The Heartland has more farmable space so more crops than the defrosting Protectorate(hence why it is cheaper), the 'aggressive' even indicates as much. It costs more because it provides more food, and with the population boom we need a lot of food.

Those Claims are supported nowhere in the Vote And very Open to argument,.

The Crystal Vote could also be cheaper because Part of the full cost is covered by the Protectorate itself, while the more expensive Heartland is because WE have to clear the areas of obstacles Like forests First.

Both And more interpretations are possible And thats why WE should keep to facts.

@Pittauro sry pal, but I think you still havent voted

Eh, votes go on for quite a few days here, so I was in no hurry.

Now, i'm more or less fine with both plans, but I prefer the decentralization of the agriculture. If we're moving less food to the crystal empire we can use that cargo capacity for other things.

In the end we're producing more food either way, so it doesn't make that much of a difference, but the protectorate is where most of the refugees are going to go, so they need the food more urgently.

I also don't really care about selling cannons to the Yak yet, though I'm not actually against it. Just Indifferent

Differences between the plans:

yak cannons Vs emerald isles emissary

Aggressive agricultural expansion Vs crystal agriculture

Pet rock project Vs riddle of the labyrinth.

...in the end I also think we should check the minotaurs sooner rather than later.

That´s a point I completly overlooked, actually...even more reason to go for my plan.

The Crystal Protectorate is under-developed already and now it has to juggle the Maretonian refugees as well, meaning that any need (food) production we intend to set up would be best placed here to both address the Maretonian surplus and ease the pressure on the rest of our infrastructure.

EDIT:

19 - 11 in favor for Plan: Good Assassin Hunting (this time with More Runes) v3, btw...come on, guys - be smart.

You do realize that this is all just for fun right and that some times what is in your opinion the best plan doesn't always win. So just enjoy the ride as it goes.

Problem is, that my opinion wins *almost never* and I long since grew tired of being ingored while people are "enjoying the ride"...I simply wanna be acknowledged as not a complete imbecile once in a blue moon.

I didn't notice that the rock plan doesn't have Emerald Isles Emissary. Can anyone tell me the reasoning for talking to the Caribou before talking to the Diamond Dogs?

Because Neighpon's already met the Emerald dogs, diplomatically-speaking. As far as things stand now, there's no contact with the Caribou other than what's happening with the Emerald Isles, but that isn't exactly contact so much as raiding parties and like, one (1) Caribou colony that we know exists, and as far as we know nobody we know or who knows us has contact either. So basically my plan has us getting the jump on diplomancing the other side, essentially. And hopefully, we could coordinate diplomatic info with Neighpon with the Emerald dogs, and get the whole picture.

By that logic, we don´t need to meet the EDs either, since Neighpon travelled there as well.

We need to make our own impression on and at both the EDs and Caribous to nip any diplomatic problems springing from our Maretonia-derived bad reputation in the bud , guys.

We construct additional pylo-..... I mean Omakes.

Cold case needs fuel!

For thematic reasons I´d like to have "Maretonian Royal Guard" (+10) slotted in and after that either a +15 or maybe even a +20 if we got one of those.

Right now, our stats boost sucess chances for "Cold Case" from 35% to 48%, meaning thatwe definitely should use at least one of the high value ones - if not two of them (point value beats thematic flavor in the end since WE NEED THIS OPTION TO SUCEED)

I don't recall you ever being an imbecile here. I've made plans for this quest numerous times and I don't think they have ever won. It dosent mean your any less intelligent for it. That's just the nature of the beast. You shouldn't get tired about it.

It´s just, that trying to minmax stuff and being as efficient/pragmatic as possible in this kinda quests/games *is* my idea of "enjoying the ride", meaning that others seemingly taking that away by (in my mind) half-assing things and rebuffing my advice really frustrates me.

You do realize that you are doing exactly what you are accusing others of doing to you, right?

But honestly, regardless of which plan wins, "Cold Case" will be part of it and therefore we should start choosing some omake boni for it to boost it horrid chances.

So, someone has probably already pointed this out...but we're basically the Warhammer Dwarfs, aren't we?
Developing steam tech, gunpowder weaponry, lives in the mountains, have some very good miners, and aren't so good at magic, but we've got runes.

I only picked up on it just now, doing a reread. Made me smile.

We ain't Dwarfs. Dwarfs can't fly unless they have machines and they aren't german, no offence.

Also, we don't do the whole grudge thing.
