Is there much reason for changlings to come after us? Compared to the ponies or other races were not exactly the most affectionate race along with probably being more paranoid then the ponies.

To be fair the Changelings dont really need active love at feed. So we could just give them our Prisoners/Criminals to feed off of. Not to mention we could just give them buildings to use as a "Moral Boosting Escort Services" for harvesting love and possible Intel gathering.

Isnt our society honor based? If so the number of criminals and griffins willing to use the brothels probably wouldn't be enough.

Are changlings capable of giving the energy they gain from love to other changlings? Cause otherwise I dont see it working since the griffins aren't gunna love every single changeling they come across and you cant really pair a bunch of griffins and changlings and expect it to work out automatically.
From what i saw they put their victims in cocoons and suck love from them in there.
So we can have something worked out, maybe have some Griffons be put under illusions and have changelings feed on their love.
Changlings get food and Griffins get some pleasant dreams.

Honor bound doesn't mean they are puritans. Criminals will always be a thing no matter what society there is. As for brothels those have existed for as long as civilization has. Did you also miss the part of the update that said there were too many affairs and sex scandals to keep track of. You can bet it isn't only the nobility that does this as well.

Not to mention that if we let them in our society that doesn't mean that all Changelings will be brothel workers or our soldiers, some of them might be honest civilians that work and earn money but instead of buying food they can pay Griffins to be put under temporary illusion and give them love.

Will we be able to feed their entire hive(s?) off of our worst criminals and brothels if so works for me I guess(not a big fan of the hedonism issue they bring up but oh well)

I did actually miss the sex scadel part yes.

As said in my earlier post

Basically they can lead a normal life in Griffin empire and pay common Griffins to give them love.
Your prior statement only brought up that there would be ones working as citizens which doesn't mention how it would help feed the changlings. The mention of the civilian changlings paying for love does mention how it could work though

What's so dishonest about going to a "brothels"?
Also their are Brigends and Pirates for the criminal element. Also "Moral Boosting Escort Services" doesn't necessarily mean just sex even if I heavily implied it for a joke, it could be anything from "Marriage Counseling" To Massages.

True, as I said above it could be a start of Spas. And other services. Magic could be REALLY useful for special jobs that are difficult and/or dangerous with just physical labor.

Depends on how the QM decides on how Changelings work I guess, I've seen stories explain it as storing the selected emotions in honey to store it.

Unless changlings can pull the love projected between two diffrent people then the marriage counseling(unless you mean something else by the quotes then I doubt that would work too well since the culture seems to be somewhat similar to Europe so most couples would be generally monogamous), massages, spas, and similar things wont get very much love if any.

They won't get any love, but they can get money. My idea is to have changelings work and be payed in money for their work and then they can pay Griffins to be put under some spell and feed them love.
Or better said they employ Griffin to give them love for a month and in return they give him/her monthly pay.

Like I said, we don't actually know how the QM wants the Changelings to work so I'm just throwing ideas out there to maybe inspire him and how we could possibly use the knowledge.

So basicly have the changlings pay to drain the love out of griffins? It works for me as long as its only uncomfortable for the griffins(no way having your emotins sucked out will ever be fun)

I'd like to point out that Changelings could possibly be able to feed of of passive love as well. Which could be a way Changlings collect love instead of kidnapping.

I'm sure that working on field or mine entire day isn't fun as well, now compare that to being put under illusion in wich you will have pleasant or relaxing experience and say to me that it is uncomfortable.
It is work like any other wich will leave you tired or drained, but on better hand it is one of easier jobs where your life isn't at risk.

I think passive love only works if the love is directly targeted at the changling. So it would only really work for couples and such since anything else would be pretty weak.

Griffon Warriors, Part 1
Well this should be an interesting quest. A nation of (comparatively considering they can somehow fly under their own power etc) muggles amidst nations of magic users.
Though:
Muggles: Griffons are one of the only races that are utterly incapable of using magic in any way. They can use objects that have been enchanted by others, but that's about it.
In regards to this, as I recall in the MLP-verse there are numerous magical plants, animals and even minerals. Could griffins use them as a basis for alchemy, potion-making etc etc since while the griffins don't have magic, the ingredients do?

As a tax/bonus here are some images that I ran across that could be useful:

This may turn into an arms race. We really need to work on getting Wingbardy into our sphere of influence. Perhaps revamping the army as well.

Trade is going to be our best bet to get them on our side. Once we have good trade deals we can talk about the mutual defense pact. This will improve our relationship with them. If the Duke has a daughter then we could marry her and draw them even closer.

Really like the pictures. Good job getting them.

Thanks. Though I imagine that unless griffins have some pretty insane wing-strength to weight ratios, full-plate armor isn't something normally seen since they need to retain flight capability (unless they are doing ground-bound tunnel fighting etc). Ergo they primarily armor the forelimbs, claws, head and neck while the belly and back get some basic protection (leather etc) at most.

Of course this also means that griffin society probably has the best 'mundane' metal-workers around. Because they need tools, weapons and armor that are as light as possible while still retaining proper strength.

The ponies presumably get around these limitations by 'cheating' with magic.

We really do need some counters to magic. But that's for later down the line. When we meet other magic using races. For now our foes are other griffions, monsters of varying sizes and shapes and vaguely intelligent bipedal dogs.

I think it depends on weather mlp alchemy is all in the ingredients or needs a little bit of outside magic to work.

Actually we had option to diplo them by sending army to help them with monsters.
We should really take it next turn.
As for trade, well that is actually best way to bring Feathersia to our side, for Wingbardy i would say it is safety as they are concerned that they might become battlefield between us and Aquilegia.

Turn 2 Rumor Mill
Naval Arms Race?: With the first vessels of the Aquileian navy launching from their docks at the same time as Griffonia begins laying down the keels of their own ships, many Griffons have begun to fear and anticipate a brewing conflict between the rival states. The Duchy of Wingbardy eyes both sides nervously as the Feathersian princes begin to brainstorm ways to make a profit off of such a conflict. Meanwhile, the ordinary people hold their breath and brace themselves for the first true war in over a century, less than a decade after the disappearance of Discord.

Feathersians for Free Trade: Ignoring complaints from King Brochard of Aquileia, several Feathersian city states have begun trading with his rival Griffonia, enriching both parties and raising questions about the supposedly neutral status of the alliance.

Wingbardy Burning: Diamond Dog raids and troll attacks have become more frequent in the Duchy of Wingbardy, as the neighboring kingdoms have increased security, forcing them to seek targets elsewhere. Several farms and outlying villages have already been sacked, stolen goods and captives carted off to the underground dwelling places of the beastly hordes. The Duke is having a hell of a time trying to put out fires (both literal and figurative) across his lands.
