Putting up a deferring Alloys Plan to get all those techs done before we delay them for years.
Alloys are good certainly, but doing nothing but Alloys with our HI dice is not good at all.
Also working on lots of different food projects, and some extra stuff to help Karachi go smoother.

The Unique features of my plan start at the bottom with actually transferring funds to InOps early. That gets it out of the way, but still has a reasonable chance of success.
Apropos of nothing, I just wanna say I have a lot of respect for you deciding to do that. I have given almost zero thought to approval-voting yet as of this writing, but you're near the top of my list for approval votes (especially with the fusion thing, which really helps). I'm a bit frowny over your military listings, but for the sake of your other choices I can live with them.

My main beef with catgirls right now is that the stations spit out so much PS that if we don't do -PS mad science, we're just going to end up wasting it. Biosculpting being PS-neutral bumps it down below Occult Investigations and Tiberium Wildlife for me.
We've gone over the cap on PS before, and we can burn it off if we need to. We can allocate our Orbital dice in 2062Q4 so that we make lots and lots of progress on the stations without any real risk of getting +PS from it.

Worst case, we can build a shedload of liquid tiberium plants. Not like we couldn't use the Energy.

(I'm wondering where the "legislative changes for PS" option went? I don't think I see it this time...)

So I'm considering taking a crack at making a plan, and to be clear, we need to leave exactly 100 R in reserve for banks, yes? In addition, are these bits ((-30 from Reconstruction commissions) (-15 from Bureau of Arcologies) (-15 from Consumer Industrial Development)) factored into the equation already or are they something we have to math out ourselves?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer this.
Your analysis is correct.

Others have already run the numbers. We have 1150 R to spend; spending any more would mess up the banks.

Also, to put to question, what part of that smorgasbord of a statement do you think is correct, that there are only four projects that benefit from the departments, or that there is an implication of there being more going on?
The first part seems correct. Some statements I dimly seem to remember the QM making suggest the second might be, but I dunno.

If we are going for Over PS Burners I recommend Enhanced Tiberium Spikes. Not only is this a big PS Burner, it is economy related and we can always use more Tib

My suggestion is that once we finish both Shala and Columbia. We can go after the spikes as we have max PS

[X] Plan Attempting To Grow Cat Ears

Meh. Sure why not. A bunch of stuff I like and nothing I'm really opposed to.

Not thrilled about the bio sculpting but... whatever. Gotta mad science something.

My suggestion is that once we finish both Shala and Columbia.
Most Plans are doing enough on Stations to reach 101 PS this turn already.
No need to wait.

Not thrilled about the bio sculpting but... whatever. Gotta mad science something.
I'm going for it to enhance our cosmetic surgery and prosthetics technology.
We've got a lot of stuff that is functional, but good treatment also gives people something that they like the appearance of.

It should be noted that the same technology that lets people grow, I dunno, a tail or whatever will probably also be really useful for a lot of other things that people who don't want tails would still want.

...

As for burning Political Support, we can burn it off the turn after we get it, so it's not a super top priority. Though personally, my main reason for taking Biosculpt instead of Tiberium Wildlife was because I want to focus tiberium dice on mining and refining, and because Biosculpt appears to be quite popular.

People were being annoying about it, so I cut it.
...Shit.

Was I one of the annoying ones? I barely remember talking about it, I'm hoping no...? :(

On an entirely different topic,
I don't think we need to space out our mad science projects? If there are any that we want to for their own sake, I think we should do them regardless of the ms counter.

There's a functionally unlimited number of them in the pipeline. It's just that only a small subset of projects in a given category will be displayed at a time, and if we want to see more we need to finish some of the ones we already have.

Infrastructure is slow rolling some + Log and finishing the Arcologies

Heavy industry does half an alloy foundry, develops the next gen reactors, slow rolls the vehicle plants, and does the AEVA to help with all the big projects we have here.

Light industry we finish off the wood plants, and start work on Raykjavik.

Agriculture sets up Mechanization and dairy ranches to one dice next turn, and finishes Vertical farming

Tiberium finishes of two stages of vein mining, with a small chance for a third, and coin flips for the expanded green zone

Orbital does two stages of Shala, and has a minor chace to finish off the fusion yard, or leaving it a dice away, and does the Conestoga dev.

Services, does the HI AEVA and a mad science project

Military does another phase of Zone armor, gets the Orca drones out, works on railguns and plasma weapons, develops the Zerbite, and starts work on the laser refits.

Bureaucracy does security reviews in Infra and Tib, Favors for things It is already doing, and gives inOps its money.

While likely nothing more than nonsense, especially the parts that have been disproven by the scientific process, taking a good hard look at the records and materials that have been preserved may find some truths, either about the nature of Kane and his history, or possibly even uncover some knowledge about the universe that was previously misunderstood.

I think putting Erehwon on this project is an amazing idea.

@MightbeaMimic & @Prime 2.0, did either of you notice any plans with that put Erehwon on Occult Investigations?

After much WHF Longbeard style grumbling and scowling, I have edited in votes for Lightwhispers' and Simon_Jester's plans, as they seem acceptable enough.

The GO date for Karachi is probably only a little more than a year from now. There's no way we could invent these things from scratch and have them in mass-produced military vehicles, even on a low level, in time.

We realistically shouldn't expect to have anything for Karachi that isn't already a deployment project, and even those will often not have meaningful amounts of equipment ready in time, depending on exactly which project you're looking at.
The navy also wants a boost for the post landing period where they need to keep the supply line open, new shipyards will take even longer. I hope to do the governor-A refit next turn and the combat laser might get added to that design as refits would be ready sooner than ships from a new yard.
The vehicles are to support the next round of red zone offensives in the years to come as we swap to a zone armor army they going to want vehicles designed for that.

It was fiddly, but I've managed to put together a Plan that does Alloys and still rolls out HI Techs.
Because, if we are getting such a good bonus from Alloys, then we should spend our Free Dice in HI instead of in Orbital.
However, expensive. So I've had to replace Infernium Laser Refits with starting the GD-3 rollout. And I had to drop Dairy. :/
TBH, I still don't think chasing Alloys is worth it until we aren't compromising so much on everything else to do it. But a compromise is sometimes about everyone being equally unhappy.

I don't want to be a single issue voter this turn, as there are many projects I believe to be very important. Orca drones, next gen energy, replusers, Buckler Shields, Dairy Farms...

However, Zerbite Weapons Development is THE critical issue for me, superseding even my preference of Steel Talon projects. I fully believe we can stem the tide of zone armor suit losses with more appropriate tools, not to mention the people inside them, and they are the best bet I've seen.

I'll take a closer look at the plans that do Zerbite Weapons Development later, to see if there's one doing more of what I feel is important, useful or just extremely cool, but this is a must for me.

So @Lightwhispers ? If you could make a version of your plan that does Zerbite Dev, I'd greatly appreciate it.

It was between that and Plasma as my last mil dice but with the extra resources I felt getting Plasma rolled out out as the more expensive option was a better choice for this turn and keep zerbite for next turn when things might be more tight as I want to do the inops hand off and maybe the 30R in grants we promised as well.

We have the min of one per turn, not a cap, also felt that it was worth going min chance to pass that project and then keep on dropping a die a turn until it finishes so that we have it in time for the next set of MARV deployments, also we have a lot of deployments right now so I would like to start putting more of our dev projects into production (plasma was a nice choice here as at 1 die it like gets deployed this turn)

So this is my shitty plan submission which, if you have keen eyes, you may notice is just Simon_Jester's with the serial number filed off (Something something imitation flattery, etc).
The key differences come down to personal bias. I've taken a free die off of personal electric vehicles and put it on Shala as I could care less about the factories but much more about Shala finishing. In addition, I took a die off of the carbon nanotube foundry as I'm not really trying to get it to finish this quarter, even on a blue moon and just want to make some progress on it. My changes to the military side of things are easier to rationalize in my head. I dropped Orca wingman drones in favour of Apollo's and Hammerheads on the rationale that since we already have Apollo wingman drones finished, that would have a much more substantial impact on air-to-air combat, and Hammerheads give better CAS than Orcas as they are more classical gunships rather then Orcas which are weird gunship/jet hybrid thingies. (Plus, their transport capability is nothing to scoff at). This let me put one more die on Zone armor, which makes phase 5 a near guarantee.

Constructive criticism is welcome. (And probably necessary)(Though try to be gentle on my heart, and not eviscerate it too harshly)
