empire dwarfs are legal citizens of the empire and not the Karaz Ankor.

its already been worked out.
Yes. Empire dwarfs. Our status as thane and loremaster of k8p is what makes the issue complex. Which I stated in the post you replied to. Please, read stuff you reply to.

Human souls have always been mutable and get changed by the power they channel.

We spent a long time channelling Gazul during Waaaagh Birdmuncha. Could have gotten a trait from it.

At least part of our soul probably is dwarven right now if anyone checks.

Slaanesh sees a magister poking at Karak Vlag:
"A magister?" sends a force of daemonettes to dispatch them
Mathilde: pulls out Branulhune
Slaanesh: "Mathilde the Magister?!"
Mathilde: unplugs the Karak-in-warpinator

Oh lord. That proclamation is probably so much legal trouble. So, Mathilde has always been a dwarf. Is she a subject of Karaz Ankor, though? A case can be made both ways. And it's more complicated than Empire dwarves, as she is a thane and coucilor of a Karaz Ankor hold. Moreover, does it mean that Karaz Ankor has to recongise the Grey College as a proper guild? I mean, not recoginising it would make Mathilde obligated to declare a grudge on the spot.

This is a legal shitstorm.

And we propably won't see it until we return from the expidition.

We return and the empire has been subsumed by the Dwarfs. Quality of live improved by 9000%.

That... would be hilarious.

@BoneyM , I don't suppose you could threadmark that bit?
Most current readers probably saw it, but I know a couple planning to come back after a break, and I worry they will miss this.

I mean, if you believe Teclis and Volans, most don't. Only those who have a talent for magic can cast "miracles" of Sigmar.
While that is fair, and theurgy is a fairly contentious issue, saying an entire clergy of a clear superbeing has no way to call on its ancestors to do something they normally can't but falls within the domain of said superbeing seems rather contentious, when we have no proof on the contrary other than Gunnars using common sense in situation where it was better than doing some Cult of Gazul mumbo jumbo.

Do priests of Sigmar have no way to channel his holy wrath?
The difference is that priests of Sigmar are humans, not dwarfs. Humans are capable of channeling magic, unlike non-Runesmith dwarfs. If there ever was a hypothetical dwarf priest of a human god, they wouldn't be able to cast Divine spells no matter how devoted they are, because dwarfs can't do magic outside of runes. Chaos Dwarfs are the only exception, and that's because Hashut changed them when they swore to a pact with him.

Note if this is real (still not sure it is) and we manage to make the Karak Dum expedition a success in some capacity (i.e. evacing the survivors, avenging some grudges and retrieving one of the Az a Grimnir and the Hammer of Fate) I wonder how that will affect things even more.

There is no evidence in canon or in the quest of any dwarf beyond runespirests having a supernatural sense. I would say the burden of proof is on you.
