Guys, seriously. She's got bad judgement, is obviously a zealot, and most of our people are RANALD worshippers!
Is she?

This is the Empire; further, this is Stirland. "Fucking Wizards go home REEEE" is pretty normal. Trying to act as if she's a human wrecking ball based solely on firing a Magic User is pretty questionable.

Further, I'm pretty sure most of the watch was close to mutinying when we tried to introduce Ranald.

There's a lot of silliness with the vote counter.

[X] Plan: Keep Severance Pay, Give everything else
-[X] Give Everything except the Repeater, Discretionary Funds, and Liber Mortis
-[X] Good riddance to Wurtbad; you've got a nice bit of land up in the hills and a commitment to invest in it, and some solitude will do you good. Lock up the Sunken Palace in case you ever need a safehouse in the future.
-[X] Return to Altdorf to face the Magister's tests, and determine what to do with your life later.

I'm not talking about the bloody Watch! Ignore the Watch! I'm talking about our network of informants-you know, the ones that were explicitly worshipping Ranald? The ones that are criminals, thieves, and the poor? The ones that we've had a ton of time to "subvert" and "taint" in the eyes of a paranoid WITCH-HUNTER that HATES MAGIC?

Let's keep in mind that our second in command will probably become her Intrigue Adviser and just ... not mention who her informants happen to be. She's smart enough to just keep things at "we have informants in these locations" if she thinks that would happen to be to her advantage.

I don't recall hiring criminals other than Jack. A good number of the ones we recruited as informants were solid army veterans. Who knows what Julia has been hiring, but that's her lookout now.

Why!? As a memento? I want to keep the hat and brandy flask, both much more personal items. To use? I don't want to spend more time training more weapons. We've got magic snake juice boxes, Shyish swords, and necromantic tomes to investigate. Spells to study. Intrigue to practise. Fog of War (battle) magic to invent. Magister to attain. Enchantment? to practise. Mines and fortified mansions to set up. Plenty to be going in with.
No. The rifle is nice but there is no great reason to take it in my opinion. Other items of his hold far more sentimental value for us.
You've both not mention one good reason as to not keep the rifle.

It is a memento, if not the best one. It is a very good weapon, which we don't need to use.

It costs literally nothing to keep it.

At this point, aren't you arguing for the sake of arguing?

hes talking about the thieves guild which is currently 2 dudes playing cards in the sewers

I don't really want to argue about it.

I'm happy to give it back because it was her fathers. The weapon he used on his final campaign against the undead, with which he killed his final Strigoi (the very same type of Vampire that killing a nest of got him the position of EC in the first place). That is a good enough reason, as far as I'm concerned. Mathilde is a decent person. RvHal has a claim on his gear, probably had less contact with him in her life than we did, and we should not keep effects we have no sentimental attachment to.

Nothing to stop us taking that over, now. ;)

@BoneyM Does the Magister rank bring any great benefits alongside the duties?

It seems to me there's a whole lot of work (dropping everything to put out fires twice or thrice a decade, which can take years each) for little benefit besides prestige.

I call this... Plan Dragon. Some of the benefits of Plan Dragon are:
1) Spite that little tit who's currently dismantling the legacy of the love of our life! Let her taste how foolish she was when she realizes how much she let go and how much she will have to struggle in the upcoming days.
2) Keep Abelhelm's stuff! Aside from being an all-around awesome guy, he was also a smart guy with a wealth of interesting stuff in his stuff. Read it. Keep it. Learn from it!
3) The most important part of this plan is the dragon we're going to hang out with. Dragons are cool. No, dragons aren't just cool - they're Fucking Cool. Why pass up the chance to hang out near one? Why pass up the chance to be even more badass as you gallivant the world? Forget this boring administration business - let's be mercenaries. Maybe we can even try to get our own dragon. I have no idea if it's possible, but ambition is on the table, people.

Where will you call home now?

[X] Return to Altdorf to face the Magister's tests, and determine what to do with your life later.
-[X] Traditionally, a Journeywoman journeys, flexing their arcane might and seeing the world. Find Asarnil and seek instruction in the fine art of being a mercenary - one that only serves the Empire and its allies, of course.

Not sure who the original author of the plan is but would they be willing to change the formatting to the version that doesn't muck up the tally?
Done, finaly managed to make it work, and before I forget.
@Blonddude42, @Warlord D Thoran I changed the name of the plan when I started reformating so if you could revote for consolidation it would be apreciated.

Nothing to stop us taking that over, now. ;)
Except whitout our position as Spymaster and our network we have no inflluence to leverage. So basicaly right now your plan is stoping us.

Would you guys be willing to switch to a Bigger Witch look-alike with the Rifle added in?

Anyone else would join in on that?
I'm almost completely indifferent to both this and the taking random mementos. We have the hat, we have the book, we have a good pistol, I'm not against taking extra stuff but I don't feel any particular need to grab it either.

The only things I want to really keep are the Liber Mortis (obviously), the discretionary funds (almost as obvious) and the Niter factory (those dwarf favors!). To be honest I'd rather take the rifle and leave the contents of the study (simply because the contents of the study will keep the count busy and the rifle can easily be lost) but I mostly just don't really care about the issue.

On a somewhat related note while I don't particularly like the new Elector Count we put a lot of work into helping Stirland and Van Hal and I don't feel like sabotaging them just because we want to be spiteful.

There's been some worry that the Count might decide to go after our friendly informants but I very much doubt that's much of a worry. We won't have actually specifically named or placed any of them in our report, Jack is about to vamoose and there's nothing she can do to Julia. If she wants to micromanage the new spymistress then that's their problem and they can deal with it as they see fit.

Unrestricted access to the College libraries, the freedom to tinker with the fabric of reality with full Imperial sanction, status equivalent to nobility, the right to have apprentices of your own, and damn near complete freedom as to who you sell your services to. Tithes are reduced from 10% to 5% and you regain the ability to call the physical Grey College home and make use of their facilities - vaults, laboratories, workshops, and so on. Plus you can expect anyone employing you to pay quite a bit more for the privilege.

*Is it possible to take the Magister test and then swan away into the sunset? @BoneyM

Sure. All the same options will be available after attempting the test.

Don't mind me, just approval voting. Really don't want to keep that factory, it was under Watch budget and getting attention from Grey Wizard accounts/lawyers is not a good idea.
