Thanks! Most of the intro was actually done by modifying the game itself, as it happens. However, the Ranald faces looked like crap when scaled down enough to put in the actual cutscene image, so those were added in post instead to keep them higher res. Synching up their fadeout with the scene was tedious, but definitely worth it.

I'm just asking because it as the most detailed description of a Enoir NPC out yet, (those YMMV, she is an active criminal, so not that representative of 'the average Enoir' and set in the future from now), as well as some descriptions of places in Laurelorn like the Vale of Memories and the Cairnfolk (a clan? society?... mad artists.) that live in it. (arguably the coolest thing out of Laurelorn updates yet) as well as missions that can be seen as a look into the types of things that interest them. and some background characters: most interesting for me being the dead Elasil Brichtorn, hero of the Nordlander village of Kronven. (ignoring the soul stone plot bit) and Ramorarha Bloomheart, an (future?) ambassador in Middenheim, who is 'well loved' at the count.
now, it still has more than a bit of WFRP 'everyone is an asshole deep down', but I would still place it as one of the better reads for how to create Patrons and the type of missions they would create.

This quest is without question my favorite, although I'll admit catching up with this quest in Dec 2020 had me spoiled for a bit with new updates rolling out every alternate day for a month or two

Problem here is not excitement. For Boney to get it the thread must stop exactly 1 post before the new page. Between accidental ninjaing and the thread being too afraid to post anything (resulting in a standstill 5-10 posts before the milestone post) that is a hard proposition.

I think everyone realized this when she became a WIZARD. Like a lifelong existential battle with the Temptations of Chaos, a lifelong balancing act between advancing her magic and dying horrifically in a miscast, or a lifelong battle between serving the Empire and not killing all the bigot assholes in that Empire that treat you like shit...or any of the other challenging lifelong battles she was born having to face.
Personally I think she'll find the EIC relaxing after all the other bullshit but that's just me.

We have seen before that Mathilde goes through the EIC records. This together with controling the corporate policy basically from day 1 means that Eike has the advantage that the corporation she is inheriting is fully in line with what the Grey Order would consider acceptable buisness practices. And both Mathilde and Wilhelmina know about the Vow and have several years time to make sure that the EIC can be argued to be of direct and practical use by the time Eike would start taking over.

So now that we're managing to Waystone Project are we our own boss? Will we be getting a council of our own Advisors for the Project? I feel like that would be an interesting progression seeing as this would be the first time we're without a boss, so to speak.
Unless of course I'm simply misunderstanding and we do have a boss, maybe the woodelves since the project is going to be based there? , who we're going to be reporting to.
Also, as long as this post is #249,975 then the next person to post will be on page 10,000, so if you're looking above and are unsure of whats going on, that's the answer I think. If this post isn't #249,975, then another post has been deleted somewhere along the way and we'll need another to get there.
Edit: I'll be honest seeing how many posts have already been deleted just since we've sat at the edge of 9999, I have to wonder how many get deleted in normal operation but ate simply not noticed or remarked on?

Your issue is that we have leading role in the Empire. That is it. We lead therefore you hate it because it is not existing leadership and you can't help but consider status quo good and any improvent is bad because it is not status quo anymore.
But we are inheretely a political actor in this quest if you don't have the stomach for the actions that is unmitigated good I wonder how you will handle if we ever have to pick between bad options. Raging against the existental problems of what it means to be a political actor in a nation state like Empire is not revelant.
