spiritual AoE. Tailor's Regret and Night's Edge are very similar, but I'm going for Regret. While Night's Edge has more damage potential, Tailor's Regret is no slouch on damage and AP itself, and I like its special ability and overall aesthetic enough to vote for it over Night's Edge.

Special mention to Real Bat and Lace of Loss. Real Bats buff stealing ability is a really cool concept, but sadly not enough to make my top three. Similarly with Lace, the idea of a weapon that focuses on laying down lots of debuffs rather than straight damage is a really cool idea. Unfortunately, it's not really what we need right now, as Ling Qi already has debuffs pretty well covered by her arts.

I like all of them, honestly.
But I especially love the idea of the weapon being as stealthy as us.

[X] Tailor's Regret
This one we should be able to wear in our hair as well.

[X] Night's Edge
[X] Night Blooming Lotus Blade

Also guys, these stats are rad, right?

It's also a fourth Realm weapon. This are it's stats at Green 1.

Moon loot best loot, Gu have shit patron.

All of these weapons look amazing. However, with only three to choose from, here I go!

[X] Singing Mist Blade
This weapon gives a +5 to music attacks, which dramatically helps our offensive music capabilities. It gives the boost that we desperately need to get our offense to a level where it is potent against our higher-ranked opponents. That being said, it hits spiritual, which is our weakest debuff area, and I do have some concern with it hitting higher-ranked opponents to start its debuff chain. However, should we get to Domain 1 and it is able to begin hitting higher ranked opponents, the debuff chain will be absolutely devastating.

[X] Sharp Note/Yue Shi(to be decided if selected)
This weapon, by merely existing, destroys a counter to the attrition style build. Not great on the offense, but it does have a potent counter that will make people leery of attacking it.

[X] Lace of Loss
This weapon has potential, but I don't expect it to win. Either way, it would simply be too sad if one of these amazing weapons didn't get a vote behind it, and I haven't seen this one being voted for yet. So here it is!

[X] Night's Edge

While both the Blooming Lotus Blade and the Singing Mist Blade have my appreciation, this is the one closest to the hidden assassination weapon I was going for.

6AP + 4 semi-perfect damage makes it nasty against people who can not see it. The 12DV is for just obliterating lower level, high value targets. I understand the wish to be the best duelist. I do. But I'd much rather make us a deadly mobile field of death. With Forgotten Vale up, or Phantasmagoria, once it gets developed, I'll bet you it becomes a nasty, nasty thing.

The main problem with the Singing Mist blade is that it is essentially an extension of us, without our advantages. It has no armor, and no tech to keep it alive, apart from our AoE.

Domain weapons take half damage from non domain, and full from other domain. If I was up against the Singing Mist, I'd kill it in the first turn by focusing it. Health 9, no instant stealth, low damage. It's a priority target for out opponents Domain Weapon, and likely to lose that fight quickly.

We must loot allllllllll the Weilu stuff. All of it. The moon has given us a holy mission to loot the shit out of all of it. :V

Holy hell. Meizhen's weapon must be an absolute monster. Especially since it's basically her attack focus.

Looking at it I've got to pick the Singing Mist Blade. It's description, it's effects, all of it is great. Plus hey! It has a deleterious qi effect!

[X] Singing Mist Blade

I wonder if it becomes a heirloom weapon what it's voice and demeanor will be like.

Just realized something.

In a century or so, we can become friends with our sword so it gets buffed by our Domain.
Bingo, now you're thinking with Domain.

Our Domain is best Domain. BY THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP!

Hey doods, on further thought I dropped a little buff on tailors regret. I got caught up in the concept and lost the effectiveness a bit. It now reduces dex and dodge instead and has slightly higher dv

Neat, that's a lot more effective. I like how it impairs dex offense/defense types more than strength/vit sturdy types, but the latter category is more likely to be immobilized more quickly. Assuming they don't have massive armor. It's neat.

Well with AP 6 on a successful stealth check it will eat through quite a lot of armor. Ours only gets to around 9 if I am remembering correctly. So overall high armor builds aren't a complete counter.
