You have done well in that interlude. I am laughing at that possible faces of Other questers who keep seeing mysterious rolls and suddenly they find World's version of Germany in the Empire. It's soo well done XD.

Alternate universe me isn't shit talking the Buffaloes, the nega-quest version of The Yaks, 0/10 completely unbelievable
 
There are two omakes I'd really like to see get written.

1) The Canon Mane Six getting introduced to our Griffonia, and get their reactions and comparisons to their Griffonia.

2) Some Equestrian's firsthand reactions to our culture, and Imperial Family in particular. How would a Unicorn Noble feel about Gleaming and Gwyndlyn being accepted as Royal Lineage? Diamond Dog Nobles? The Hippogriffs? Our Magical Advisors and various boiling pot magical/religious traditions?

those sound like they would be really fun to write about you got anything else that might come to mind for an omake? The little knight story I did was fun, but I feel like going more indepth about that could lead into different forks that don't line up with cannon universe, then again could just go noncannon as could be and have fun with it... Nah that's the way of camelot far too silly. Any who, Any ideas? Maybe something from a knight errant from the Land of Lakes who gets VERY chivalrous upon hearing about the whole Maretonia thing and joins up in the ranks of the army??
 
Well, nega-me is right in wanting to buy tech. It WOULD be one of the first thing I'd point out.

Though really short term I might actually want trains more than cannons. There's few things that can unite a country's people more than actually good infrastructure and fast travel.
 
No Nega-Me, though...then again "I" would probably just get droned out eintirely by the different "camps", so maybe that´s what happened here as well.

EDIT:

No wait, I am the one asking about us "getting Commodore-Perry´d" (a reference I wouldn´t be doing in RL, btw, because I got no idea who that was), after which I just disappear.

In RL, I´d probably use Fallout 4s BoS arriving in Boston as a simile there instead....or something else that´s similar.

also wonder how'd they feel if they learned that in the beginning that people weren't even sure the current king was of royal blood but nobody brings it up anymore seeing how he's doing such a good job and how the divide between nobles and commoners isn't as dividing these days within the kingdom?
