Okay soooooo~! At max, I suppose if somebody drops another +20 on Cold Case, the absolute highest/best chance we'll have on that one is about 88% (not... Perfect, but better than 48% I guess), the other 2 things could be made better with +10s or +15s (or +20s, but I'm assuming those're rarer and less likely to drop on anything but Cold Case if ever). If anything, 2 +10s alone makes the Yak Cannons actions into a 98%, same with 2 +15s on Eyes on the Skies, for example, or less in some cases, but that bare success for Magical Agriculture last turn has left me wary, lol.

So we absolutely need another omake on the cold case to give us the best possible chance and maybe one on the skies to boost it a little.

So, now "Cold Case" has an augmented sucess chance of 68%...do we feel lucky enough to use only the Royal Guard omake (+10%, which raises it to 78%) or sure we go all-in with a +15/20% omake, guys?
 
@Questor Ok, with that both omakes slots for Cold Case have been filled with a +20 bonus each, I think. This raises its success chance to 88%, meaning that everything higher than a 11 will have us suceed.

You know what would be funny? if we end up rolling a Nat 100 for Cold Case, instantly super-critting the option

Doesn't really help to decide which nation Griffonia would be, or even where on the earth they would go. I'd say Griffonia's earth counterpart is located in Russia, or maybe the Olmec.

In total war warhammer, Gryphus is closest to the dwarf empire (long separated into pieces, no magic, start with flight capability).

Why would I copy the geography of other nations/things from other TW titles?

How would anyone write Griffonia as if it were a normal Total War campaign then? The mechanics of the main total war titles don't fit Griffonia or this world well from the main total war franchise. You need factions that have magic, unique units, sorcerer's with bio-tech, strong horde expy with home-brew magic... Those are not in the normal total war campaigns.

Otherwise you'd be doing a civilization campaign. Got my units, throw them at the enemy, computer graphics dance for a second, units die, move on into tech path route. Diplomacy happens, graphics change.

Geography is important for Griffonia as a faction being mountain terrain to start.
