Wooo~~! +20! and canon to boot! Yay yay yay~~!+20! Legendary Omake! Great characterization of the family dynamic!
it already is a crit will not change anything.@Questor As someone else pointed out, you seem to have missed the bonuses from First Contact Protocols and possibly Naval Navigation Tools.
It might. Some crits can become more powerful if the dice increase.
here are the rules for Dice and critsCore Mechanic:
Basic Roll: d100 + Bonuses > Target Number
Critical: Roll 90+
Natural Critical: Roll 90+ without Bonus
Natural Critical > Critical
100% deserved. Daft punk was an amazing omake.Wooo~~! +20! and canon to boot! Yay yay yay~~!
I'm glad you approve. Seeing as I did a rather serious one last time I did something with garrick, thought I'd do a more lighthearted one involving his family.
Probably going to do one on wrestling next...? And then after that see if I can finish up the science one. I don't think I have enough steam in me to get another one out by the time the next update hits tho.
Unless someone else has some ideas they want to shoot at me. If it catches my interest, I'll try my hand at writing it.
Again and again, it has been said~Oh fuck! I just saw that you actually need to request your omake bonus gets used at something!
Good to know. Given that I now have +40 in the bank.
Seems like something that would take a bit of deduction.100% deserved. Daft punk was an amazing omake.
I was trying to think of how to write Archimedes trying to pump Kaptain Karl Kaboom on info about the explosion to, and I quote:
"Get learned how to make stuff more Explosion-y"
I'm thinking of writing a Diamond Dog Omake.
Need to do a little thinking on how to go about it though.
Seems like something that would take a bit of deduction.
I'd assume, as diamond dogs, they'd know about the dangers of lighting fires underground and occasionally suffocating from seemingly nothing, with things like carbon monoxide and the methane he'd need to know about (maybe some reference to taking canaries into a coal mine). This would probably lead to the assumption that maybe there's different kinds of air, since you can have high humidity air, as in having a lot of water in the air, what to say other things cant be in hte air? This would lead to checking places diamond dogs have been warned off (don't go here, its a death zone/don't light fires here), and taking air samples. Following that would be some experimentation in trying to seperate the gases, which would prove.... difficult, really. Dunno how you'd go about trying to get methane seperated and condensed down. Use boiling/freezing points...? That would require tech we don't really have or magic, unless there was some alternate, easier way. I'm not a chemist, so I'd have no clue. But, at the very least, he could go and take the samples and see if there's anything different about the air there. test flamability and what not.
Nope they got away cleanI was just reading over some old turn posts. Did we ever find out what happened to Brochard's old spymaster? They did abscond off with Brochard's treasury and a couple thousand gold would have a MASSIVE effect on the economy unless it's just being sat on somewhere. Given our successes in intrigue lately we can probably discount Sombra collaboration, and probably the yaks. Where could they have gone?
They are also almost certainly that mysterious female Gryf we met.I was just reading over some old turn posts. Did we ever find out what happened to Brochard's old spymaster? I haven't forgotten about them, though Garrick and Ravenburg have had bigger priorities as of late. Make no mistake, that missing gold and missing Griffon will make an appearance later...I was just reading over some old turn posts. Did we ever find out what happened to Brochard's old spymaster?
