Torture is the option beyond that one it is why it has a chance to kill him. These are enhanced techniques meant to determine whether he is telling the truth or not. We also don't care what happens to him once we get what we need he is likely to be killed or imprisoned for life.

Enhanced interrogation is useless bullshit. This is scientifically proven. It does nothing to help get useful information, and may prove actively harmful to gathering actionable intelligence.
Either do a Normal Interrogation, or own up to it and murder him.

No? There's a chapter in Origin where Degwin met with imprisoned Revil and spoke of easing the wheel of war and Degwin being surprised/enraged when escaped Revil told Zeon to shove the stick where sun doesn't shine. So no Degwin doesn't want an earth invasion as he is more than aware of the likely outcome.
Edit: It's not like Zeon command would have any hesitation to push for further conflict seeing Federation space navy were gutted post one week war and earth just ate a colony drop. GG Aussies.
